LG BP 340 Blue Ray Player had for bout 2 yrs. For some reason when playing disc, starts to play 3-5 seconds then stops, white screen. Goes to my sony amp 1st then tv, lap top and satallite are same connects to same amp, HDMI only all worked fine from day 1. Hooked to tv only works fine. I had made no changes. Lap top and satallite work when I moved to where blue ray connects in amp and they work fine. Blue ray wont work in any HDMI input in amp, has 3 HDMI input ports. Sony amp is STR-DH700. Had no issues with it in 7 yrs.

This is the third BP340 that I have purchased. All of them work well and the convenience of DVD and Blu Ray is excellent. We are able to stream Netflix through the Wifi very well. I highly recommend this unit

It works as it is supposed to. It is faster and more reliable connecting to the internet than the Samsung it replaced. So Pandora and youtube are easier to use. It is a bare bones unit which is what I wanted, but it could use an audio output. The only output is one HDMI. It would be nice if it had an analog output or an optical one, but analog would be better.

Recommend this product. Easy to setup. But just notice the App launch is not as fast as Amazon fire sticker. And it would be nice if can include Amazon Prime.

I am very impressed with the picture quality. Especially when up-scaling standard DVDs. The front controls and the remote have a rather cheap feel to them. The remote is very light. But, the unit functions better than my old Panasonic,

We have had this Blu Ray player for over a year and cannot stand it. I honestly wanted it for the simple and easy to use features. We have had to "update" it constantly. We can watch about 20 minutes of a movie we rent and then garbled sound to no sound. Waste of money.

Picture quality was the most important feature for me and I read several reviews that had positive comments on the LG BP340 picture. Streaming was also a feature I wanted. Picture quality is very good and from what I understand it upscales standard DVDs to HD quality. Not sure if that's true but standard DVDs look very good and when I check the resolution input on my TV it says 1920x 1080/60P. It has a USB port that plays a wide variety of video formats. No Ethernet port :( Wireless streaming was poor until I upgraded the software and now it is very good and that's with my router about 40 feet away directed down a hallway into the living room. Trying to find out if it also upscales video files to HD from the USB port and DVD. The unit is a bit slow in response using the remote but its worth it to me to have the great picture. Not many smart apps but that wasn't what I was looking for. I would recommend an LG Blu-Ray player.

Easy, fast Set Up , enjoy using the USB port. The front panel Leds for Power On & Open/Close could be brighter, in case you lose the remote control. The usual complaint, it would be nice to have owners manual come with the unit. I have not tried the Wi-Fi feature yet. So far the unit is doing the main task I purchased it for, Wi-Fi feature, later on.

I purchased this blu-ray player as part of a second movie player set up in an unfinished basement where it's just a TV and blu-ray (no stereo. I had very limited space to house the unit in the TV stand and this device is very compact (and transportable should one want to take it with them on trips etc). I needed the built-in wifi as the TV I have downstairs is not a smart TV, nor do I have an Ethernet dongle for it. The wi-fi and video playback over the first 3 months of usage have worked perfectly. The only negative I found was that the device has an automatic shut off which, when I was using a trial netflix membership, was making me always re-sign into net-flix. I was able to turn off that feature so the device stays on all the time but that's not a problem for me.

A screen saver is needed for Pandora so one can listen to music without burning the TV screen. A simple 30 second delay and then revert to the LG trademark moving around the screen would be a huge help.

As a stand alone product it plays regular DVDs as well as blu-ray DVDs. Having built in Wi-Fi capabilities, it connects to all your major subscription applications such as, Netflix, Prime, etc. The quality is excellent. I love LG products.

This smaller-sized Blu-Ray player fits my home-viewing needs very well. My only issue is with the limited number of options on the Premium feature, i.e. Netflix but no Amazon Prime. But it works well and the price is right.

The features offered in this product for the money are an excellent value. I love the ability to link to my computers wireless connection to give me access to the music files I have so I can play them. The ability to connect to other online services makes it even more convenient.
