Have wanted an OLED set since they were first introduced. Finally able to afford one. Set up was extremely easy. Updated the software after connecting to wifi and didnt have to do much else. The picture is absolutely breath-taking!! Couldnt be happier with this set! Love it!!!

I have owned this blue-ray player for three years now and is trouble free playing discs of any kind. However, the Wi-Fi integration is another story. We watch Netflix quite a bit and this unit likes to log us out regularly. It also needs to be restarted constantly or else it will kick us back to the main menu where you have to start over and wait for Netflix to boot up again. What a hassle and is very time consuming. I downloaded the update and it got worse until I reset the unit to it's factory settings. Starting over was not fun and there doesn't seem to be any improvement after I got it all set up again. I know LG can fix this!

I've owned several Blu-ray players since they have hit the market, and the LG players (I own two# are the best. LG continually sends updates to the players so they play the latest discs #something Sony and Samsung stopped after about six months when their new players came out), LG upscaling truly works...hard to tell the difference between a DVD and Blu-ray and the smart apps that are built in are great since it allows you to play your streaming videos through your stereo/sound system and take advantage of your 5.1 or 7.1 sound system instead of just your tv or tv "surround sound". But truly the best of all and the main reason you buy a disc player in the first place is the fact that it plays almost any disc you put in. I've played PAL discs from England, some homemade BD, some mkv discs and DVDs, and Blu-rays from everywhere, including some region 1 and region free, and so far except for one or two damaged discs, they have all played. I've even played DVDs that wouldn't play on any other DVD player with no problems. I've owned this one for over a year now and when I decide to upgrade to a 4K player, I'll be looking for a LG one to replace this one or my other one.

This player works really well for my needs. I use it for watching Netflix and YouTube and playing video and music discs. As far as features go, I only gave this unit 4 stars because I'd like to see a "reset" button on the controls. Just like all computers, it does crash occasionally. When it does crash #which is a rare occurrence# all I need do is unplug and re-plug the power cord to reset the unit and all is fine.

I've been using LG products over the years and ive never been disappointed . Reason being is that the quality spaeks volume...Ive never had a problem with this device and ive had it for a while now. I love the fact that it comes with a bluetooth connectivity, 3D capability and you also view standard DVD's in HD, how amazing is that ..LOve, love this product and still enjoying it.. Definitely recommend this product!!!

I expected a lot from this blu ray, but was let down at the troubles I have experienced with it. First off, the blu ray player has frozen from time to time with only the smallest doings. Entering the Netflix app, "updating and downloading" new software, attempting to connect with my laptop, etc. The device would not turn off, despite having it unplugged... The features you get are great, but greatness is only considered great if it works.

I have 2 of these players and have NO problems with either one, they are a good match if you have a 3d tv and the 3D feature works really good, the player has other features but the only one i have used is the wi-fi to set this up so i can download the updates for the player.The clarity , color and crispness of the picture is great. I would recommend this player.

Don't know about everyone else who has bought this product, but it was not a positive experience for us. Junk. Never stays connected, freezes up constantly. We have to unplug it, wait, then plug in. Waste of time.

Unit has been as advertised. Great sound and picture. Streams movies using DLNA. I would recommend this. One thing that should be added is Amazon video access.

The unit works well and is easy to set up and use. I had two problems with the item: the included RCA jacks are very short and may not be as good as an HDMI cable in transmitting the images to a HD TV. Second, I think LG should include a hard copy of the user manual rather than a disc.

The wireless capability is great. Needs to support more apps like HBOGO. Desperately needs a keyboard remote. Iphone remote app did not work but android and Ipad remote apps worked. Unable to play videos and photos from iphone. Needs to have the ability to select where you want to play back a video or movie. Rewind and Fast forward are moody. However hulu, netflix, wireless connected server, pandora, USB port are all amazing and have been alot of fun to use.

This player, along with my 55" LG 3D LED TV are perfectly matched to provide me with a television experience that is beyond anything I've seen in my 74 years. The color, features, sharpness, and 3D effect, is beyond words. I love all aspects of my experience and what I am viewing. You can't go wrong with this combination. The player was very easy to set up. It did a software download via my wireless network with no problems at all. Setup went smooth, with NO problems. A great pair for a great TV viewing experience.

This unit was easy to set up,looks good,has all the features I wanted. turn it on, with in seconds the player is ready to go,no waiting 45 +seconds like other brands. the picture is sharp,clear,switching from dvd discs to net-flix is a breeze .I have had this model for months,trouble free,I highly recommend this LG product to anyone. I am 76, i have no patience for poor quality entertainment products/ systems.

I have used my player quite a bit since i purchased it and it has great quality. It is fairly easy to use once I got acquainted with the controls on the remote. I had purchased another brand 3D player and returned it because it didnt work very well, but this unit works great.

Great product, love the wireless feature for watching movies from the pc. It's a little slow on start up and changing menu's. Features are very easy to use, Setup was easy. The player has a sleek look to it, features are fairly easy to access on the screen, again a little slow on that aspect, but not too bad. Front side USB is a great feature, also has a plug to cover the port when not in use.
