Questions & Answers

Shopper : Hi, I am searching for a monitor that is good both for image processing and viewing. Would this LG fit the bill, or is the Eizo you mentioned the way to go? Can you point me to a recent review of Photo processing monitors? (I use a Mac sistema.) ghanés, AlfredM P : Can this monitor be mounted on a wall or pivoting arm so to more effectively utilize desk space?david K : Replied your Email Daviddavid K : Please quote me Qty 3 with freight to Singapore 738221. Singapore DavidMusa M : Yes, go for it if you need a small monitor with full HD.GREG D : I bought he EZIO CG243W and I'm very happy with the results. My prints match great and the picture is uniform from top to bottom and both sides. Expensive but it was money well spent.J BROUGH S : EIZO is the way to go. Best monitor for image processing I have found. I am a professional photographer and have been working digitally for the past 12 years.ANDREW F. S : Having not worked with the LG, I can only speak on the EIZO. I had been following the prices for awhile and when the price was right I bought it. It is an excellent monitor; no color shifts as long as you calibrate it. The hood is extremely helpful for extraneous light. I've been extremely happy with it. I like the reputation of the EIZO Color Edge Line.DAVID R : I have never used the LG, but have been using the Eizo for years. It is great for imaging. I use it for photo and video. It has a series of easy adjustments which make it good for regular viewing also. If you will primarily use it as a viewing monitor, I would suggest a less expensive unit, but if imaging will be the primary use, it cannot be beat.JOHN W : I purchased the Eizo after reading up on image processing appropriate monitors,I am not familiar with the LG you are interested in but know you get what you pay for. NEC is another monitor maker that manufactures monitors that are used in critical color calibrated fields. There is an Eizo one rung lower in price than the one I purchased. Once calibrated with my printer, I am very happy with the printer output matching what I see on screen. Hope this helps.KOKO O : Hi Alfred, I purchazed the Eizo to use with a custom built PC system. I like this monitor a lot and have used it for about a year. I talked to the technical people at Eizo befor making the purchace. Before buying for the Mac make sure that the monitor you chose will actually perform to spec with the Mac. Also make sure that you can used various color management software that is compatible with the Mac. Eizo provides color calibration software which means you may not need any other monitor measuring hardware such as Spyder etc. I did not know that when I bought the Eizo. The Spyder does work but is not neccisary in my opinon. Do not hesitate to call the monitor company before you buy. Eizo told me what I needed and not what I was going to buy. Their help saved me a thousand dollars.
