The LG Electronics 55" IPS Direct LED Full HD Capable Monitor is a narrow-bezel digital signage display with an embedded media player and 8GB of memory, accessible by USB port. It features a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution and 178deg. viewing angle with IPS technology that allows the image to accurately be seen from most vantage points. IPS technology ensures less fall-off in color accuracy and less diversion in contrast ratio.

The bezel width is 0.5" on the top, right and left and 0.7" on the bottom. An included signage software, called SuperSign Elite, allows efficiently uploading your signage images to the built-in player via a variety of pre-made templates. You can also use optional external players with the monitor if they better suit your needs. LG offers the NC1100, NA1100 and NA1000, among which you'll find video support, different processor speeds and larger memory capacity.

A 400mm x 400mm VESA mount interface is available on the rear for wall mounting and an optional tabletop stand (model # ST-550T) can be attached for desktop mounting. Two 10W speakers are built-in, but you can alternatively connect optional external speakers to 3.5mm L/R jacks on the rear. Connections include HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort and D-Sub RGB/Component inputs, a 3.5mm audio input linked to the D-Sub input for connecting PC audio and RS-232C and LAN control ports. The monitor is Energy Star 6.0 compliant and consumes approximately 40% less energy than non-compliant models.
