Tried different video files formats on USB bit don’t play. Disappointed since Manual states it does play certain files.

So instead of buying a laptop to transfer my cds to usb. I thought this would be cheaper and easier. I had checked some YouTube videos to make sure it does what it says it will do. So I bought one new at Walmart. Well as one of the YouTube videos mentioned the instructions don't explain how to transfer cds to usb. But I was able to use my smartphone to down load the basic instructions from Lg website. So I'm practicing and getting it figured out. But it seems you cannot delete the usb files if you screw up. So they say use a PC to delete it and of course I don't have one to that. So I'll keep practicing to make sure I know what I'm doing then get some usbs and do it. And go to the library and use one of their computers to delete the practice usb. I will buy a laptop later in the year. I have no idea how good the DVD player is because I have a Sony blu ray.

I got this DVD player blu-ray with Netflix built in for christmas hooked it up the other day and when i go to use either pandora it will be playing a song and then says buffering and will go to the next song, when you use Netflix it will start out fine and as soon as you put on a show to watch it freezes up and then you cant watch it.

It’s an inexpensive DVD player and it’s worked great for about 2 years now. The only complaint I have is my remote has recently quit working. I’ve struggled with it for quite some time then all of sudden it just stopped working altogether.

My remote stopped working after 2 hours. Other than that 2 stars for picture quality and fast loading. I’ve even changed batteries and nothing Republic of Ireland here.

I had an old DVD player (about 10 yrs old that finally died and I thought this LG DVD player would be a good replacement. Worked great for 9 months but when I purchased several years of a series I liked, the DVD player plays one or two episodes and then it starts to freeze up. This is not an isolated issue it happens with ALL the disks which play perfectly by the way on another player. I am EXTREMELY disappointed!

WHERE ARE THE WORDS FOR THE SET-UP!!! Tried to follow the pictures and click on the description of what to do next and the remote doesn't access the screen on the TV set. Nothing to choose because nothing is on the screen.

My mother in law received this DVD player as a gift, but unfortunately will not be able to use it. The image is stuck zoomed into the middle of the picture, and is unfixable. We tried in vain to adjust the picture settings, but even with the image zoomed out to zero, and even with attempting to drag the picture around in the frame, the outer edges of the image are not viewable. My mother in law is hearing impaired and cannot see subtitles using this DVD player because they appear at the bottom of the screen which is completely cut off. This is not an issue with the TV settings, as we hooked up a different (older) DVD player and the picture appeared just fine. With the same DVD, on the LG a player we couldn’t even see the menu options at the bottom of the DVD menu, but just had to blindly guess where they were.

We just hooked it up, and not all of our DVDs will play. They are all region 1, they've all played on other machines in the house. There's no real reason why we should get the errors... now I have a 70" TV and only half my movie library available.

I just bought this product and it wont even hook up to my TV correctly because there is no audio cable. I can hook it up and see the picture but no audio. Now I have to go buy a whole new dvd player because even If I went to buy an audio cable there is no where to insert it.

This product works great as long as you have the remote, however because there is no play button on the device itself, once the remote is gone the device is useless.

It plays DVDs fine, but I can't get any files to play from my USB (formatted as FAT32). I've tried at least .divx, .avi, and .mpeg and nothing works. Not able to find much help anywhere either.
