I have used countless mice in the past 20 years. My impression generally is that logitech mice are a superior product. Of all of these, I have found thIs mouse to be the most comfortable and user friendly for non-gamers. It doesn't have the confusing array of buttons that gaming mice usually have. It is quite accurate in positioning and it is solidly built. The only downside is its cost which is high for many people, but I feel it is worthwhile because it performs so well.

This is my 2nd MX Performance Mouse. I simply wore out the first one after about 5 years of use. Extended functions of this mouse allow me to quickly navigate all that I am working on. Highly recommended.

Being big handed... this mouse fits the bill. Moves around effortlessly on a mouse pad made of office paper. The best feature is that you can program to suit your needs and style. I use the 'back' button to pan around a file, for instance. Middle button does not work well for me ( that's true of any mouse ). I have not noticed any interference due to flash drives, I use one all the time at work, gets plugged in a.m. and unplugged p.m. Battery life is good, I've had to recharge once in three weeks. Got rid of the original battery, I have many rechargeable batteries that are better than the original one. Who doesn't have their own rechargeable these days anyway? I got rid of the wire many years ago (10+), and will not go back! I hate having to manage the damn wire on my desk. I love it and would get another... hard to find this one in the brick and mortar stores so I did not have much tactile information before pulling the trigger. Glad I did, no regrets. Perfect fit.

This mouse is large and comfortable. It tracks well on every surface I used it on, and the button selection and their placement is quite good. However, a wired version of this mouse would be preferable as the 2.4 Ghz frequency is interfered with by USB 3.0 devices like a flash drive. Battery life is good. Recharge is approx. twice a week.

I was a diehard trackball mouse user for several years but even a trackball finally caused cramping in my hand. I spend 10 to 12 hours per day at the computer, so finding a mouse that wouldn't cause my hand to cramp up after a couple of hours sometimes seemed like tilting at windmills. The MX Performance mouse is by far the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. It's heavy for a mouse but glides easily, and it fits the curve of my hand very well. I don't know if Logitech makes one for southpaws, but I definitely recommend it for right-handed mousers.
