The Studio version of this Tray Mount Close-Up lens features a knurled stainless steel post on the handle, enhancing handling in studio matte boxes. It's also compatible with other rod-mounted and lightweight clip-on matte boxes, demonstrating its versatility.

The Brilliant2 Tray Mount Close-Up Lens series is crafted by mounting our 138mm Close-Up Lenses (Diopters) in a 4x5.65" matte box tray. These large, 138mm round lenses offer a 5.1" diameter clear aperture in the tray, making them suitable for use with large lenses and wide-angle lenses.

All Lindsey Optics lenses are treated with a broadband multi-layer anti-reflection coating (MC Coating), ensuring clear, bright images. The unique tray mount design facilitates quick and easy changes of close-up lenses in both clip-on and rod mount matte boxes.

The Brilliant2 diopters are compatible with Arri, Bright Tangerine, Chrosziel, Vocas, and other 4x5.65 professional cine matte boxes. However, they are not compatible with RedRock Micro matte boxes. Available in five strengths: +1/4, +1/2, +1, +2, and +3 Diopter, the +1/4, +1/2, and +1 fit in one slot, while the +2 uses two slots, and the +3 uses three slots in the matte box. This range of options allows photographers to choose the lens that best suits their specific needs.
