Great sound from the subwoofer!

Very happy with the soundbar! Unfortunately the power supply PCB of the WIRELESS SUBWOOFER died. Can I get replacement parts for it - I tried the LG spare parts outlets in Europe, but they don't have it. The P/N is EBR76798401 PC Board-Power Supply-Sub. I am willing to buy a whole new SUBWOOFER if parts are no longer available. From anywhere in Europe (preferably EU).

Big piece of Junk

The woofer quit and I will have to purchase a complete new system as you can not pair up another woofer with the sound bar.

My Review for NB3530A

PRODUCT WORKED GREAT FOE NEARLY A YEAR. AFTER THAT I STARTED HAVING TROUBLES WITH HARD WIRE CONNECTIVITY AND BLUETOOTH. SOUND CONSTANTLY DROPS. I PRIMARILY USED THE OPTICAL CONNECTION TO MY LG TV THEN LATER SWITCHED TO USING THE BLUETOOTH OPTION WITH THE SAME TV. IN BOTH CASE I CONSISTENTLY GET DROPPED SOUND OUTAGES. I NOW HAVE TO LISTEN THROUGH TH BLAND SOUND DIRECTLY FROM MY LG TV. I CAN NO LONGER RELY ON THE PRODUCT LONGEVITY OF LG . ;(

Love It!!!

I’ve owned this since 2015 and I have had no problems at all! I have it connected to my TV and Bluetooth works great with my iPhone! Sounds really good especially when watching movies.

Almost perfect!

I was given the soundbar and blue tooth subwoofer from a life long friend. There's only a couple of things that I dont like about it. First is you HAVE to have the remote control to link the soundbar up with the subwoofer that is connected by bluetooth. Second is the bluetooth capabilities for they phone does not work. So it's only a matter of time that the woofer may not pair up either. And there's no secondary wiring for the woofer. Other than that it has great sound, easy to set up, and has many features!

Sounds great

Bought this unit a while ago but now on a regular basis it decides to turn the sound off but the unit is still on. Will not play any sound for a while ie several hours. I am using a optical lead from lg tv. Any advice please

Bluetooth Stop Working w/Mobile Devices

Had my NB3530A system for some time now (approx 5 yrs, maybe longer, I guess I'm fortunate after reading some of the other reviews as my system still works great aside from the bluetooth feature for mobile devices. Stop working with my smartphone & Tablet.

Bluetooth connectivity.

I’ve had this unit a couple of years with no problems and I’ve been very pleased with it, however all of a sudden the Bluetooth connectivity isn’t working anymore, every device I’ve been using on it will not connect to it at all, it seems from the posts I’ve been reading about this unit all seem to have a Bluetooth issue. Will I buy another LG sound bar? I don’t think so. I’ve a couple of LG TVs and had these some years with no issues however I’ll give the sound bars a miss in future.

The Bluetooth between the sound bar and sufwoofer.

The subwoofer loses connection everyday for the past year and I’m tired of trying to constantly on a daily basis. Sometimes more than once a day. The mute and repair button sync never works. I can’t get the repair message to come up. It’s very frustrating. I had this for a while. The only thing I can do is it reset on back of subwoofer and unplug and replay it in. Most times that does not work either. It’s the luck of the draw for it to work. But I can’t return it to the store to get my money back and can’t afford a hardwired system. No wonder this model is discontinued

It was good while it lasted.

I purchased this about four years ago when I was shopping for a new sound bar. It was one of the best that I had looked at and well within my price range. I took it home and after some initial confusion on my part on how to hook it up, I got it up and running and boy, did it sound great! However, about 8 months ago my wife (who is deaf) came to get me out in my woodshop because she smelled something funny. When I came back in, that's when I heard a very low thumping noise and smell something akin to an electrical fire. I tracked the sound to the subwoofer by the time it started to smoke. I immediately unplugged it and threw it out the back door into our back yard (where we never go). It never fully caught on fire, though. Not sure exactly what happened, but it was great while it happened. I know that this review won't do anything because I think the items has been discontinued, but just wanted to make those that do have this system aware of what happened with ours. Could be a fluke or could not be, I don't know. But it was a pretty good system while it lasted and I might buy a newer LG model when funds are available (baby on the way....gotta save those pennies!).

Good when it worked!!!!

This soundbar is three years old and the bluetooth subwoofer has stopped working! I've tried everything and even a technician couldn't get it to work. Now just have the soundbar which is no better on it's own than the tv speakers. Equipment like this shouldn't last only three years. Have no other realistic option other than to buy another soundbar, not LG of course! I'm sure some companies inbuild components with a life expectancy just exceeding the woefully inadequate warranty period of one year. Avoid LG soundbars in my very limited experience.

Lg smart tv

Great tv that works with my smart phone. Color is great. More functionality with embedded apps when you log into the lg platform but I’d rather keep my info private.

Solid sound

I've had the soundbar and wireless Bluetooth subwoofer for well over a year and have generally been pleased with the product. It's definitely good value for the money. Our soundbar is hooked up to a TV in a large family room/open kitchen area and fills the space with good sound. It's much better than the TV speakers. My main complaint would be with the present sound profiles -- we have trouble finding one that provides loud and clear voices. It sometimes can be difficult to hear announcers for sporting events clearly, especially when competing with other ambient noices in our house. Overall, though, I would recommend.

Sound quality

I have this piece of electronic for almost 4 years now. I guess you cant buy it now in store (such pity. For all these years it worked flawlesly. Amazing sound quality (you cant deny benefits of active subwoofer). I use it in pair with LG TV via optical cable and auto power on/off works great. After 2 years or so remote sudenly starts to suck all power from batteries in week (you replace them and in week they are death), but i suspect my son pour some soda on it. But i had to buy new programable remote for my TV (someone break it in half :D) so i just defined critical functions on it, like on/off, function, and volume (is you use it for BT playback) and Im fine. So I cant do nothing else then recommend it if you can find one somewhere (in good shape ofc).

Product and service suck.

Do not buy this product. Just after warranty ran out remote sensor in unit failed. I know because after checking/replacing batteries, I got a new remote. Same problem. Also tried having bluetooth chip replaced. Still not working and customer service rep said I need to ship to Ft. Worth, Texas for LG to repair. Can't afford it and shouldn't have to. Never buying sound system from LG again.

Save your money!

After only 17 months, the LG 300 w Soundbar (NB3530A) will not activate (the red light is on indicating it is powered) when the TV (LG 42 inch) is turned on. I have disconnected and reconnected everything to no avail. I checked the TV setup and it has not changed from when the Soundbar was working. It is connected with an optical connector. I am disappointed that it has died after only 17 months. If I have to replace it, I am not inclined to buy another LG product.

Great sound for the price

Great value for your money - both sound and setup are easy. The sound is great. Only problem is that the wireless connection to the subwoofer are sometimes lost.

Great Sound Quality

The sound quality of this set-up is better than I expected. It is difficult to gauge the quality in store, but what I was able to hear at the store convinced me. When I brought it home and set it up I was blown away. It sounded like I had an expensive surround sound setup. The wireless sub was an added bonus (only needs to be plugged into the wall). I don't notice any sound loss with anything that I use this for. Playing video games with this is awesome as well. This also has Bluetooth which makes listening to the iPod or any other music player awesome. There are different types of sound features you can choose from also. If you are in the market to buy a soundbar, but don't want to spend a lot of money, but still get quality sound then this is the unit for you.

meh

sound quality is decent. at least until you play a game with a lot of noise like engine noise in forza... then its starts too buzz and rattle. the remote refuses too control my LG TV. and the TV remote wont control the bar. oh, and the sub-woofer started to make a repeating BOOF noise for a few min before i finally figured out what the noise was coming from, and realized it was smoking out the hole in the front like a Cheech and Chong re-run... so no thanks, wont be buying it again.
