Pleasantly surprised ! I use this scope to watch the critters in my backyard at night. My backyard is roughly a football field length and is pitch black on most nights. I can easily see anything that is taking a stroll across the yard and even see clearly into the trees. The focus is easily changed and maintained. The clarity is exceptional and I would definitely recommend it for anyone curious about what animals are visiting your home or campground at night .

This system is Fantastic,top of the line for sure.I've just returned from a Field Test and it,the system,performed outstandingly.My use of it is for observation of wildlife.The great thing about it is,the viewing is unbelievable.The sharp clear crisp image,has to be seen to be appreciated,.Also,I can understand the Military Applications.And the system comes with a carrying case,optical cleaning cloth,battery,operating instructions.Fits well in the hand.When I viewed with it tonight,the weather condision was overcast,and still had at least 200 yards of crystal clear viewing.And that was without IR activation.With the IR on I was viewing 300 meters,for sure.Farther then what the dynamics of the system,stated,in its capabilites.The only thing that is not so great about it is,It takes a minute or two to warm up.I am impressed overall with the entire system,and it will goe well with my survival equipment.
