Keeps food odors in the bag

We purchased several of these to keep food in at night during a six-day backpacking trip. We've had trouble in the past with critters chewing holes through zip lock type bags, getting to our food that we would hang from a tree while we sleep. No more! No scent escapes these bags when sealed properly, and we saw no evidence of animals showing any interest in our food during this trip. Time will tell how well these hold up, but so far they've performed wonderfully. Thanks LokSak and Adorama.
