This is a great laptop. I like the look, the size, the weight, the features, the screen, the speed, and the fabulous finger tip access. It flawlessly walked me through loading Office 365, and hooking up to my home network through wi-fi took seconds. Love the battery life!

I've only had this for a few months, and I'm really impressed with it! It's super light and thin making it extremely portable. It has great specs for the price point, and you can upgrade the memory & the SSD. Both big pluses in my book! I'll update after I have it for a decent amount of time and have had a chance to really road test it.

Received this as a Christmas gift to replace the Surface I had for a couple of years. So far I am very satisfied with unit. Very light and fast. No problems with it so far.

Got this as a Christmas present but it wasn't a surprise since I provided the list of required specs. I am a nerd by nature so was tickled pink with all the techy features, so light and great value for the money.

Great size, lightweight, and still has enough ports, like USB3, to work without having to buy a bunch of adapters. It works like it should, so no complaints on the performance. The webcam is not the best, but above average, for video conferencing.

Bought this a month ago and love it. Processer is very fast. My favorite feature is size and weight, Is very light, so easy to travel with and size is just right-not too big and not too small. Absolutely love my new laptop!!

Ok so I don't know much about tech. I watched a lot of videos for the best laptop for a business major, and I can agree! My laptop is really light, so it's great for my hour long commute withiut putting too much weight OR bulk in my bag. It's honestly like I'm carrying around another notebook. The battery life is great too. I leave at 7am and get back home around 5, and I don't have to lug my charger around, which is a huge bonus when I'm crammed in the library and there arent any outlets available. It's a good laptop and a definite investment for school.

So far I've been had this product for a month now and all I can say is it has far exceeded my expectations. For those who are wondering about its weight, it's super light. I'm currently a college student and when my classmates tried giving it a hold, they were so shocked and surprised when comparing it to their own laptops. As for performance, it handles Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition and Lightroom seamlessly for me. And it handles Microsoft Office applications plus Chrome with no issues. I highly recommend this 14" model in particular because not only is it a perfect size for portability but I feel it's the most balanced of the other two. Since 15" can get a little to difficult plus the battery life would suffer more.

I found the information in Consumer Reports to be very helpful while shopping for a new laptop. High Performance, Good Battery Life and overall weight and a HDMI port were my requirements. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

The last couple of laptops I bought were Macbooks but this time around when I needed to upgrade I thought about what I wanted in a laptop and there was not a Macbook that met my needs. My requirements were: 1 Light, as close to two pounds as possible. I travel quite a bit and did not take my Macbook pro with me because of the weight. I would use my ipad, but I really needed a real computer. 2) Must charge with USB C. I would like to be able to use the same charger for my phone and laptop. 3) Touchscreen 4) Must have either a fingerprint sensor or facial recognition to log in, I am so over typing my password all the time 5) Good battery life, because finding a power plug at the airport (especially during a delay) can be a pain. 6) Not requirements but would be nice – at least one USB A port and a quiet fan or no fan at all After doing lots of research the LG gram was the computer that best met my requirements. So far, I am loving it! I mostly use it for productivity tasks, lots of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, email ,browsing and a ridiculous amount of chrome tabs. My Macbook is still around because I have not finished transferring all of the files yet and I must say I have not picked it up for use since I got the gram. I thought moving from Apple would be hard but so far so good. And while this machine is not the cheapest windows machine it is cheaper than the Macbook I would have purchased. Now what can be improved: The screen is very glossy. I wish this model was available with more than 8gb of ram, but I was able to upgrade to 16gb easily because there is an empty slot. I wish the charging port and the USB C port were on opposite sides so I could pick what size I want to charge on. The speakers are just so so. I have found they are loud enough for me most of the time when working on a table but since the speakers face down if I have it on my lap the sound can get muffled. While I said I don’t miss using my Macbook there is one thing I miss about it. There are tons of cases, skins and sleeves that are designed for every apple product. I only found one company that make skins for the gram. Overall I love my new laptop! If portability and battery life are top on your list the gram is worth checking out.

Cons: only 1080p option for screen. Glossy screen. Power button placed in wrong place, need press "Del" and here is "Power" and you might lost your work. If I was the creator (designer) of new laptop here is my extra features for next ultrabook: LCD 21:9, 120Hz, QHQ+ or 4K resolution. 1 x USB 3.1 and 1 x USB 3.1 Type C (TB) on each side. One side with SD card slot, another side has microSD card slot. Magnet charging port. 2 x SSD + 2 RAM free slots (user upgradeable). Matte screen option. Power button will placed in correct place. Its really a fantastic laptop, if LG can change the micro sd card slot to the standard SD card slot, this laptop would be perfect.
