I purchased this laptop in August 2023 and have used it for two weeks. I've been very pleased with the speed and storage space. Came with Windows 11 and I ordered Microsoft Home and Student. I'm still getting used to Windows 11 features, but the machine itself is a treat. One minor complaint is that the icons on the number keys are extremely small and difficult to read.

what printer works best with this laptop? Also why is this product being discontinued? I just bought it yesterday!

I was specifically looking for a laptop that was extremely lightweight, had a large screen, and was touch screen. This has all tht but the mouse freezes all the time and the finger print sign in does not always work

I bought this computer last May and am in love with it. I primarily use my computer for working on Excel workbooks, email, and internet use. The computer is lightweight and the battery lasts forever. Ok, not forever, but longer than any other computer I have had. I was looking for a PC that lived up to a Macbook Air, and this computer is better than I expected. I love it!

I bought this computer 3 months ago, and it works great! It is very light, has an extremely long battery life, clear screen, and fast processor. I have a 2017 MacBook Pro, but I needed a PC for heavy Microsoft Windows use. This computer is much lighter and has a longer battery life by comparison. I find myself reaching for this one to take with me for work on the go. The screen size is perfect for my needs - any smaller, and I would have a harder time reading spreadsheets and comparing data. The numbers on the side of the keyboard allow me to do data entry without necessarily needing a separate keypad, although their configuration sometimes trips me up because I am used to the traditional number layout with the zero being centered. I haven't experienced any technical issues with my computer, couldn't be happier.

I was surprised with how much I actually liked the phone. It has a great battery that will last me 2 whole days without charging. It is the new usb style so it's easier to plug in. The phone has a great camera that I've really enjoyed. The screen feels very large for the phone. The phone is very easy to handle and is quite light. Even after the case, it still feels very light. It has a great amount of memory. It looks very sleek as well. I was debating between this and the Samsung and am very happy I made the switch. The fingerprint reader is in a great spot as well. I found the phone very intuitive. It was also great that it was cheaper than the samsung. I would recommend the phone.

The LG ultra-wide monitor replaces two side-by-side monitors for seamless viewing of either single or multiple applications. The On-Screen Control application, that comes with the monitor, enables split-screen windows for tasks such as editing between applications. It also allows for flexible, full wide-screen viewing of a single application. The single ultra-wide monitor and stand replaces the difficulties of two monitors and stands. I did a lot of research and found this monitor to be the best value and would not hesitate to recommend this to friends and family.

It's not the cheapest but there is no lighter laptop with such a large screen that will provide you so much power. It is pricy but it delivers quality: Reliable, fast and well designed with great keyboard and connectivity. Awesome for advanced users or a programmer like me. It makes the Apple laptops look obsolete... Use it and see by yourself. Before buying it, I owned and tried almost all the different brands with various success. My next laptop will also be a LG Gram. It is great for traveller and people who needs significant power and battery life in a super light device: 2.4 LBS or 1 Kilogram. You can't beat that.

If you are tired of cradling a hot noisy brick in your lap, then you are probably ready to consider switching to a silent, cool piece of balsa wood. There is actually a setting to not use the fan, with an alert that performance may be diminished. Bring it on. After using this for a little over two weeks, I still grimace, expecting the heat and noise to somehow return. But they haven’t. There is also a 15” touchscreen, backlit keyboard, and surprisingly, a numeric keypad. And since the whole package weights under two and half pounds, it rests comfortably in the lap, and is easily lifted by one hand. There is an indicator light for caps lock, but not one for numlock. I recall the online reviews that measure increments of speed and screen brightness, and glad that I ignored them (do you really work in direct sunlight?). The brightness and screen reflectivity are visually (to my eyes) comparable to other laptops on the market. I do not use the sleep setting, only hibernate. It takes about ten seconds to go from hibernate to desktop. Other important things to note: The speakers are intended for intimate use. The factory setting is low volume to protect the hearing of the innocent. You have to ferret out the places where volume is controlled in order to make maximum use of the speakers. I find them adequate. The power plug is small and needs to be firmly pushed into the socket on the laptop (one online reviewer missed this). The trackpad. Oh dear. The secret to the trackpad is to feel your frustration and then spend at least five hours tweaking the Elan driver, and the Windows 10 mouse settings. Many of the settings compete with other settings, so seriously, you have to experiment relentlessly and boldly to exploit the possibilities. Here are a few things I learned. Ninety-nine percent of the time, you do not have to even go near a mechanical click, rather, a finger tap is sufficient. There are multiple settings to achieve the same effect, applying to, for example, the scrolling of long web pages and documents efficiently. Another issue concerns the off center location of the trackpad in relation to the keyboard. The trackpad is located to the left of the center of the laptop, but to the right of center in relation to the alpha keyboard. Hence, your right thumb pad will have a tendency to drag on the trackpad. There is a setting to mitigate this, and you have to find the one that works for you. Some reviews have referred to the trackpad being too sensitive or not sensitive enough. This indicates that the user did not spend adequate time with the driver settings. Personally, I find the large trackpads that are the rage now to be ergonomically a mistake. Trackpads should be small and efficient. And really, they should be centered to the alpha keyboard, regardless of the esthetics. Further, considering the light weight of this laptop, the trackpad should require light clicking, rather than the more robust clicking required by this trackpad. Similarly, reviews have critiqued the feel of the keyboard. My experience here is that over time you will adjust to the new environment. I did not find it ideal to start with, but I have been a touch typist for about sixty years and the keyboard is perfectly adequate, and something that can be adjusted to as needed. There are other nice touches. Drivers are automatically found and offered for installation. The screen brightness defaults to the middle level with turning on. This means, that if you are restoring a screen outdoors that was last used indoors, you will be able to see it. The computer functions that are controlled by the function key can be used as ‘hotkeys’ by changing a setting so that you don’t have to simultaneously press the function key. So far, LG has been very responsive in answering my questions, by both email and phone.

Wonderfully lightweight, fast, good resolution. Easy to use. Too bad Windows 10 is not! Top is a bit flimsy but I'll take that for the lighter weight. Was looking for a very lightweight laptop for travel as I had a bad back. This fits the bill perfectly. Thank you!

After latest update. Now my laptop do not have sound output from its speakers. Device Manager shows unrecognized Audio Device. Update driver does not help with either automatic or scan the hard drive. LG Update Center shows everything is up-to-date. :(

Lightness, keyboard, battery, RAM, SSD all fine. Returned because the touchscreen needed too much pressure to register, the larger screen needs more pixels (UHD) rather than HD, inadequate sound system. My 3 year old i5 13.3" HD Lenovo seems better for what I do.

The computer is lightweight. It can be carried in a backpack without realizing you are carrying it. The battery life is great as well. When I was shopping for a computer, I was specifically looking for a 15" with a numeric keypad, because I type a lot of numbers.

This is the second LG Gram 15 Laptop I have purchased within a year for my company. Anytime I have a request for an extremely light and portable for working / productivity while traveling (by plane, etc.), the Gram is what I purchase. It has a very snappy processor with the i7 (2c/4t), ample storage on the lightening-quick SSD, and wonderful display. It is easy to adapt to the slightly low-travel keys and keyboard lay-out (which everyone has liked, so far). Bloat-ware is minimal, and the LG software that is pre-installed is VERY useful for this particular laptop. The trackpad is very responsive. Overall, this is a wonderful laptop that can keep up with any tasks you might need to conduct while away from your office, and is even better for after-work media consumption with its excellent display and decent-sounding speakers. One of my favorite laptops, at this time. It always runs cool and quiet (the fans are barely audible). And it is so light, it can sit anywhere while you Netflix and Chill -- resting it on your abdomen or chest while reclining on the bed is very comfortable and gives alternative ways to watch in otherwise desolate hotel rooms. Destruction tests on youtube show it can definitely survive a lot of trauma, but I find I like it so much it gets a little extra respect to keep it nice when being placed in a travel-bag, etc. Although a little on the pricey side, it is worth every penny for its speed, productivity, long battery life, and ultra-portability.

I travel extensively worldwide as a generator instructor and could not be happier with my Gram! Teaching, hooked up to a generator, or just doing endless paperwork this laptop is proving to be everything I had hoped for plus incredible battery life. Thanks LG, I'm pleased and impressed.

Size and weight is perfect for me. However, except that, other things are poorer than I expected. Sound is too weak, and especially, typing has a serious problem. while I am typing something, I just stops and I need to wait for a while. I guess, LG focused too much on reducing weight, so they don't pay attention that much to the stable functionality and other features. Furthermore, I requested repair for the typing problem using online request, but there is no reply and contact. I am very disappointed by the product and service.

I go through laptops, phones, tablets very quickly - usually until I find the perfect one. This is almost the perfect one: excellent battery life (lasts all day at work and into the night); so amazingly lightweight that I can walk around with it to type anywhere when taking notes; LOVE the thin bezels and the 14" screen; very fast even using Illustrator and InDesign; backlit keyboard is great and the keys have just enough travel(maybe just a tad below). The only thing I truly miss and will probably have to move on soon is the lack of a pen and digitized screen along with a 360 degree 2in1 design. I love using a pen on MS OneNote and marking up pdfs. With Windows 10 new inking ability, I miss the pen so much. Not enough to yet abandon the 14" screen, the great battery and the lightweight, but other laptops will come out with the same 14", great battery and thin bezels - maybe not the lightweight which is what keeps me with this for now.

Bought my LG Gram 15 three weeks ago and am super impressed. I am a CEO and carry my laptop everywhere and with this one, it is easy to do. Full manuals for download were helpful. Did the set-up myself and loaded Office seamlessly. No crashes or freezes. Super lightweight. The video of them dropping the laptop was helpful. The machine doesn't seem flimsy to me. Battery life is good, but I haven't tried it for 17.5 hours. Screen is easy to see and not a problem as I read in some of the reviews. Those comments seem like laptop envy, now that I have my LG Gram 15. Numeric keypad is slightly smaller but I have already gotten used to it, and can enter accurately for spreadsheet. Would definitely buy again. Pricing was important because technology becomes dated so quickly. Thanks LG for a great product.

I run my business from my laptop, and upgrade with each new product cycle to a top-end laptop. I was devastated when Sony went out of the laptop business, and tried a couple of other brands as replacements, but nothing measured up. Then a friend put me on the LG. It is at least as good as the Viao was. After a month of using it, I couldn't be happier.

Still getting to know her, but nothing compared in 15'' as far as weight, under 2.5#, Samsung was close on size, but decided to try LG. Screen looks OK, i have it next to my 5 year old computer and i hate to say it but old one looks better, i thought this was HD> very reflective, can see everything behind me. Had a gouge in it on armrest area, they covered it up with energy star sticker that was way out of place, no word from seller yet..

This is The long waited laptop with ample power in a lightweight body and with a 15.6" IPS Full HD screen. Since it is a LG, I will get one definitely once it's available in Sri Lanka, knowing the reliable quality impressed with their mobile phones and TVs. And also i know LG batteries very well because 4 years old Optimus G is still running like a champ which i have given to my brother. Seems LG left nothing to consider. I'm not very happy with my 14" laptop with its screen size and quality but had no any choice since all 15" are too big and heavy. Priced very well and powered very well.
