I bought this laptop for college and while I haven’t used it in a day to day classroom setting, so far I am happy with the laptop. The speakers on the laptop are a bit tinny sounding (I read about that before purchasing the laptop) and the touchpad can be a bit sensitive when scrolling (instead of scrolling up/down it will zoom in/out). Other than that this is a great laptop so far and I have not had any issues!

Fastest, lightest, most compact laptop I have owned. Just wish that it had DVD player and support. Had to add an external writer.

I'm software developer and more then 10 years use laptops in my work. I always searched for my best laptop, and it is LG Gram 15. I've just put all my wishes into to search filter and I've got this laptop in result. Here are my requirements for comfortable work: 1 Good 15'' display 2) Good Battery 3) !!!No discrete graphics to avoid heating and noise 4) Very lightweight and quite 5) Windows OS 6) All ports: all types USBs, full size HDMI, Card reader - it is really matter for comfortable usage. 7) No stupid heavy,soft,aluminum casing on which are clearly visible all dents I've using it for 6 months almost every day 16 hours a day in different positions and I'm satisfied :) It is really exactly what I was searching for long years before! Want to say BIG Thanks for all people how work hard to construct this laptop. Wish you all the best.

I've had mine for awhile. It's fast, the screen is great and it weighs next to nothing. Really all you could possibly ask for in a portable computer or even a desktop. Mine has traveled a lot and it is very durable.

I bought this 15.6" and full keyboard unit soon after it was launched and have carted it around over many flights and trips. I was concerned at first that being his light it may not hold up physically. I can say that it has held up well. I replaced the supplied charger with a USB-c charger (multi-voltage type that charges my phone and tablet) and that this works better than the supplied unit for my needs. The performance of the unit is absolutely fine for my needs which is mainly business and a few photos and browsing and I watch movies on it. All good for me. This is my 9th laptop in 20 years and without doubt, the best I have had as weight is a big consideration for me BUT I just didn't like a 13.3-inch unit which did not suit my needs. I will buy another when / if this unit gives up - I usually expect 3 years from a laptop.

This is a great low weight laptop, however you give up some things, the power connector barely stays connected at all. and keyboard is subpar. But for a 15 inch screen it is far and away the lightest you will find. Some will happily live with these downfalls to have such lightweight with large screensize. These issues do not look to be that hard to improve, maybe over time.

I own both the 2016 and the 2017 Gram, and it is a great laptop, but please ditch ELAN as your touchpad manufacturer. That company releases terrible driver updates. The touchpad is getting worse and worse with every update. I don't know who works there.

I have had this laptop for two weeks now, and I am highly impressed with it. It's so light that it's hard to believe it's a laptop! The screen is beautiful and because it's HD, the images are very sharp. I love that it has a 10-key pad. I think my only criticism would be that the 10-key pad is smaller than average, but take that criticism with a grain of salt because this laptop is amazing. If you are looking for a lightweight, large screen laptop... Then, this is your baby! I researched tons of brands, and nothing came close to matching the specs for the LG gram. And after purchasing it, I am not disappointed one bit.
