a bit disappointed with it. Lack of ram, no positive key feel and cant be upgraded past 24 gig and the company doesnt recommend going past the 16 it comes with . Will barely run PS, LR or any other photo processing program. The upside is the battery has a good range of time. Up to 6 hrs, but not using any photo programs. I wouldnt recommend it for photo processing but other than that its a good backup

This is a perfect laptop to work when travelling. I'm a software developer but work remotely, usually from SE Asia It's first time ever I feel that screen size is enough (17" 16:10 !!!. Also I was able to upgrade RAM (voiding the warranty, alas) to 32, and add one more SATA SSD. But it's not perfect - the power adapter is heavy and bulky, charging via thunderbolt is not supported, and there is no USB port with fast charge support Would buy LG Gram 17 instead if there were 32 RAM models

I came over from the MacBook Pro camp and could not be more delighted with the results. Let me first point out the value you get. It’s simply the best. I just got tired of the overpricing and the troubled engineering. A 17 inch is a must if you use this as a desktop replacement. Your eyes will love it for it. The built in gpu means you will be Abe to handle games and video editing for the foreseeable future. Expandability is there with ram and ssd space something the Mac lacks. The screen resolution is a step up from 1080p and 400 + nits brightness is important if your into photo editing. This is also the new gen of 17inch laptops with thin bezels and lighter construction. It’s a 17inch screen in the body of a 15.6 laptop. I literary can fit this computer into a 15.6 carry bag. How cool is that. I have owned different LG products. Never thought I was going to own their laptop line. They are a solid company with decades of manufacturing. I am happy with this purchase.

Before getting this laptop I never considered getting a laptop from LG but I?m glad I decided to give this one a try. The 17 inch display is beautiful and displays everything extremely well but the laptop is extremely light in weight which is awesome for its size. Everything I?ve thrown at the laptop so far has worked excellent. Whether I?m using it for work, gaming or just searching the web and watching videos the laptop has done it with ease and the speed has been consistent throughout my experiences so far. During my experience with multiple internet tabs open and a website editing program running the laptop didn?t slow down at all still loading things up very quickly without a hiccup. The laptop is super quiet too. I?ve played a few games on it, edited a website, and watched some Netflix shows and the laptop has yet to make a sound that I could hear. The cooling fans also do their job as I haven?t felt much heat at all being let off from the laptop itself. Battery life and charging seem to be great as well. Plugging it in it seems to charge fairly quickly and I found that after unplugging and using the laptop for about 6 hours straight(for work related tasks I still had over 50% with the battery saving mode on. The speakers are also fantastic as sound is crystal clear and loud even with the volume just half way. This laptop is a huge game changer for LG and now whenever I need to consider a new laptop in the future LG has my respect and I will definitely give them another look. Very exceptional laptop and I have yet to find something I don?t like about it yet. The only thing I would of liked to see added is some type of fingerprint lock scanner. I feel like in this day and age that should be a basic feature on any laptop but otherwise this laptop gets an A+ from me.

With Nvidia GTX Graphics, 16GB of Ram, 10th Generation Processor, DTS:X Audio, up to 16 hours of battery life, Dual Performance-Dual cooling system, all at an unbelievably less than 4.5lbs., you truly get the most out of any laptop now on the market. I love the fact that the screen is so large and well lit. I have been able to watch a number of movies and play various games and the visuals are stunning and the sound so good, that you feel that you are a part of both!!! I have had no issues whatsoever regarding any software i have used that came already loaded or any that i have added. The machine starts up fast, is very quiet and has more than adequate accessory ports. And on a personal note, my solitaire playing ability has improved greatly lol. I truly enjoy using this laptop and between this one, my other one and my desktop unit, this is now my computing choice. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion. Thanks for reading my review.

First of all I have to say this pc is faster than anything I've ever used. The boot time is nothing and the processing is incredible. The SSD is big enough for daily use and make everything faster than actually needed, too much speed isn't ever a problem. The screen and graphics are so good my husband has been watching sports on it. Its lightweight and and sleek. I have been using it for professional use and it's doing everything I ask, with a battery life of about 19 hours and decent audio from the speakers. My only complaint is that the webcam can be a bit grainy- I'm not sure if it's a connectivity issue, or the camera itself. LG has always been fantastic and this has sold me on buying more of their products. I've been using this laptop for about 2 months now for distance learning and its still performing the same- fast boot, and works well to share my screen and video conference with my students. It has been a life saver!

I am purchasing a new laptop for my working, I start working from home already for several months. My old 2014 mid MacBook Pro is too old and screen size too small for working from home. Yes, I switched from MacBook pro to LG Ultra PC. First of all, this is a beautiful and light machine, and I feel lighter than my MacBook Pro. The keyboard is sturdy and well spaced with just enough travel on the buttons, and the trackpad is big and enough for my work. But, G and H keys are not at the center of the trackpad, I will need to shift my hand before typing. The screen has a 2K display with beautiful color. It is not a 4K screen, but this panel is plenty sharp and bursting with color. This laptop has 2 USB 3.1 Type-A, 1 USB 3.1 Type-C, and an ethernet port. It is enough for most office cases. The only drawback is missing thunderbolt 3, and it has Nvidia GPU build-in, you may not need it...but, with thunderbolt 3, you can transfer files faster. While watch YouTube or movies, the speaker is not as good as some gaming. But, to be fair, with this thin laptop, you can't compare the listening experience with gaming laptops. LG did build in DTS Headphone this improved audio quality through the headphone. It has an HDMI port and build-in Nvidia 1650 GPU (with Intel GPU, I can play 4K and 8K Youtube at the same time. The Intel® Core i7-10510U processor is the latest 10th Intel CPU, it uses less power to deliver better performance. In my work, I need to open more than 25 Chrome pages, check email, and streaming Youtube videos in the background. I had no problem hopping between tab or programs. 16GB RAM is enough for most office use cases. Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 is another reason I chose this laptop The WiFi 6 is faster, can deal with greater device density, and uses less energy than WiFi 5. If you are using the laptop for the office use case, put WiFi 6 to a must-have option on your list. This is a unique laptop on the market, you can upgrade RAM and SSD if you need it. The 72Wh battery capacity should enough for whole day usage if you just check email, browse a webpage, or simple office work. If you ask me to list done the drawback, I would say, Power adapter is big. It has a built-in nVidia GPU, and power adapter must deliver enough power. We can't avoid it.
