I've waited many, many years for a 27" monitor and I'm so glad I waited. This monitor is beautiful and very satisfying. I'm confident it will last many, many years so I can enjoy my PC and my years of photographs and videos of my families life. I'll be retiring in January of 2022 to enjoy my day by day retirement and life. LG thanks...

I bought two monitors about a year ago and one broke, so I had to get a replacement, I tried to get it repaired thru warranty but it expired and LG wouldn?t help me so I had to buy another. All in all I like the monitors I hope it lasts more or double the warranty

Picked up one of these with 2000 hours on the clock at a fair price last Christmas, it didn't even make it through February before developing the white screen problem. I was quoted £230 for a repair from LG customer service but have ended up fixing it myself for just pennies. MOSFET Q308 on the panel's T-CON board will eventually burn up and short circuit all 12v devices to ground, causing only the 5v backlight to remain on which is why it goes white when it fails. Same thing occurs on ASUS VG278s and other brands of monitors that use these AUO M270HTN02 panels. It can be remedied by replacing the faulty component with an A09T MOSFET, also checking for any faulty / open circuit components when they shouldn't be to prevent the replacement part from being instantly shorted / cooked, too. While the defect on the panel's T-CON board isn't necessarily LG's fault, don't expect any support at all unless you're willing to pay big bucks for it, much more than the cost of a good, brand new (and likely much more reliable) 240Hz display. This MOSFET tends to only die after the warranty period ends, which itself is far too short for such a flawed product. It's quite a shame because when it's working fine, it's a pretty decent performing monitor and I enjoyed all the extra goodies and features it's software has built in.

I was just watching some videos and out of nowhere poof screen goes white. It only lasted 2.5 years, I hope the expensive OLED tv will last longer than that cause otherwise we gonna have a real problem.

This monitor was all I asked for and some. It’s a shame that I got the white screen 2 days after the 1 year warranty. I have LG appliances and was thinking about buying the CX OLED. Hopefully the OLED has a better panel.

Never in my life did I have a monitor break on me. Like another review said, after just about a year my screen went plain white and I've been trying to get a hold of customer service for more than a week with no response to my emails as well.

Main board gave out a little over year after purchase. Screen only shows white. Part costs just as much as the monitor.

Here are my specs, GTX 970, fourth gen i7, 500gb ssd, 8gb ram. Despite the decent color reproduction considering the panel I would not recommend this for any type of graphic production. So lets talk games. The refresh rate, which is the key feature of this monitor is outstanding. So far the only game I've played competitively is Fortnite. You can call this placebo, but I genuinely played better. My building was faster and more consistent, my shots were hitting better and my windows of opportunity are basically four times longer than what I would've had with my 60 hertz monitor. For those of you who are wondering if I was pushing 240 frames, I was hovering around 180 to 260 frames.

I bought this to work with two other monitors in a color balanced setup for photo editing and movie production. It has performed well and the color/gamma & contrast have been stable. I needed a HDMI monitor that would adjust to the height of my other monitors. I bought this at the promotion price and could not be happier with my decision. Good product.

Admittedly I have no experience with gaming monitors. However I can tell you that this monitor is the best I've ever had. I didn't know how much the high refresh rate made a difference and it definitely does. Having USB connections and the audio output and volume control built into the monitor is awesome as well. Wasn't the monitor I had planned on when I walked into the store but I'm really happy I got it.
