Coming from a 24 inch monitor it was a huge adjustment but eventually i got used to it. The brightness levels are just fine for my liking. The picture quality is amazing and i love it!! Great monitor for the price!! Can't beat it !!

Bought 3 of these for Christmas to complete my sim racing setup. Can't get rid of the ghosting no matter what anti-aliasing mode I use. Vsync on/off doesn't matter. Also screen flickering/screen tearing galore. Even while just using the regular file explorer window. Way overpriced. Called customer service and that was an absolute waste of an hour. I knew more about them than they did. Buy something else.

I've been using this for about 6 months now and really enjoy it. The colours are amazing. I just opened a bottle of champagne and accidentally hit my monitor dead on with the cork, and the monitor is fine like nothing happened. 11/10 would recommend.

I bought the monitor over a month ago and use it for all my game consoles and occasionally my laptop because of the bigger display. I wish it had built in speakers because playing Nintendo switch games require you to have a headset plugged in directly to the switch so I have to sit very close to the screen to get audio. Although I could just buy some speakers but I?m too cheap atm. I like the 1440p and the 32 inches. The setting for response time has ?Faster? ?Fast? ?Normal? and ?off? and fair warning the fast and especially faster modes cause the edges of objects moving fast to become bulky and rainbow colored as they move which I hadn?t noticed till I started playing Mario kart up close.

I have only had this monitor for a short time, but so far it is met all my expectations. I was looking for a new monitor upgrade to support 1440p gaming and after hours of research including reading and watching reviews, this model repeatedly emerged as a top contender. I certainly could have went with it's smaller (and decidedly excellent) 27-inch cousin, but for the price I treated myself to the 32-inch. The cost was a bit of an extravagance, yes, but not unreasonably so. The build quality is high, and setup was easy and quick, with HDMI, DisplayPort, power cable and the monitor-to-computer USB cable all included and saving me that extra bit of shopping or scrounging. I did anticipate that I would have to tinker with the settings for the best viewing experience, but to my surprise this was not so. Whether this was due to factory defaults or an enterprising technician somewhere along the way, I do not know, but it was appreciated. All in all, the monitor has done exactly what I have needed it to do. As stated, setup was a breeze, largely in part to the versatility of viewing angle, larger screen-size and height adjustment. The rotating feature is also neat, though I currently do not use it, but it is nice to have the option should I ever need it . While others may disagree, the unit really does not have a huge footprint. The legs are well-placed and have a notably degree of clearance for cables and cord if needed, while providing a very stable platform. This combined with convenient USB hub and "cable hook" ? I cannot really call the latter "cable management" ? allowed me to greatly improve my space efficiency. I highly recommend this monitor for anyone looking for a solidly built, versatile gaming monitor that delivers excellence performance.

Just got this a week ago. While the colors are great, and the refresh rate and overclocking is nice to have, I will be returning this monitor. The IPS glow is crazy on this model, it's very noticeable and quite distracting. I have a feeling LG knows this flaw, as their smaller 27 inch brother to this monitor (model 27GP850-B) is currently going for 200$ more than this monitor is. Because of the narrower view, given the same distance from monitor to eyes, the effect of the IPS glow is diminished in the 27" version of this monitor. If you have this monitor and you want to test what I'm referring to, just turn off the lights in the room and load up a completely black screen while the monitor is on, then move your body/head from side to side. You will see a cone of darkness in the center, and a glow around the cone that follows your body as you move, as if you're casting a shadow, although there is no light behind you in this test. On top of this, LG wants a restocking fee to return this monitor, so I am knocking the rating from two stars to one star.

The size and detail of the monitor is very appealing. Specs are nearly top notch for this model. The base of the monitor has a little larger footprint so make sure you have plenty of room on your desk. Helpful USB hub built into the monitor so you can hook your keyboard and mouse in. The OSD menu is easy to navigate. The important specs, it?s got them. 2560x1440 @ 165Hz (OC @ 185), 1ms response rate, Adaptive/G-Sync compatible and DisplayPort 1.4.

I bought the monitor when my son bought one as well. The small border gives me a very wide view. The only drawback was that when scrolling through a long document, it is jerky.

It's great bang for the in terms of price and features. HDR is good enough and looks great on high FPS games at 165Hz. I also use it for work most of the time and reading pdfs, watching videos, etc is all good. Happy with what I'm getting at this price point.

I play a lot of competitive games, and I switched to this from the 144hz VA panel. At first when I turned on the monitor, the black was a little too washed out, and I dropped the brightness from 100 (it was way too high percent to 80 and it really helped a lot. I set the contrast to 70. and oh boys how beautiful and vibrant the colors are on this monitor! I played Halo Infinite at 180 Hz with a FAST setting and the experience is awesome. The rich color scheme and smooth high frames make this monitor worth every euro. The only downside is that Blur reduction can't be used with 180hz, but I didn't notice blur and tailing at 180hz at all, so it's not a negative thing for me. Thanks to its colors and speed, this allows you to both plays competitively and edit the images and videos. Gp850 has been found in many reviews to be one of the best IPS game monitors and I can say that now, after a few game nights, I am very pleased.

Right out of the box super easy to set up. I did purchase a longer DP cable and made sure it was capable so no issues there. LG awesome job. The one thing I wish could get better is G-Sync. If it was true G-Sync the game would be so much smoother.

I had a 34 inch1080p 75 Hz ultrawide and decided that I wanted an higher refresh rate after I got my hands on a 3070 so I got the 32GP850-B. Love the monitor. 1440p at 165 Hz is great. I ended up buying a 2nd when I saw it was $100 cheaper at Microcenter. I have put my units on a VESA mount so I can't speak on the stand that come with it very well. It seems simple enough though.

I bought and tested this monitor a few weeks ago. It's build quality was strong, and it's appearance was great. However, 1440p at 32 inches looks a bit blurry, so i'd recommend going with the 27 inch version of this monitor

I did not realize at first how big a 32 inch monitor was, and it took some time to adjust. This monitor is really crisp and clear, and cannot wait to play my favorite game! The menu button it the best I have ever used on any monitor. So far its worth it and wish I had enough space for two :).

I upgraded from a 26" 1080p that was 10 years old. No dead pixels on arrival and the color and brightness is great. I like the clean, simple lines and no annoying power light to distract you as with some other monitors. The menu and controller is easy to use. I would recommend and actually have to my friends.

speaker i had a sound bar needed to return it didnt have the volume i was needing and i used the supplied h/p hole that i inserted my line into .but the lg ultra gear has no drivers or remote to control volume at all . my advice is a purchase of a quality sound bar to pair with this monitor or a purchase of a seperate product for gaming
