The monitor worked as advertised, but after 6 months the Displayport port stopped working. I have work around using a displayport to HDMI cable but I have lost functionality. Still waiting for LG support to address the dead port.

I bought this screen as I transitioned to a “work from home” environment, and boy was this screen just PERFECT for that! It’s a great size and when connected to my laptop, makes it feel as if I have three screens in front of me! It comes in several resolutions so you can choose how big or detailed you want the text to be. I highly recommend this monitor for any working professional stuck at home!

I bought this a month ago, and it seems to be working really well. Initially the settings were a bit off, and you need to adjust according to your needs. It is physically quite stable, and picture quality, especially 4k is outstanding

Had this for a year, solid performer with a few nice features, an average mid grade monitor. Not bright, non existent HDR performance basically, ups monitor means no blacks but good shadow performance. It's ok, I'm most likely gonna buy a VA or oled panel next time. Nice big 4k performance but nothing spectacular

Powered by a Surface Pro 7 which doesn't have the most sophisticated graphics capability but the monitor has superior looks and quality. Fed by a 50 foot HDMI cable and still looks good. The "screen splitter" is probably the most used feature as it is used in a work environment and multiple programs are running simultaneously. Office is in a Class A motorhome and this is the most sure footed monitor stand I have ever seen. Don't know about gaming, but for normal use and work use, it is highly recommended.

After several years, I am the happy owner of three LG 32UD59-B. I did not purchase these all at once. The first LG 32UD59-B was actually my fifth 4K monitor purchase. I started with two really inexpensive 28" 4K at 30Hz. These are too small, but got me hooked on 4K. I then purchased two really expensive 32" 4K at 60Hz monitors. They worked great, but when I wanted to purchase some more for my work computer at home, my office and my wife, I just didn't want to spend the money and I wanted a more cost effective 4K monitor. I decided to give the LG 32UD59-B a try because it was way cheaper, 32" 4K at 60Hz. I figured the high level specs were the same as the much more expensive competition. After about a year, I realized I liked the LG just as much as the much more expensive competition. I only use DisplayPort, 4K at 60Hz with native resolution scaling set to 100%. The LG supports HDMI, but I don't use it. I tried HDMI and it works, but its trickier to ensure everything works at 60Hz, while DisplayPort works at 60Hz with any DisplayPort cable I own. As time passes, I continue to buy additional LG 32UD59-B. One for the wife and one for office. I plan to look for sales and probably will end up getting another couple more for office, living room, 2nd one for wife. Out of the box, the sharpness is set too high and you get white highlights around black letters. I guess they are trying to make it easier to read text, but it doesn't work. LG 32UD59-B allows me to adjust the sharpness way down so I don't get weird highlights around black text. There are adjustments you can make for the background too. I normally dial down the contrast so the black is blacker and less white bleeding through the background. I also use this for gaming. 4K 60Hz 5ms refresh rate isn't awesome for gaming, but its good enough for me. Games look and play great with my 1080Ti

I purchased this monitor to rearrange my desk and get more real estate to work on. I did have a different brand before so I am used to the UHD but what I found pleasant is that I can scale this 100% and do not need to adjust things. For my workflow of consuming media and writing blogs this monitor fits every checkbox. The speakers are loud and the sound is, for my purposes, more than adequate. One of the main reason I picked this model is that it has USB-c with Power Delivery. I can now have a single cable that connects between my laptop and monitor. This is also one of the weak points and that is why I chose a 4 star. I will, of course, work with the support group. This monitor is ranked for 60W charging and it shows as 38W which is not enough to keep my laptop (MacBook Pro 15") charged. 60W will keep it running and keep the battery at the same level and that is the only negative I can talk about the out of the box experience. No dead pixels, sharp as can be and those small bezels realy give it a classy look. In the box, which protect the monitor well, are the stand, the screen and a box with all the cables needed. The cables are of very good quality.

I purchased this monitor after returning a Samsung monitor. I wanted 4k and Samsungs monitor did not seem 4k. LG has a refresh rate better then Samsung. Picture quality looks 4k and the screen is much brighter then Samsungs. I also like LG has two different imputs/cables you can choose to use. My only negative thing to say about the monitor is the stand is not as sturdy as I would like it to be. Honestly this is my first purchase of an LG product as I have always purchased Samsung products. I'm hoping their products will stand the test of time.

I mainly use the monitors for text, vidio, not for game, so actually I like the size, not wide, but have more vertical space, so far so good, the text is very sharp which I connect to Mac Pro with uni usb-c to HDMI connector which can support 60hz, it is good that it has VESA which I can mount the monitors to adjustable height stand. I like it very much and I bought second one !

The quality of a color monitor is clearly indicated by the "whiteness" of the whites and this monitor definitely passes this test! According to the "eye test", the colors are accurate and they are beautifully saturated. I have other displays, some significantly more expensive and the LG display equals or betters them in every way.

I connected surface pro 4 with 2 of these monitors via a J5 HDMI adapter. Only one supports 3840 x 2160 with 30hz and the other one 1920 x 1080 with 60hz. It couldn't support 4k 60hz! And the OSC is only show the screen split option.

I unboxed and connected by my other Black Friday buy - a new desktop with 4K video card. At first I was very disappointed because it just seemed washed out. I tinkered with the settings and nothing helped. I hooked up my old 1080P monitor as a dual monitor so I could compare and I realized just how washed out it was displaying. I planned to box up and call for a return when I had one last idea - click on the factory reset in the menu. BAM - beautiful. Not sure why it had whatever setting was in there out of the box, but the now it working great.

I bought this few weeks ago and the picture quality is great. The tiny speakers are adequate for just listening but not for watching movies so I'd recommend you get some nice external speakers. Not into gaming so it didn't matter to me that the display was a VA and not IPS, refresh rate isn't a big issue for me. Also came with VESA mount and that's a plus for me.
