At age 74, my hearing and vision aren't what they used to be. I rely on an external monitor plugged into a laptop (formerly, plug-in external speakers were not needed with this great new monitor with speakers built-in). My previous monitor was 23", and I thought I'd go a bit bigger since there was room on the desk. Bigger is better. I love the screen size of this monitor. The only reason I offered four rather than five stars is that the image is a little less clear. The picture is fine, but the quality and number of pixels are less than I am used to. It's still a very good monitor, and the built-in sound gives me more desk space. I expect my criticism will impact my "chance to win $500" in light of "an honest review," but this is 100% honest.

So far this has been an excellent monitor. It's exactly the quality I would expect for the price point being very good, but nothing on it is "exceptional." The frame rate is pretty solid, the colors are quite good, but the viewing angle isn't as great as it maybe could be. Though, for the price, I forgive that minor detail. If you're looking for a solid monitor at this price point that does the job, this one will certainly do.

I'm an instructional designer, so I don't use this monitor for video games and I don't need a quick refresh rate. It's perfect for video editing and Adobe Captivate projects. Color is excellent as well as the size is perfect. I looked at several monitors that we not as good as this one at a much higher price. My only knock, which doesn't effect me but might bother others is the sound quality is average at best.

So the product is great I love the HDR mode and the high picture quality. I also love that it has a digital keyboard on the screen u can use instead of your actual keyboard it self the color are vibrant the sound is loud it's definitely a 10/10 I do wish it had a camera already install but its a easy fix..

This is an excellent monitor! I am an instructional designer and I wanted a monitor not for gaming, but for video editing and working in Adobe Captivate and Adobe Premiere. It's the perfect size and the color and contrast is outstanding. You can pay a lot more for a lot less if you don't know what you're looking for.

Was looking for a larger, higher quality monitor. We already have an LG tv at home so LG was an easy choice. The monitor was on-sale at Costco. After using it for a month, I can say that it is about 40% better quality than my previous Dell monitor. Overall, the LG has proved to be an excellent value.

I needed a bigger screen so I got this one. I was hoping to use it for one of my games on Steam (Descent III). It crashed the game. Said something about it didn't want to display it at the current resolution and then I can't get it to load again. I even deleted it all and reloaded it. No luck. Bummer. Other than that, the bigger screen is great.

I have not used all of the features since I need to purchase a Radon 70 series video card to unlock all of the potential features. I bought this monitor about a month ago. I use it with my old computer(HP tower) and my new Geekom mini computer. I wanted to keep the older computer for old records and the built-in DVD/CD writer. I used the new computer for photo and video editing. The 32UN550-W had two HDMI ports which made it easy to switch between the computers and a great display. I would recommend this monitor for anyone needing a two HDMI port monitor.

Finally, I've been able to afford an LG monitor. What a change! Even on the basic screen of Win 10 the colors are better even in DP mode. Now if I could just find an HDMI card that isn't more $ than this fantastic display was. Believe me this thing is FANTASTIC in color reproduction. Before the heart problems interfered with my home theater calibration business, LG TVs, monitors and projectors were at the top of the heap and still are. Plus this LG 32" against my old Panna 24" are a great relief on my old eyes.

Bought this a few weeks ago, very sharp images. The colors are great and set up is easy. I use a display port to usb c cable that I bought separately. This provides 4k at 60 Hz. Great to view text for productivity and videos.

I have owned this monitor for a year and a half now and I can personally vouch for its quality and reliability. I have (literally) used this screen every day since March of 2021 and it has proven a great value panel for what you?re getting; the picture quality is great for a VA panel and there is almost zero backlight bleed or unevenness visible in dark images compared to many other LCD panels. The contrast ratio is one of the draws to VA despite the fact that pixel motion blur is a notable issue, but thankfully this monitor does better in that regard than several previous VA panels I have tried and/or owned. Just don?t expect this to be a killer panel for gaming due to its low 60Hz refresh rate?although I do game on it as well and Freesync on it works great all the way down to around 42Hz, which is lower than most Freesync panels support. Overall I would definitely recommend this monitor for someone looking for a great quality 4K desktop screen with the excellent contrast ratio that VA panels can provide. Just ensure you know what you?re buying, and that its few caveats won?t be an issue for you, and you are sure to have a reasonably priced yet quality 4K monitor that serves it purpose well.

I bought this monitor after researching several brands and reading reviews. I use this primarily for video editing. Colors are accurate and the screen space is welcome compared to my laptop. The built-in speakers are nice for limited desk space. I do wish it had separate volume buttons on the bezel, but not a deal breaker for me. Connected via a USB-C to Displayport cable.

I've been using this for a month and a half now as a second monitor. It initially was to be my primary PC gaming monitor, but the lack of darks I need for night gaming (both gaming at night and scenes in gaming that are night oriented). However, for daytime gaming it is outstanding. I mostly use MSFS and racing sims. Good contrast and brightness and good mouse and keyboard response time. Solid stand base which gives the monitor stability when using a force feedback racing wheel and the table shakes. One detail I really appreciated is that LG included both HDMI and DP cables to run this monitor in the box for whatever your video output ports are. The only reason I am using this as a second monitor is due to the aforementioned lack of deep black levels for night gaming and night scenes. I decided to go the LG C1 OLED TV route for that. This is just the inherent shortcoming of side or backlit LED LCDs, so if you do not care about gaming at night in pitch dark in your room as well as in night gaming scenes, this is a great value. I knocked 1 star from 5 due to a few dead pixels on the screen in the left center.
