Great monitor for gaming or even some work, just it overheats too fast.

Since new I have never been able to utilise the 144hz refresh rate as when selected the image is very dull compared to 60 or 75hz. For best text performance you need to install the LG custom colour profile. Now the display port port no longer works. Tried another cable and another computer will not pick up a signal. For the price I paid for this I was expecting more. Came here looking for a ?firmware? update. Living in a dream I guess.

Two tvs, both failures. Vignetting around the screen, poor image processing, and then both tvs failed within a week.

I bought this monitor as my main monitor. The monitor is great if all you do is watch tv and or videos or stream videos. picture quality is good for those. But horrible if you have to browse web or read documents. The text seems very broken and i can not find a way to fix this. I read that LG had a software to allow you to split screen but can not find it anywhere.

DP stopped working 18 months. HDMI PORTS are not able to run at 144 hz.

As soon as I powered it up and loaded American Truck Simulator I knew I had made the right choice in purchasing this monitor. This curved ultra wide adds a beautiful sense of depth, picture clarity and color richness that definitely makes my gameplay thoroughly enjoyable. The available features allow me to tweak the settings of each game to my preference and I love the ability to add a cross hair if needed. Well done LG, WOW!!!!!!

you can not go wrong with LG brand. all my TV’s and monitors are LG. I love the ultra wide screen you can do things side by side or just lays out well full screen. the stand will raise tall enough to get it where I want it I no longer needed my monitor stand which leaves more room on my desk. the curved screen is nice. and the back of the monitor looks really nice. good brightness and excelant color.

I really like this monitor. I had a 34 AOC which was good, but this LG 34" 21:9 is awesome. I got it for the price and it was 144hz. I do iRacing, and once I got this setup I went WOW what a difference with 21:9 view I will not go back. It took me a couple of days playing with the color and gaming settings. The picture display is not as good as my LG 2340 but not that far off thou. The only problem I have with this monitor and it is only reason I did not give it a 5 is the JOYSTICK button for setting the display and any other thing you might need to do. Outside of that, too me this is a GREAT monitor. l

I purchased this monitor about 6 months or so ago, so I've had it for a good long time at this point. When I first purchased the monitor, it came defective (through Amazon and I needed to return it. The backlight was dead near the middle through about 1/4 of the screen and it was completely unusable. I got a replacement, and since then it's been working great. There were a few things I was worried about when I was shopping for this monitor, so I'd like to touch on those for future buyers. First, the backlight bleed. Some people seem to get "lucky" and not have backlight bleed, and some people complain that the bleed is so bad that they can't live with it. I game frequently, and YES, there is backlight bleed. In my opinion, it's negligible. It's only near the corners, and even when playing a very dark game it isn't something that will pull your focus away from the action. If you look for the bleed while playing a dark game or watching a dark TV show or movie, you will see it - but if that's a dealbreaker, you just won't be satisfied with any monitor that has specs like these. When playing a game or watching something that is even moderately bright, you can't see the bleed even if you're looking for it. Second, the brightness. You can mess around with the settings and find a configuration that maximizes the brightness of the screen, and it's still not that bright. I don't like to have a glaringly bright monitor, so I haven't really noticed this except when I'm using my laptop near my desktop and realize the laptop screen is really quite noticeably brighter. Finally, the resolution. People will comment about how the resolution is way too low for a screen of this size. I disagree, but I understand that it's personal preference. My previous monitor was a 27" 16:9 LG monitor with 1080p resolution, so upgrading to this was just essentially like adding on more pixels to widen the screen (the ppi is identical to a 27" 16:9 1080p monitor). In conclusion: I think that if you're looking for a large, 21:9, curved monitor with 144hz refresh rate - this is it. The fact that you can even get a 144hz monitor at this size for this price is amazing, and I haven't had any trouble with it. Running 144hz on a screen this large can be taxing for your computer, but the lower resolution can help compensate, and I don't consider it a drawback. I deduct one star for the minor, but likely unavoidable backlight bleed, and the low maximum brightness. That isn't to say I dislike this monitor, it's just that if those factors are very important to you, I would urge you to consider your options!

I bought this awhile back, I was skeptical that it was going to be too big or it wasn't going to work as expected, but It was more than I imagined. It's got a lot of screen space since it's wide screen so I can multitask projects that I'm working on. It is also great for gaming. Imagine being able to see more than what you are capable of in a game. This is truly a great monitor!

I’ve had this monitor for maybe a couple months now and have had very little problems. It is 1080 p though so looking back I would recommend getting the higher resolution one and make sure you don’t grab the edges of the monitor when mounting because I think that made my screen bleed just a little bit.

For the price ( I purchased mine during prime day) there was no monitor even close to offering these specs. I firmly believe at the price I purchased this at there is no better option for a responsive ultra wide meant for gaming.

I am so glad I got this monitor! Having additional monitor real estate has made my job (software developer) so much easier. The LG software allows me to easily use this monitor as 2. Love it! Setup was a breeze, the menu system is intuitive and easy to use, and the ability to raise and lower the monitor is smooth and unexpectedly useful! I highly recommend this monitor to anyone thinking of adding a second (or third) monitor to their system!

Had dual 23", 60Hz monitors for a while. Great for productivity, but only okay for gaming. Upgrading to 34", 144Hz makes a world of difference! The oh-so-subtle curve of the screen is such a nice addition, especially in this price range. Monitor and stand and very sturdy pieces and are shockingly stable when assembled.

I was kind of worried about the quality of this monitor, because the price was so low compared to other monitors. This monitor feels durable, and the slight curve isn’t too much or too little.
