I have no complaints about this Tv that I bought in 2008. This tv still works as if new. I lost the remote but the Directv remote turns the tv on and off, volume up and down. Now that I plan to ditch it I need a replacement remote.

I bought this TV in 2013 to replace an LG that I had no intention of replacing until lightening struck it. It still performs beautifully and I have no complaints whatsoever. It keeps on doing everything it's supposed to do without a stumble. I am researching TV's to upgrade to 4k, HDR and all the newest features. LG here I come again.

I bought this TV over four years ago and haven't had any of the listed issues. Bought an acrylic cover to protect from young grandkids and adult son with autism that hits things randomly. Only complaints areI never found a way to add apps and wish it had Bluetooth for wireless headphones.

Bought the LG from New Egg on a great deal -- it wasn't even a refurb, but a new purchase. Way more 'SMART' than I needed it to be -- loads of apps, pain in the butt to set up and deal with finding cable channels. I just wanted it for NetFlix and Hulu, really. First the wireless capability stopped working, and then the wired networking stopped. I can use it with some outside device that reads a disc, but otherwise, it's a paperweight, now. Not particularly worth the price, even though it was cheap.

This TV seem like a wonderful option when I purchased it in August of 2013, I had a house fire and had to replace all of my electronics so when I found this smart TV in my price range to replace the damaged one I was beyond excited. It has proven to be nothing but a nuisance and frustration. It only connected to my internet via wifi some of the time, then LG sent out an update at the being of January 2013 and it never connected again and when I called in asking for assistance they basically told me I was lucky it ever connected. So liking the Smart Features I purchased several long DSL cables to hard wire it to my internet and continue using the internet features, this worked well for a few months until it just decided to stop connecting, I though maybe a cable had gone bad and replaced them over and over, nope not the cable. All during this time the TV would occasionally turn it self on and off. I remember looking into this and an update only receivable via the internet connection had allegedly fixed this issue. The random on and off happen so infrequently after that that I thought the issue had been repaired. However to my horror my TV has basically been unusable again turning itself on and off constantly with no way to connect to the internet I'm at a loss for what to do. Do I spend the money to repair it because of course after a year no warranty is available to me I've checked with LG or do I try and come up with the money for a brand new TV and hope to get more than a years use out of the new one and chalk this up as learning experience to never buy another LG product and tell everyone I know about the issues I've had.

I purchased the 39" TV because I needed that particular size. I knew nothing about LG products at the time and just figured the price was reasonable, just try it. The first moment I turned on the TV was extraordinary. The HD picture is so superb that I am still so impressed every time we turn on the TV. The sound quality is not full quality so I added an inexpensive sound bar from Best Buy, and it is close to perfect now. I will buy LG products whenever possible now based on this first LG purchase and the fine quality, features and value we receive with this TV.

I'm not a video geek. I can't speak to minor display artifacts and such. And I'm switching from a 27" CRT stereo TV to this flat-screen, HDTV with much bigger display. Generally, I find the viewing experience to be pleasant, the picture clear, the sound quite adequate. I feed my DVR, DVD player, and Wii in the various ports and I imagine that with a Smart TV and video streaming available, I'll never buy a Blu-Ray player. My only real complaint -- and it's a big one -- is that the TV is SLOOOOOW. When I turn it on, it takes 10s of seconds before it recognizes the Mute button. And smart features are both slow and sometimes awkward. To get from power off to listening to Pandora radio is something like 5 clicks (there is a completely unnecessary "Launch" button *inside* the Pandora app after I've selected it and a minute or so. Netflix is only a little better.

This TV is a great value. It looks great, lets you get rid of your Roku, and isn't too expensive. It's really made watching TV easier and better.

The TV is great; picture is bright and clean and interface is easy to use. My TV came with "spotlighting" a lighter area in the center of the screen that was noticeable during darker scenes. I called Customer Service and they connected me with a local service technician within about 15 minutes. The tech came out the next day, and ordered a new screen. He replaced it about three days later. That screen was defective, so he took the set back with him and offered me a loaner. Within about 5 more days, I have the set back and it's perfect. I'm very happy with the service and rapid response to my issue.

The product very user friendly and easy to operate. Has all of the latest technology and very good picture. Sound, color, and reception are excellent. Features allow utilization by all members of the household. Easy assimilation with other components and very attractive product.

Very easy to setup and a incredible picture, all for a reasonable price. If I had one minor issue with the TV, it would be the sound, but I had planned on purchasing a soundbar anyway, so it's really not an issue. That being said, I would highly recommend this TV!

I never thought a smart TV could be called a genius but this LG TV is so much more than expected. The setup was easy, the directions are easy to understand... but most of all, the picture quality is superb. The audio quality is a bit lacking but I understand why (speaker position). For the price... and actually any price... the overall quality of this TV is excellent.

This product with LED Back lighting has good off angle viewing performance. The 39" size fit our TV cabinet exactly right, most TVs were either 32" or 40" to 43". The Smart button and dual core processor connects quickly to the internet with the TV in a cabinet and the router at the other end of the house. The 1 Way, 2 Speakers are more than enough without a Sound bar.

This was my first smart tv. I bought a 39in for my bedroom and its the perfect size. I love it, so many features!! While watching regular digital cable the sound is great but watching a dvd the sound wants to get a little low, but a sound bar fixes this problem! Other than that, this is a Great tv!!!

The "Smart" features of this TV are nearly useless. There is no user interface that permits those features to be properly used. The manuals for this device are a total joke. One must call in for tech support in able to get enough information to figure out how to use the most rudimentary smart functions. There are no apps for Smart phones or iPads available for this device even though it is stated that one can use such a device to do so,

Bought this for spouse's room. Set up in less than 5 minutes, everything worked right out of the box, (real men don't need the manual) she is delighted with it, loves the remote. All the features came right up, and the picture is awesome!!

Pretty but slow
