It has very good features for the price in his moment. But after 2 years, the Led Lens start to fall (5 blank dots in screen) Netflix doesnt work (I find a work arround, launching from my Android Phone connected to the same Network) The internet navigation, its too slow now and many movie pages doesnt work. If you want a tv for more than 2 years, this is not the best option.

Clarity and Color is good but it is not crystal clear. I have had problems with the intermittent power on and off of TV Model 42LD450. I have issues something on the sound cause it wobbles when it is loud. Overall it is fine.

I bought this LG tv about 2 years ago and now that the warranty has expired, I have started to have problems with the screen. When I turn on the tv, there are now 4 vertical white lights illuminated in the middle of my screen. It is very annoying when trying to watch something. So very disappointed in this LG product.

We finally got around to upgrading the old bulky TV. Amzing difference. Picture is very clear, great sound. It was very easy to setup. My one minor gripe is that we only watch the apps so there are no channels tuned in so it a static screen whenever we turn the tv on. It would be awesome to turn on and go straight to the app screen. Was excited to see the optioon for a Skype feature. Thinking of grabbing the camera in the future.

I hv had my Lg tv several months now and its the Bomb! There is nothing negative I can say about this smart tv, I was a diehard Zenith n JVC fan but LG has all of my heart! So much so, that I now hv a LG top loader washing machine that's only a month (maybe old. I've already told my hubby I need the matching dryer! My guess is my house will soon b a LG House, lol. Great products so far n luv their svc reps that hv come 2 our house 2 do a chk on my nu washer. Getting my LG dryer n a few months, that will matrch my washer, caint wait!

Really like the picture quality of this TV. Set up was easy, but I did not connect to Wifi, instead connecting directly to my router. Love the features, the sound, the look and the price! The only downside is the poorly designed remote. It works, but not without having to look at the buttons unlike my Directv remote that you can use with your eyes closed.

We wanted a bigger television and it had been a while since we purchased one. We had a heavy, state-of-the-current-art LCD television that weighed a ton and wasn't as clear as we wanted. We also had a space problem, so this is the largest TV we can fit. We have been VERY impressed with the picture quality of this TV. Old Perry Mason episodes almost look like real life! Set up was fairly easy, although we have not yet been able to get our TV connected to our WiFi, unfortunately. Overall, we have been very pleased with this device.

This is the first TV I have bought in the last 5 years. It was easy to st up and my kids were able to set up their other equipment to communicate with the TV without any assistance.

Excellent product overall and a good value. Suggestion to manufacturer. The Product needs an Analog Audio Output as well as a Digital Optical. Users should be able to use earphones and speakers at the same time (so different users can listen at different levels at the same time.

Picture quality is excellent, and the smart features while new to me, are very easy to use! I can do so much with this TV, I'd never go back to an un-smart (dumb?) TV! I was able to get it at less than the suggested price, and feel that I got a steal! For me, the 42" screen is all I'd ever want. Thanks LG for an excellent, easy to use product!

I got this TV about two months ago: I paid less than the suggested price, so keep your eye out for sales. The interface for the Smart TV functionality is very easy to navigate, works well, and I've had no issues. I use this also as a computer monitor and haven't had the problem with text getting blurry or anything (just name the HDMI "PC" and most of the effects aren't running, I think). So, yeah, this one's pretty great.

I purchased the 42 in and I'm very pleased with it. Once I hook it up to my HDMI cable the picture is very clear. I didn't get the magic remote so I'll either get that next or a wireless keyboard for the internet. The main purpose for me was a great picture and great price for a smart TV.

In all honesty, I was hesistant to buy a Smart TV since it is something new to me. And all I can say is I do not regret buying this product for it is now "My Everything". I can connect all my mobile devices and have all the necessary apps I need on a daily basis from FB to Hulu to Netflix. The picture is clear as crystal and the sound is tremendous as if I already had a soundbar included in it. I love the style and design of the tv...so modern and sleek. I am loving this SmartTV and all of its features. Considering all it has to offer, the price is reasonable and affordable. It is a perfect fit for my bedroom.

I used Consumer Reports to research buying a 42" LED TV. This one was highly rated and now that I have it, I am in complete agreement with CR's recommendation. It has an excellent picture. The only feature that should be improved is the sound projection--having the speakers situated underneath does limit the projection of the sound into the room.

This TV replaced a 42in Plasma set that we had for several years. At the time, we had LCD, Plasma and LED sets in the house. This LED TV appears to give the Plasma a run for its money in picture clarity and colors. We are slowly replacing all TVs in the house with LED models for the power consumption savings.

I am 77 years old and have had many different kinds of TV's over the years. This is the best TV of all. I would have gotten a bigger one, but it wouldn't fit in the cabinet I have. I was particularly interest in the feature of being able to go online. I watch You Tube to get bread recipes since I make my husband a loaf of artisan bread almost every week. Watching on a computer works, but with eyes getting older the larger screen is so much better. Maybe someday you will come up with a way to print from the TV. That is the only thing that could make it better. Thanks.

Great picture, great sound, easy to set up & navigate through. Got this TV as a birthday gift over a month ago and I love it in my bedroom! I have it mounted on a stand because the stand I had it on originally wasn't big enough due to the "legs" being so far apart.

Hello this review is coming from a first time owner of anything this nice. Having said that this was a gift because i wouldn't have money for something like this for a while (I'm 23, thanks mom). So I've really enjoyed my time with this TV and would recommend it to anyone needing great vivid colors on a slick wide screen but most of them wouldn't be able to afford it. I think if it were cheaper I would have more of them but since it is so expensive I cant. So in a nut shell I think more people would buy this TV if it were cheaper or on sale for a short period, and not just on black Friday! Thanks for the amazing picture LG ,Shawn
