This tv is great bit it can't find the wifi sometimes, it's shuts off and on like ist possessed. Other than that the features are good. Would be nice to be able to download more apps

I bought this 2 years ago and the backlight went out and will cost more to fix it than I care to pay. I will not purchase another LG.

The unit only has 1 HDMI port and 1 USB port leaving no room for component upgrading once the cable co to install the HDMI is used there. There's virtually nothing you can do without either changing the home theater system or stay with what you have. Shouldn't be the other way around? I find myself at the mercy of the Television. It's goo for now but later I'm not so sure.

This product is made by the best manufacturing co in the world. The setup was so easy. Out of the box, and onto the table where it sets. Took only 10 - 15 minutes. Hook up was as easy. Disconnected the cables from my old TV, and hooked them up to my new LGTV. The system was operational in less than 10 minutes. I have been waiting for the perfect LGTV, and now I have it. The only thing that it was missing, is a dvd player. However, that is not a problem, because I already have a dvd/vcr player/recorder hooked up to my new LGTV. Thank you LG.

Some newer TV can get to complex with features this product is easy to navigate and provides a first class experience for its category it represents. I would recommend it for any to buy for the price and quality that you get.

I have owned several LG televisions in the past. This is by far the best one yet. I purchased three of them and I am very pleased with the quality of the picture. When you install a surround sound system to this television, the sound is unbelievable.

We purchased 47LE5400 in 2012, excited about the promised availability of certain features in the Netcast. Although there have been a couple software updates on our model, NONE of the features we were looking forward to were added. Fourms reveal that many other users had purchased the TV with the same expectations, and same frustrations. Othewise the TV has worked just fine.

I already had a 32" LG for my bedroom and when it came time to replace the living room TV, I knew it had to be LG, just how big??? Turns out the 42" is perfect for the small room, I love the HDMI inputs so I can hook it up to my computer to watch internet options on my TV. Another thing is that it is so light it can easily be moved. I'm am very, very pleased and will stick with LG in the future.

Bought for Xmas gift to wife. Light weight and easy to handle. Very easy to hook up. Enjoys except for ability to raise volume to her level of hearing at times. (Might be cable related issue. Had some difficulty in getting full screen display but help from LG support walked us thru that process. On some movies, screen size is not quite right. Top of head cut off otherwise Great picture clarity. Would definitely buy another LG TV to replace other sets in house.

I am older now with limited vision so the picture is not only the right size but clear as a bell. It is easy to operate and use the DVD (not confusing just hit a button). The remote is big enough and easy to see and handle, not too large and cumbersome like others. It is great to watch TV now and not have to fiddle with big remotes or switching to dvd and cable is simple and easy now.

only having one input for each type is somewhat annoying but the good picture and ease of use is more than compensatory. The sound is quite decent for an inexpensive tv and the next to no electric usage is a nice benefit.

This is our first HDTV for our living room and its fits our needs just fine. The picture is crisp and the sound is good. Just wish it had more hdmi inputs but noting a splitter could not fix..

One problem, which to me is significant but perhaps not to most buyers... the Audio is rather, but not severely limited in volume... I'm kinda' hard of hearing. This the real problem with this... there is no audio output jack! My old LG had one and I thought all decent TVs had one... nope, not here!

The only item I find wrong with this unit is that it could have more then one HDMI outlets. But it has preformed really well, picture is excellent.
