I've been building a file of MP4 videos that I'd planned to play on this TV's USB port. Early results are mixed. You have to be sure to use USB2 hardware not USB3 or higher. When it works it will play, in order, the movies on the USB2 dongle. But it's awkward to play selected movies out of the original order. Could use a "random" file player. I ended up building a huge external hard drive but still have to pick and scroll to paly selections. Recommend this process if you know it's limitations.

I bought this tv this summer; it wasn't easy to set-up and get the featuresloaded; of course, I am over 80 years old and am not a whiz at electronics. Now, with it set-up I am enjoying it.

I had a very good experience with this TV - picture was great, smart functions OK, until last month. The HDMI input control died and left me with a rather useless TV. Yes, the smart functions still work so it I wanted to watch Netflix and Hulu (no Amazon) the TV would be fine. But without HDMI inputs I can't use my Amazon fire stick or cable TV. In my research on the internet, there were numerous reports of the HDMI ports going out and leaving the TV rather useless. I did not attempt to bring in LG service because I did not want to pay for a service call and a replacement motherboard since there is no active warranty coverage. All of the aftermarket places that sold replacement motherboards were sold out. I will not buy another LG TV again.

Thanks, LG, we really love our tv. Bought this in 2010 and have had NO problems whatever. Found out that we could add a "dongle" to the tv to stream Netflix, it works perfectly. This might not be the latest "Smart TV" you have out but we love it. It will become the bedroom TV soon and we will purchase a new LG, with an even larger screen, for the family room. We've never seen a picture that compares with the one we get on LG from any other TV brand. Be smart, buy LG and get the best first!

I bought this TV January 11th 2011, by September 2011 the mother board shorted out on it. Took LG more than a week to fix ordering the wrong parts and what not. Then recently September 2012 same part that was replaced went out on it again, the warranty was out but luckily i purchased an extended warranty. Have had nothing but trouble with this TV, never again will I buy an LG TV. Nor will i recommend anyone to buy their TV's.

This is one of my best purchases every. If you are looking for a TV which combine quality, performance and features this is your LG TV. This beautiful LG TV has fantastic picture quality. When it flips to 1080 it is amazing. I primarly use netflix through the PS3 and it is good. Games are amazing with little to no lag. You can also watch blueray movies which really has a suprise for the clarity. I also like the remote, with just one click you can look at anything from weather to netflix. The only problem I have had is sometimes when not using the apps enough the program will close. Other than this it will be seamless operation. I recommend this to anyone looking for a affordable, performance with a great pictures. God Bless!

I got this awhile back and let me say she has been a great addition to the home. I use the PS3 on it for blu-ray and all I can say is WOW! I also use Netflix through the PS3 and the picture is lovely. It has so many easy connections and easy to reach without the worry of having it fall or get bumped. My friends love coming over and watching the games on it and playing video games, it is just a beauty. Great buy, and LG seems to care about your input, thanks LG. Life is Good.

I put off getting an HD TV for years until prices came down and selection became wider. I looked at a lot of HDtv's in this size and this had the best picture quality of any, even sets of larger sizes and LED units. Great features, internet capable--very happy with the purchase

THis television was the BEST I saw, and I researched alot and drove electronics section employees in depatment stores crazy as I would have them unplug and move tv's around to do side by side comparisons. For the price, it is an awesome tv! THe only gripe, (and it's not really that big a deal), is that the box picture showed the user enjoying Pandora off of Netcast. When I turned it on for the first time, no Pandora. With every update, no Pandora. Now I see that the tv is discontinued. So probably no Pandora. I hope they keep updating Netflix for the tv because every few months Netflix changes its programming up.

I purchased this TV approx. 1 year ago and have been very pleased with all its performance and features I only wish they would add more options / update with new features the netcast with things like hulu plus for instance and maybe some new widgets a great tv like this one should not be just left to die because of lack of updates and support.

I love this TV. I bought it about a year ago. Brought it home. Took about 10 minutes to get it up and running. Most of that time was taking it out of the box. I later got the wifi and that too was super easy to setup and use. Incredible picture and sound. Nice looking tv too. Even when it is off i find myself looking at it. I was thinking of getting one of the more expensive models and was a tiny bit upset i didnt get a more expensive models. But now that i have this one i dont know how it could be any better! Cant say enough good things about this TV.

This TV is a very good value for the price. The Netflix app works great. Picture quality on this set is very good during bright scenes but struggles a bit in darker scenes with a grainy appearance in the dark areas.

We absolutely love this tv. Its got everything we need and then some. The picture is incredible, the menus are user friendly and it keeps everything very organized. Right now we do not even have it hooked up to a HDMI cord, and the picture is just insanely good. I highly recommend this.

Purchased the 46LD550 for my bedroom and it's the best purchase ever. this TV is excellent. I enjoy the Netcast feature which brings the internet directly to my TV. No other media device required to watch Netflix, VuDu, and other. I just wished it had Pandora widget. I haven't had no other cons. I connected the TV directly to my wired network and came right up. I can go wireless if I want to.

I bought this TV about a month ago, and have been VERY happy with it! The picture has outstanding clarity. The menu is very easy to use. Set up was a breeze, even the internet connection went smoothly! I love all the apps that came pre-installed, and use the Netflix app all the time. I couldn't be happier with this TV! I love having the internet feature...I only wish there were more internet sites to go to like Hulu and many more instead of just having Netflix, Cinema and a couple of others. This is my 4th LCD TV that I have added to the house. I thought the picture was good at the store but when I got it hooked up to my digital HD cable box, WOW. This was the easiest set up and love the weight, the swivel feature and very excited to get the wireless function set up. This is one TV you will never be disappointed with. Save yourself hundreds with the same features with this one.

This TV is nice out of the box after you take it out of torch mode,but after a little tweaking the picture is almost like 3D. Very happy with all the user adjustments that can be made.

I am a long time fan of LG products I have owned several of their phones and never had issues as well as one of their blue-ray players which has amazed me since day one. Even with that my decision wasn't made without numerous times at the store visually comparingall the 1080p a160hz and my final decision was made on that. It really the finest screen for all times of day and rooms not to mention amazing sound so take it from me this is the one you want.

This is by far the best TV I have owned. I own a 32" LG model, so I knew this was a good purchase. I had it setup within minutes of getting it home thanks to the Picture Wizard. The picture quality is great; much better than other TV's I was looking at. I love the NetCast feature. We are watching Netflix on it almost everyday. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone who is in the market for a new one.

I highly recommend this TV. Not only was it easy to set up and start enjoying, but it looks great as well. The price for the features compared to other brands was outstanding; I don't know how they do it for that! I wasn't concerned about the sound quality of the internal speakers because we have externals, but we watched it for a few weeks before setting up the speakers and really can't complain. The picture quality is so amazing, we want to watch it all the time! LOL
