Love this TV, I've have it since 2014. I havn't used the 3D much on it honestly. But the quality of the picture is great, the smart remote is fun to use and the TV is a perfect size for our house.

I bought this a little over 10 years ago now and it was one of the greatest TV's I've ever owned. I would definitely invest in one of these again. Sadly, my tv gave out today after heavy use and 10 years of service to me and my family.

Greatest flat screen I have ever owned. Most cannot connect to the internet, but this one does and it is always smart. It has a multitude of apps (such as WWE Network, Amazon and Netflix) as compared to most other models. I am however surprised and sad that this tv is no longer offered or available. I have only had to replace the power board in the last 3.5 years that I have owned it. Otherwise a great purchase.

I have had my TV for 3 years. I have not had any problems with it. I love the fact I can turn anything I watch into a 3D event. The only thing I question is the sound. It does not blast. At about 25 it does not get louder. Not sure if that is normal or not. it also does not connect to just any wireless. it has to be an LG wireless. I am looking for a speaker now that I can use across the room. Any suggestions? I would like it to be wireless. I used to watch 3D films on the set that were part of the programs, but those disappeared recently with an upgrade.

I bought this TV from Best Buy, It was recommended as best quality TV '' Smart TV". I have problems with this TV exactly after two months of use. The wireless stopped working. I have contacted LG and did replace the wireless board and still not working. So, I gave up on that feature and I bought chrome cast instead. The HMID ports are loose and easy to break. I had this problem when I connect and disconnect the HMID cable. I believe, this LG TV is poorly designed. If you want to buy a Smart TV, Please do not waste your money on such TVs .

We bought this LG TV on Dec 28, 2013, here it is Sept 1, 2016. This TV isn't even 3 years old and it went out yesterday!!! NO PICTURE. It just went black..could hear the sound but nothing else. We tried everything, checked all connections, the remote, tried reprogramming etc. NOTHING worked. I would expect a TV by LG (Or ANY manufacturer to last longer than this! I recently bought an LG wash machine...maybe I should have bought the extended warranty! My daughter bought an LG refrigerator and had nothing but trouble! I cannot believe this has happened! When I look on line, this appears to be a COMMON problem with LG TVs. An LG product will never cross my threshold again. I am sooo disgusted. Of course, warranty is expired.

We purchased this set and have used it for numerous hours daily and have only experienced two problems. The first, I'm not sure if it's even an 'LG thing' or just the Netflix software but each time we select Netflix, we have to log on. And even that is somewhat intermittent. Once every five or six times it will retain the login and password and load automatically but much more often than not, full login is required. The second thing is that it would turn on but only to a blue screen. Then it wouldn't turn off without unplugging. We checked for upgrades and then, after about a week, the problem disappeared. That was about two months ago and it hasn't done it since. Other than those, it's been a great set.

I have tried repeatedly to use the browser within the smart tv but the remote has a mind of its own. Using the keyboard is comber some at best. It will type multiple characters regardless how careful you are.

Have had to have technical repairs twice now for power and networking issues. Bought extended warranty as I am afraid of future problems. Have also recently seen dead pixels appearing on the right side of the screen.

This is my first HDTV. I wanted to purchase one that would fit my entertainment center and this was perfect. I was always tech savvy, but these new technologies can be confusing until someone shows you how to set them up. After I was shown it became much easier to use all the functions. I now use Netflix daily along with You Tube. There are still many functions that I have not explored but I love the picture and sound quality. I would highly recommend this SmartTV!!!

Although the 3D function on this TV is great to have, the normal picture is so good that the 3D function is not really needed. My wife has remarked several times about how the picture shows even slight skin imperfections on different people. As far as Brand recognition and reliability goes, LG has been installed in most of my Drs offices, and their pictures are excellent also. I will definitely buy this brand again.

Worked very well for about 4 months and then it would no longer go to the dashboard. The tech tried for nearly 2 hours to get it to work but was unsuccessful. My praise goes to LG for standing by their warranty. I had no issues with customer service and the tech, Mike, was awesome! Unfortunately, I had to return the TV to LG for a refund. Let me go on record saying that I am a proud LG owner. I already owned 2 LG non-smart TVs and replaced this one with another LG non-smart TV. This simply may have just been a lemon.

The quality of the sound and picture on this TV is excellent. However, I'd have to give the GoogleTV interface a 3.5 out of 5. It's slow, comes with all sorts of useless apps, some of which you can't get rid of, and isn't compatible for sharing through an iPhone, at least not as far as I've been able to figure out. I get that--Google and Apple are competitors--but I'm still disappointed in that. Also, the Google Chrome app is a bit sub-standard. Back to the good though. Like I said, great quality, great sound, easy to use, and an overall good purchase that I'm happy with.

I like my tv but it has too many apps in order for you to use it you have pay. run out of memory space quick. I would love to have a button to go from web browser to tv without loosing what you are watching on the internet. my only smart tv don't know if there are others with these features?

This 47" LED flat screen was super easy to set up when we got it home. It delivers a crisp picture, especially good on HD (high definition) channels. Lots of Smart features, but it takes some practice to be able to find and navigate them easily with the remote. Our previous 40" LED flat screen (different manufacturer, bought in 2008) was much more expensive - this LG model has many more features at a much better price. Overall we've been very satisfied with this model.

Funny how I got a review request right after my TV died. Turned out LG service is really good and it was an easy fix. TV started to turn off and on by itself, then totally wouldn't turn on, just flicker on/off. When the technician came, he just replaced a small internal cable that LG new they had faulty batches with. So besides that, the TV has more features than most will use, love the ease of internet connected, being able to link up your ipad to it, and it's fairly easy to learn how to use everything. At the store when compairing the picture vs other like TV's, we thought this was up there towards the top end. It was on sale for $150 off to be honest, and that helped in our decision. Don't really use the 3-D feature, so can't comment on that.

I had finally decided to get rid of my old tube style television and began researching my next box. I had a number of requirements, such as 3D, minimum 120mhz, LED, "Smart"...things like that. I found two manufacturers whose product fit my wants and I set about deciding which to purchase. While at a nearby electronics store, I viewed both makes. While the images were very similar, I decided on the LG model, as the passive 3D system was not only more comfortable, but it looked pretty good. Next was what size did I want? I had a previously decided due to the small area of my apartment, a 42" system would work best for me. So I asked the sales rep for the 42" product and was informed they were out of stock. I located the product online and was about ready to purchase it when I noticed the 47" model was well within my budget and decided the extra viewing area would be nice. When the television arrived, I had no problem putting together the stand and connecting the TV to my blu-ray player and cable box. Then came the moment of truth...I turned the television on and was blown away by the quality. Having only watched TV on CRT televisions ( I do have an flat screen monitor - 720p ). The image was very crisp compared to the old CRT. I then fired up the blu-ray, switched to 3D, put on the glasses and sat back enjoying every moment of the movie. It has been several weeks since I first turned on my LG 47LA6200 television and I still come across moments which totally impress me...both through the cable and the blu-ray player. When I finally decided to attempt to connect to the internet, it worked the first time with no problem. Although the pages load a bit on the slow side, it is still enjoyable checking things on the net with a 47" screen. There is absolutely nothing regarding this product I have a complaint about. Friends who have dropped by and I showed the 3D capability of the television had to be dragged away screaming and yelling. As for me, it is time to watch Planes in 3D. Oh...I recently had the cable wiring in my apartment replaced and when I turned on the TV to catch up on the news, I had to blink my eyes a couple of times. I thought the cable view was extremely good before the wiring was replaced. It is now outstanding. And yes, I was once again blown away by my LG 3D television.

I bought this tv for my husband's birthday. So far he is loving it a lot. It has very good picture and sound quality. He mainly uses youtube & Netflix. Which is perfectly fine and have no problem so far. In order to fully experience this smart tv, i would suggest to buy lg magic remote with it.
