has excellent picture and has passive 3d 120hz so 3d uses 2 images at 60 hz had this tv for 13 years aprox and it finaly died "crys" but luckley i had bought some spare internal boards off ebay like 8 years back from a tv that had a broke screen so its back together with new mainboard and power supply hopefully for another 12 years . its a amazing noone can make a 3d tv anymore thsi tv picrure rivalks even the new 4k tvs we have 2 4k and this one still has better picture to look at in standard mode , lg stoped supporting the tv so now need a streaming stick to make use of streaming but a tivo streaming stick and its still awesome..

I've had this TV for over 10 years now. I bought it when I was working on 3D films and wanted to be able to see my work in true passive 3D with my Oakley 3D glasses. It has never let me down and even though I don't use it much anymore, it's real gem and hard to get rid of because of how good it is.

When I bought this TV, I was still single. Now I am a dad of two kids. Picture is still great. Still have fun with the kids watching 3D movies on it. Too bad 3D is slowing dying. This TV lasted longer the whole 3D TV thing. Remarkable.

This tv has been on 12 hours or more a day for 6 years. This TV was originally in my living room for 4 years and then was moved to our bedroom when I purchased a 60 inch LG 4K tv. This tv has been left on for weeks on end and has no issues. Not one dead pixel. Now the 60 inch is coming to the bed room and the original 47 inch is going to my son. I wonder how long this amazing tv will last.

I bought this TV brand new. It worked great for 2 years. The TV was very gently used. I was watching the TV and Bam! Done. The TV totally died. I've tried everything. It will power on and quickly turn off. :(

This tv has been great, and the picture looks outstanding. My two gripes are 1 the cpu went out 4 months into owning it, but thankfully LG was very courteous and replaced it for no charge, and 2) the packaging claimed it has a 120hz refresh rate and it does NOT. There is no option I can find to enable it and it never has run at 120hz for any of my gaming consoles or blu-rays

This TV is the best I've seen refurbished, the price was very low for the quality of the product and the 3d worked wonders, very easy setup. After register it I can do a software upgrade to be completely updated. Highly recommended to others buyers.

I bought this TV for a great price. Eventually a Pixel went out. LG came by set up a replacement and that very same week the Pixel problem as well as speakers were fixed. Now I have a Vertical Shadow Line Problem and have submitted a service form for this issue to be fixed and I expect LG will! Great Service!

Was really looking forward to receiving this tv but was surprised that the advertisement was misleading. TV is advertised as 120hz yet watching the TV its clear that it isn't ( very juddery image ) Also advertised as "TruMotion" yet it isn't anywhere in the settings. Research before buying is all I can say.

We took it out of the box, mounted it on an existing wall mount, hooked it up, turned it on, and have enjoyed it ever since. We made absolutely no adjustments to picture or anything--it has excellent color, and the 3D feature is most enjoyable--especially on various sports telecasts. An excellent TV, for the investment. It replaced an earlier LG, and we have another LG at our 2nd home.

I enjoy having options for 2D vs 3D television when movies offer it and this tv shows 3D defined and right at ya. It's very enjoyable to watch. 2D television, after tweeking picture modes, does have picture sharp quality. I also have not had any other problems with any of the other features yet either that I was looking for in my television. I am very pleased. But I am curious why this model is now discontinued?

I had to exchange it for a different one but I am still happy with it but the sound is not great. I use a receiver so it's ok but beware without a sound bar or another sound system you will be disappointed.

I love this product even though I did have to exchange it for a new one. There is a lemon in anything and everything in life. Value is great the upscale from 2D to 3D is decent but only for a few things mostly if they are put in 3D but you don't have the 3D copy otherwise I am not sold on that feature.

This would be a good set if only it were advertised properly and the user knew what they were getting into. This television allegedly boasts a 120 Hz response time whereas, in fact, it is a 60 Hz setup, and the "120 Hz"-like effect is supposed to be achieved through software interpolation that LG calls "Trumotion". On other LG sets, the effect is actually decent. On the LM4600, the feature is apparently activated by default at the factory at the lowest possible setting. Given the extremely juttery image upon turning it on the first time, I doubt that Trumotion is actually installed on the set at all and, for some reason, there is no on-off toggle available to the user. Not even the firmware update seems to solve the problem; In fact, I think the image has looked worse since then, and there is no option to rollback software without invalidating the warranty. Moreover, LG costumer service wasn't very helpful after four phone calls. All in all, the 47LM4600 is a blatant case of false advertising, and I am partially to blame for not being adequately informed prior to buying this product, as I believed LG to be a reliable brand. I would only recommend this TV only to someone who is looking for a good 60 Hz, 3D-capable model and doesn't mind a traditional juttery image. Just be mindful to NOT update the firmware should you choose to purchase it. My first and foremost recommendation, though, is that you spend your time and hard-earned money on something else. I put the "value" rating at three stars because I felt that, because of the relatively low cost, the television is indeed worth as much. If only it were advertised as such.

my LCD TV broke after only 5 years. So I shopped around and decided to upgrade to an LED tv as the product has had better reviews than the LCD TV's on the market. After my search, I decided to buy the 47" LG 3D LED tv. I'm very pleased with the quality of the picture. The only comment I can make is the sound quality. I will end up buying a sound bar to enhance the volume as different stations set their programs to very low volume. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a great buy, but get the sound bar also.

At first, when I turned it on I was not happy with the image, it was dull and dark, so after calling customer service at LG they told me its because the settings are in Energy Savings, to turn it off and change the image to Vivid - and I love it, I haven't seen any 3D yet. Of course, the sound is not hot, but that's expected of flat screens. I'm getting a sound bar. But the TV is great - I'm very happy with it. I also added the direct TV wireless connections, so its like a smart TV.

My wife and I recently upgraded our living room fireplace mantle to provide a place for a television. We searched around for a television and found the LG 47LM4600. We compared the picture quality and price to other models and there was no comparison. We did not notice until we had gotten it home that is was a 3D television too. This will be handy later with our son who is now 1 year old. This feature was unexpected based off of the lower price. Great value and quality! We highly recommend this product!

We were able to adjust almost every feature and setting on the TV! We can't wait to buy and hook up a Blu-Ray player, as it even makes movies played on our old DVD player look great. We watched the Super Bowl on it and saw the game better than we could in a bar or other large gathering! We shopped around, and this was by far the best value in it's class! Given the price, and the deal we received @ Sears, it was a fantastic buy.
