Lasted me 12 years- was a solid tv, appreciated it for what it was. Didn't need/want a smart tv at the time since my peripherals were better than anything any smart tv could provide. Upgraded to the LG 50QNED80 today. Here's hoping to get another 12 years out of the product.

I've had this TV since like 2013 and it's always been great still to this day. I have a newer LG 4K TV that I love that is in my living room and I put this TV in my room and I still think it's a great picture quality

I bought a LG tv 12 years ago. It is durable. Works great except sound is going after all the years. Picture still great.

I’ve had this TV for about one year and amazed the picture quality every time I watch. I have other generations of LG televisions and you can see the progression of picture quality. This device required some service during the warranty period which was handled fairly easy. Glad to own this TV.

My wife and I have owned this model since 10/30/2013. This tv has stood the test of time very well. We have had no major issues with it at all. There are only two hdmi ports, which leaves those with multiple devices in a pickle. The audio is comparable to other TVs on the market. That is to say, the audio is a bit flat & would benefit from the use of a sound bar. the picture (the reason we buy TVs anyway) is great for a 6-8 year old model. The ONLY issue i have noticed is some severe motion blur & static when scenes have a large amount of noise (snow, sandstorms, lightning, anything with lots of motion). That is my only complaint. There is no banding, dimming issues, or any other screen flaws outside of what I mentioned above. It is also great for gaming.

I have had this tv for about a month and I still am amazed at the high quality of video no matter what the source is. The tv was very easy to set up , the parameters were easy to glide they. The only thing that bothers me is that I can't sync the audio with the video. There is a latency with the audio. I have tried to adjust it but the audio lags behind the video. Is there a fix for this?

There is a lot of wash settings and I love everyone. It is so big inside I can get a extra large of clothes inside washer. I love that it does not waste water. The delivery set up was great.

I bought this in 2011. Have gamed for long hours and watched many hours of Netflix etc. This TV is still running perfectly like the first day I bought it. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Found this TV to be perfect in size for my rec room. Has good clarity, color and sound. Have had this TV for 1 month now and am enjoying my TV watching in luxury ! It was very easy to assemble and to carry into the house too as it is light. It also fit easily into the car back seats. It is all preprogrammed so it was easy to set up the channels with the remote. It comes with a DVD which gives you online instructions too.

We love the picture on this TV. The clarity is exceptional! We have cable and it is comparable to HD. The menu settings take a little getting used to but other than that, We love it. And once again, we were amazed at the picture on this TV.

Pros: nice picture, good price, thin, narrow bezel border around screen. Cons: When wall-mounting, rear-facing ports (including hdmi) are awkward and hdmi require 90degree hdmi cables. Shiny front bezel has "waves" in it in certain light, like the plastic is being distorted. Nice tv for the price. Looks cool in most lighting.

I bought this TV 6 months ago and since the very first day I set it up, I fell in love with this TV. I bought this LG TV for 2 main reasons, 1) I wanted an LG tv because the quality is awesome and 2) the thinness of this TV. The entire back of this tv is less than an inch thin which makes it look incredibility stunning. The quality of the picture is awesome too, I use this tv mostly for playing xbox 360 on and the HD of the tv is stunning. The 120 HZ really helps with playing fast paced games. Another cool feature about this tv is the touch touch buttons on the tv itself. Not many tvs have that feature, but it's really cool and helps keep the slim design of the tv. One of my favorite features of this tv is the TURN ON timer. You can setup the tv to turn on at a certain time everyday on a certain channel. So if you need to get up at 7am for work through the week, you can have it setup to turn on at 7am on your favorite channel to help you wake up in the morning. The only bad thing about this tv is the sound. I agree with the above reviews when they said there is a rattle when you turn the tv up too loud. I think the reason behind that is because the tv is made out of a metal and not plastic. This rattling can be annoying, but since I bought the LG soundbar for my tv, I don't have the rattling issue.

This is a great value buy if you have a home theater system. We love the picture and the features for the price, but the built-in speakers are some of the worst I've ever experienced. Their is a tinny rattle whenever the bass hits in a movie or a song. On the bright side, our frustration led us to get a bluetooth soundbar, also from LG, and we've never been happier with our home audio experience.

We purchased this set for use in our new home (along with all the other 'kitchy' stuff the better half wanted). I am very impressed with the ease of set-up along with the picture and operational quality. When the Time-Warner Cable installers came they commented on what a great picture this set has. They said that they see new HD sets every day and the are continually impressed with the quality picture and features LG sets provide. [There was a ball game being broadcast at the time, and these fellas took a little extra time to make sure everything was perfect.... and had to watch the game for a while just to make sure!] We have had the set for just over a month and have had no issues. I would heartily recommend LG equipment to anyone wanting/needing such.

Picture is crystal clear right out of the box. Plenty of settings to adjust image and sound as needed. Other features can be set up or adjusted as well but you can read the LG website for the complete list. Sound would probably be better if speakers were not rear/down firing, but that is common on all LED TV's built today by any brand. Volume can go plenty loud without distortion for basic TV watching. If you like the added sound punch you can easily add a sound bar or run the audio through your home theatre or receiver. I've owned LG computer monitors and TV's for many years now. Parents and brother own them as well. Great products, great features, excellent quality, and great prices. You can't go wrong if you purchase LG.
