Easy to navigate

I have this model tv. Never had a problem with it until 2 days ago. My Plex app stopped working. I?ve uninstalled and re installed the app, reset my router and the tv but it still does not work. It says the tv update is current with software version 03.10.11 but other LG have a different version. Also when I go on the Internet the videos will not play on you tube keeps saying needs up date. Im at a loss on what to do. I?ve searched all over the internet to fix this problem and nothing.

Problem

I bought your LG tv from Wal-Mart. The date on the label shows it was made in 2016 so I bought it after after 2016 on New years eve meaning I have only had it maybe 4 years and it is broken. The volume goes up and down on its own and it turns itself off. There are no settings on it to make it to this. Also when trying to use the remote the tv has a mind of its own. The controls on the tv are out of control. The menu comes up but I can't stop on a specific thing to try to figure out the problem. So my question is, what can you do to fix this problem? If this happens with every 4 year old LG tv then I need to rethink what I buy next time.

Looks great in the bedroom

The picture looks good, the sound is great for in the bedroom. It has an autoawake feature if you want so that you can wake up to a certain station on certain days at a specific volume which is nice on the weekends. If it weren't for being a "dumb" TV I would recommend this TV to anyone. For now I use a Roku to get apps on the TV.

Excellent picture qualities.

We bought this about a month ago and it meets all of our expectations.of what a quality T.V. should be. Picture quality is excelent and terrific sound.

Clearest picture and the sound is excellent!

I bought the lg tv week ago and am planning on all my TVs being this brand because there is not a better quality in a tv.

confused

One of the ports went out just after the warrantee expired. Having issues as some times the television has to be unplugged for it to work. LG customer service sucks! No help at all. trying to find out if the on/off switch is bad.

Fire hazard

Had the blinking screen that appears to be common on this model. Upon dismantling to replace the led strips it was very obvious that there was a fire inside of the tv. The diffuser paper had a 4 inch burn hole, the plastic light filter was black and melted. This is the 55LF6000UB made in 2015.

Started off fine...

Received the LG 55LF6000 TV as a Christmas gift three years ago and just like almost every other LG owner my screen started flashing on and off. Sound still works. Just the screen flashes black and on again. Can’t even do anything about it because I received it as a gift except buy a new TV or get it fixed which is the same price as a brand new TV. Very frustrating!

It was a good tv UNTIL!

Faulted out after only 3 and a half years. Prior to that the picture was getting blotchy because the cooling fan sucks dust into the tv from the air in the room. The dust particles coat the inside screen and the picture just gradually gets darker. Then the tv faulted out.

died after 3 years

Like so many others here, my TV started blinking like a strobe light a few days ago and is now completely useless after being purchased just over three years ago. I will NEVER even consider buying another LG TV, and don't bother with your generic response, because we both know that nothing will be done about it since this piece of junk is out of warranty. I would rate this zero stars if it were an option ....

3 years, and no longer works. Not happy.

Bought at Walmart. Very excited when we go it! Love LG and most of what they make. However, 3 years of normal use - flicker. All the way, all day. And.....to fix it cost as much as the TV. Very unhappy.

Flashing issues with Screen

I am so disappointed with this purchase. I have a LG TV that was purchased back in 2009 that still works just fine so I got this model and within 2 years it had the screen flashing but I had a warranty it was fixed and here it is again the same thing happened again. I use the 2009 model way more as its in my bedroom.

3 years old and the screen started flashing

Literally just a year after the warranty expired the screen began to flash. I called the TV repair shop and it cost me the same price to buy a new TV as it would be to fix this TV. Also this is not an easy fix for a single person to do on a larger TV. So I literally had to break down and buy a new television. Planned obsolescence is a thing apparently an LG prefers to be known as a very wasteful electronic.

No picture and broken HDMI port

My dad, 79 years old, retired veteran, on fixed income, bought this TV with extended warranty. Just after the extended warranty period the screen flickered and went blank. While troubleshooting the HDMI port broke. Now a total loss. Should have lasted for 12 - 15 years. What a shame. Hey LG, let's help this guy out with free service or replacement. What say you?

Light bulb

The TV has been good to me other then the fact that the sound quality is not good. But the problem that I'm having right now is that the TV keeps flaking off and on. So I'm thinking may be is one of the light bulbs, and if it is does anyone knows how many light bulbs comes in it. because I'm planning to repair.

Shadowy on White background

It's an ok TV. But whenever there is a white background, there is a pattern of shadowy circles in the background that covers the entire TV. It's been this way ever since we bought it. No amount of changing the lighting or settings helps the issue.
