I bought this in January 2014, and it was great. Didn't blur during video games, and had great picture for movies and sports. A week ago (5 years after purchasing new), the TV stopped working with only sound coming out. This seems to be a common theme. When turning on, the LG logo shows for one second, and then the tv goes black. It was not mounted, as I used the stand. Would not recommend buying 2nd hand, as they are due to break soon.

Product broke within 5 days of the end of warranty.Repaired(expensive)and broke again after 7 months.Not a very good value for the amount of money spent on this TV now boat anchor.

We love our new 55". The picture sand sound is amazing. The only feature we miss is the potential for an external headphone jack. We manage our time and producitvity in such a manner that requires this. Lacking this feature, we had to rig up a chain series of several adaptors that cost us a lot of time and cash.

Didn't last a year before needing repairs. Repair only lasted for about 19 months.Have owned several Tvs and most lasted 5 years or more before or without any problems.I will never purchase a LG smart tv again.They seem to be smart enough to know how long the warranty lasts.

Had this TV for 3 yrs and the picture went out on it. Found out from online reviews this is a common problem with LG TV's. Don't waste your money!!!!

Love the quality of the picture on my LG. Lots of extras with this internet connected unit. My only complaint the the entry of codes and searches. It is too easy to press a button that exits you out of the process and you have to start over again. The placement of the Smart button should be changed.

Sama as so many people here. one day, the tv just wouldn't turn on, It owed flash an image of the logo or water was coming in through the input, and then it would not turn on. Won't be buying another LG product.

Best smart tv for the value. Only thing I didn't like is that idtdidn't come with a Smart Remote. Seems that if your tv is a smart tv, you'd include the smart remote with it.

I really enjoy this TV a lot. I had to turn off all the trumotion garbage in order to eliminate the soap opera effect (does anybody really think this looks good? The colors are great and the smart function is nice as well. The only issue I've had is it sometimes loses connection to the WiFi. Overall I'm happy with this TV.

Excellent picture quality, the remote is poorly designed every time i try and toggle with directionals on key board and inevitable hit the blue button and an exited. Therefore I almost never us the internet other than simple point and click netflicks/Hulu.

The easy to follow guide made set-up a breeze. The quality of the picture blew me away. The Smart TV features are awesome. The style, with the narrow bezel, is very chic. I put this one in the master bedroom and now I'm hoping to get one with an even bigger screen for the family room very soon.

Not so easy to set up using standard remote. Did not come with Magic Remote. Need that to do many of the functions. Other reviews complained about the sound but we find no problems with the sound. We are quite pleased with our new LG TV.

Before we purchased our TV, we did quite a bit of research, and this TV really lives up to the LG name. The picture quality is great and compared to our other TV (32" LCD) the sound quality is excellent!!

All in all a good tv for the price. We appreciate all the features. We did expect a clearer, crisper picture. We would have also liked it if the tv could swivel in the base a few inches for better angled viewing.

Have only had this tv for 2 months but would highly recommend it. It was easy to set up and use. We did not buy it for the Smart feature but because it fit in the space we have; stand fits on a narrow mantle. Great picture as well.
