I buy only LG TV's I have a 32 inch that lasted 10 years and more ... I bought a 50 inch lasted 3 years still going strong ... These are the only TV's that have great color and sharp images and others ... The other brands suck Just go look in store were tvs are and look at all the tvs to see the clarity of lg over others you can see for your self lg will not disappoint .....

I bought this TV less than a month ago and am pleased with it. This one replaces a 43? LG that I bought 20 years ago that I have not had a problem with yet after all this time. I will relocate it to another room in my home. The only thing I don?t like with the 50? is the remote with that pointer function, but I can live with it. Picture is great, and glad that I upgraded to a 50? for my bedroom. I thought it might be to large because my bedroom is small but it looks great.

The LG brand has never disappointed me when it comes to electronics. The TV quality was great as well as the sound quality. It's a little lighter than I thought it was going to be when I initially picked it up. I use my TV to watch Netflix and different movies and the overall quality is very good. Definitely worth the money.

My wife brought this tv home as a surprise, wasn't sure at first but wow, the picture is the very best I have ever seen in a tv this size, it has so many awesome features and the Q menu is extremely easy to use, my 13 year old son figured it out faster than me. The sound is great, I would highly recommend this tv. My last tv wouldn't work with the settings on my directv remote, you had to keep sliding the selector from satellite to tv when you wanted to use the different features, this tv linked right up to the remote. The user interface for the different inputs is very easy to understand its all done in a huge menu on the screen, it has pictures of each input and the inputs that you have something plugged into are highlighted. Would own another LG if this one ever needs to be replaced.

i own lg appliances, but this is my first lcd display purchase from the company. this is an excellent quality product as i would expect. The display is easy to set up, color rendition is perfect, there's no "stuttering" during fast paced action scenes, and it has lots of interface options. it's cool to be able to use it for web surfing, as well as playback from my hero3 cam too.

We waited a long time to purchase a large screen flatpanel tv. This was our first choice and have not regreted it at all. Crystal clear picture, easy to setup and use. Have had this flatscreen for over 2 months and would recommend this to everyone.

I've used my new LG LED 50SL S400 HDTV about a month now, and find it to be an excellent HDTV. We use an HDTV antenna for service, and LG's tuner does a fine job in pulling in at least 46 channels - so I have a large selection of channels to choose from, plus with the HMDI cable, I can hook up my laptop, and turn it into a Smart TV, and have way more access to shows via the internet. thanks LG for making such a fine product. The picture is great looking, and the sound is also great..I couldn't have spent my money any better on a different brand. Life is good with LG.

Even though I'm not a technology savy individual. I asked friends who are and there opinion of this model was positive. It was easy to assemble (minimal required and install. The picture quality and sound is excellent. Because of the 50" screen size I feel like I'm in the front row of a drive in theater when I watch it from my sofa. I highly recommend this product. it was a great value of the price.

This is my first time buying a lg television and i must say it was well worth it!. Beautiful vivid picture with many user options in the menu to adjust to your liking.The usb connection is able to play almost every video format icluding MKV! Surprisingly the built in speakers are quite loud considering i haven't installed the home theater system yet. I have this tv connected to my PS3 for gaming and watch netflix and the picture is flawless i highly reccomend this to everyone looking for a good tv!

Bought in Jan. 2013 based on reviews and comparison in store shopping. Everything I was looking for- great picture and better sound/speakers than previous thin screen TVs. I did add a safety bracket strap because it is wobbly in the base on a cabinet.

Although I did a lot of research before buying, I was concerned about making this decision. We couldn't be happier. It is our first flat screen. The ease of setup, etc. was great. The HDTV picture is crisp. We have had it for a month. Watch sports (football and golf) has been a great experience. Our old tv was a antique joke. If this set holds up for the long run, we will consider it a great pruchase.

Was originally looking at a 47" from another company and saw the 50" from LG. The LG 50" had a better picture and the price was in my budget. I have had the TV for a little over a month and with NFL Playoffs and the Super Bowl the TV has been eactly what I was looking for!

I was looking to get a bigger TV for our living room, and found a great deal on this model. A family member has an LG TV they really like, so I figured it would be pretty good. I spent a short amount of time researching brand name products, then I went to a few stores to compare prices, style, and picture quality and LG was clearly the front runner. Based on all of those quality's, LG was basically the best choice, I'm very satisfied, and from here on out, I'll set back and fully enjoy my 50" LG TV LS4000
