We bought this TV 10 years ago & it is almost as fantastic today as then. It doesn't have the latest connections or up to date tech, but the picture is still vibrant, it has excellent off-axis viewing, the resolution and contrast are terrific, and it is one of the best audio/visual components that I have ever bought.

This was the only TV I've cried when it was damaged. The screen had some vertical lines and then it didn't turn on again. This was a 3D TV and it had a 5-year warranty but it was damaged when its coverage expired. I actually felt a lot when I gave it to a person who was going to try to fix it. It wasn't a 4K TV but it looked amazing especially in 3D with passive glasses.

I am completely satisfied with this purchase. After much research I selected this set and received a perfect picture and the perfect size. Of course the OLED picture is the best and even the curved screen contributes! It may be just an illusion but there seems to be a depth of field without using the 3D feature.

We have had the LG 55" O led TV now for 2 weeks. It is the best purchase you ever made. It is like watching 3-D television. When we go back to watch all TV is like going back to black-and-white hero

Wasn't as pleased as I had thought. Cannot get the color right. The fact that I can't get HBO is very frustrating

After five tears of use just when the warranty expired it doesn?t turns on. I have been trying to contact lg to see how they can help me repair my television set with no success. It?s very sad because my loves it. LG55EC9300 tv is a 3D unit. While I was able to use it it was incredible.

I was given my first LG in 2008 by my son as a gift when he was in the Navy I still have it and I never had a problem, it's a lot "HEAVIER". I'm retired now and have had it in my cart and was able to purchase

I bought this in Jan 2015 and still love it, but LG needs to allow other Subscription services when they are available. Can't get Sirius XM.

I had a Tosiba 35 inch tv and let me tell you, it played beautifully. I was waiting for it to break, but it wouldn't. I promised myself that I would purchase a smart tv so I didn. I first looked at Consumer Reports and this tv in particular was rated among the highest. The very first thing I did when it was connected, by two excellent servicemen, was to put the Golf Channel on so I can see EACH blade of grass I hoped to see. OH!! I was NOT disappointed, it played so beautiful that if it had lips, I'd kiss it.

I was one of the first to purchase this TV in 2013 with much expectations from Best Buy 7 years later the screen develops a yellow screen burn in at the bottom of the screen, when I tried to reach someone at LG all I got was much run around from customer service, from people who barely spoke english. Promised call backs etc, here I am 6 months later with no help and no one to turn to. I would love for someone @ LG to call me who speaks and understands english and could possibly help me with my problem

Where to begin with how poorly designed the remote for the LG TV is? The floating pink marker doesn't locate a target without quite a bit of frustrating guidance. Endless messages about the availability of the latest software. Endless agreements that give up privacy. Voice software, when it recognizes voice and that is 50% of the time, claims not to find requested site .

Just short of 3 years the panel has to be replaced.Part is too expensive to fix TV unless LG authorize repair.LG's Executive Department no help. Why LG will not replace the part so my TV can be fixed.

I love this TV. The LG apps work great. The picture is the best you can get and burn in has not been in issue for the 4 years I have owned the TV.

I have had this LG TV for 4 years now. I love the features and functions of my TV. However, a flawed power supply is not representative of a quality product. Power supply are simple and have been mastered for many years by electronic manufacturers

LG's 2017 OLED models are brighter with clearer pictures, better sonics and improved designs. The E7 occupies the sweet spot in the lineup and IMO, you can spend more for different design features (e.g. the G7 or the W7 but why would you? I'm especially impressed with the way this TV upscales ordinary HD broadcasts - sharp and clear with no artifacts (I don't have access to 4K streaming - I'm sure it would look even better). I use the set's Active HDR with DolbyVision feature to improve the HD picture even more - it really works. There's more detail in darker areas of the picture compared with previous year's models. And the Dolby Atmos sound is terrific - I don't feel the need for an extra sound bar. I also appreciate the way in which LG improved the E7's design to make it easier to move around and position. Can't think of any real negatives at all. And with the year-end sale pricing from LG, I don't think you could go wrong. Buy this one!

I cannot believe I spent this much money and the LG TV will not pair to a new bluetooth headphone set. I called support and they said it may or may not. Well, it did not pair. Unbelievable. I will not recommend nor buy another LG TV.

I purchased the LG 55EC9300 OLED in October 2015. In the beginning of October 2017, it began displaying wide vertical band and partial screen freezing. A week later, it powered itself off during operation and never came on again. Research into this problem revealed it to be a fairly common one. A television at this tier should last longer than 2 years. I am extremely disappointed in this product and regret my purchase.

During the period of the last Presidential Election season, I had my set tuned into CNN for long hours each day. Due to CNN's practice of constantly (except during commercials) displaying their large CNN banner across the bottom of the screen, I discovered that now, many, many months later, I still have that banner burned into my screen. There is no cure for this damage. I was aware of this problem with CRT monitors and TVs, but I failed to notice the cautionary mention of this issue in the Manual provided with my set. I ca see why gamers would be well advised to steer clear of this tech if they plan on using it to play hours of video games in lengthy sessions. I failed to realize until it was too late that any programing practices like those of CNN could cause irreparable harm to my investment. As a result, this set is no longer EVER tuned into any live or used to play any DVR programming from CNN. I will forever have a pale yellow ghost of that image with all my viewing.

Infinite Contrast
OLED self-lighting pixels are able to switch on and off individually, offering the first infinite contrast ratio. Contrast ratio measures the range from the brightest whites on the screen to the darkest blacks. These deep blacks seem to melt away, for a greater sense of realism and depth on all content. Higher is better, and infinite has been impossible until now.
The OLED TVs design is even more dramatic, with a gracefully curved screen. It fills your field of vision like no flat screen can, for a thrilling, immersive viewing experience that still delivers a wide viewing angle.
