Happy with this tv. Audio could be better but only has optical audio out and no information on the standards/protocals that apply to that output.

Television was delivered just before Christmas and I installed it right away because I was having family for Christmas. Everybody loved the TV. It has a excellent picture very clear and and sharp.

I've had this tv for a little over 4 years now and it has been absolutely fantastic! The picture is great. The only thing that has ever messed up was the speaker sounds blown out every once in a while. Bought a sound bar shortly after getting the tv anyways so that was never a problem that made us hate the tv.

I purchased the LG for the brand-name because the ones I've seen always performed well this one however rattles when the sound is above barely audible. No discernible audio outputs except for and optical digital connection.

I bought this TV in 2012. I have been watching it for over one year with the dark area on the lower part of the screen. It started getting worse so I finally replaced it. I was asked why I didn't get the extended warranty. It would have just expired when the dark part appeared. It seems that it was designed for failure just after the warranty expires. This seems to be the game these days. New technology so the consumer is always in need of an upgrade. Play on.

bought the stainless version with freezer on top. Works for our situation because we could not use the two door. This was the largest version we could find. A little disappointed the salesman did not point out this model was not energy star but we are happy with the purchase.

Love the TV, and I only have 2 real complaints, well, not even really complaints. My first "complaint" is I wish there was at least 1 more HDMI. This one only has 2 and I wish I could plug in my DVR Xbox and PS3 into HDMI but can only have 2. Moved my DVR to the AV cables. So not really a big deal. My second "complaint" is the sound isn't as good as I was hoping. Going to be getting a sound bar soon. Some movies I'll have to crank it up to around 60 to hear parts, then when the action starts drop it down to around 20 so we don't wake the neighborhood. But for day to day use on cartoons and news it works perfectly.

We have had this TV for 1 year and it has been a great TV for us. I love that it adjusts the brightness automatically. I have no complaints at all about this TV and would recommend it!

Scored a pair on clearance to replace a 40" lcd and a 35" tube tv. Great picture after playing with the settings. It is bare bones on the connectivity and features, but works well for us.

We upgraded from a 37 in and the viewing experience is so much better. The HD picture is great. We watch a lot of sports. We could finally host the Stanley Cup party because we got this TV. It was great!

This LG 55" LED television has been one of the best purchases I have ever made. The picture is great and the energy saving features are pretty awesome. It would have been nice if this television had picture-in-picture though.

Overall I am very pleased with this model. The picture quality is very good. It starts up quickly and the sound quality is good. Does not have a lot of bells and whistles but is very nice. I like how thin and light this is compared to tvs of even a year ago. Also, when you turn on your bluray, it automatically asks if you want to switch to that input, which is very convenient.

This TV fits beautifully with with our decor and provides excellent viewing for our time when we watch shows that we like -- news, sports, weather, and an occasional show. It is also great to view DVDs with our LG DVD player.
