Purchased a month ago and am excited to report it was everything the salesman said it was and then some. We don't have internet service so are unable to use all the features available. It was easy to set up and that was one of my concerns. We adjusted the picture quality and it's amazing! This tv is in my brother's room. We have another brand of tv in the living room, same size. There's no comparison in picture quality between the two. We also purchased a sound bar that synced right up to the tv. It was easily installed. We also purchased a wall mount so the tv could be pulled up, down, out and sideways so my brother can watch it in bed. He is disabled and this tv has been a huge boost for him. He's thrilled and that makes me happy. We already know that when our living room tv needs replacing, LG will be our choice.

The tv is great and gets more channels than I can count. What they don't tell you is you need to either download an app, buy an LG Magic remote or have Lexus devise to use the voice commands. The LG remote that comes in the box is kind of clunky so I hooked up my Roku device so I can use the same Roku remote I use on other TVs in the house.

I purchased this tv after a warranty return on a much lower model LG television. At first I was extremely impressed with the picture quality...now not so. Even on this higher end model. A small bug has gotten in between the screen and the outer plastic layer of the television, ruining the picture. I'm not very impressed with the quality of LG products.

Positives: sound, picture quality, easy to use. Negatives: some motion blur is detectable, have to play with settings before optimal picture quality is achieved.

I purchased this set as a clearance item, though still new. I am looking forward to finding true 4K media to view on the tv and have not yet tried out the 3D features. Picture quality is very good, though dynamic range (black level is not quite what I had hoped for. I would also appreciate a simpler setup for when one wants to watch a film as a film and not as a soap opera - there really should be a single, true, all cinema mode button.

I cant ask for more, this tv is great, love the picture quality and features. Little challenging when you set up the image quality but once you get it right is a beauty. I have my ps4 console connected, cant way to play some 4k image games.

I just took delivery of the 55UB9500. I have to say I am very pleased with this panel, really outstanding if I have to be honest - 4k output is outstanding! 3D is outstanding I didn't expect that good 3D on TV. Great color, uniformity very good. The bad: Here is something I expected more - on board sound is okay. Expensive, but I would rather pay a little more rather than mess with all the issues of cheaper sets.

I've had this TV for about a month now and really like it. The picture is really sharp and clean.Set up was simple and quick. I do have to agree with some comments I read about ghosting in 3D mode,but that's mainly when I use the 2D to 3D. Over all very pleased with TV.

This is a really nice tv, with all the features you could need. I will say that the product does not ship well, and my first one had to be replaced, but customer service will take care of you. Some people don't like the remote control, but it's pretty much the same as using a Wii remote. If you've done that and didn't like it then yeah you might have problems with it. Setup is easy, but finding a good quality picture setting may be a bit of a challenge. I was used to a plasma screen before so the color doesnt ever look good to me, but others who come over say it's got a wonderful picture. Overall, I would recommend the tv if asked. It's a great buy for the price, but I am regretting not getting the larger 65" just because the 3D would look so much better.

The edge enhancement distorts images and is truly distracting, shut that feature off. In order to enjoy this television I recommend having it professionally calibrated as the default settings are not good. You can also look up settings at calibration websites. I used two different websites recommendations to arrive at an acceptable viewing experience. The sound is great and the image is perfect once calibrated. The 3D quality is terrible and I cannot recommend it for most programming, however it is better with animation versus live action. Overall it is a good value but I wish the 3D was better. I like the smart TV features and the ease of use since I tend to watch alot of Netflix and Amazon.

During our total remodel, we added LG products throughout the home. This TV, at 55 inches fit perfect into our basement. We are just learning all of the features and are amazed. There is a slight learning curve but well worth the time.

Most of the features setup is straightforward but fine tuning the picture parameters took too much time and rework. Why is that important? When I first turned on the unit, I was not pleased with the default settings and the presets were not to my liking. The picture was not 'natural'; I was surprised since I never had that issue with my 6-year old Sony television (top-of-the-line when I bought it). I finally got a good enough picture but frankly it was a pain. I have not seen the result based on a 4K input but I am hopeful the extra cost will be worth it.

I have 3 other LG Smart TV's and they all have flash support on them. This is the first one I've purchased that doesn't have it. If I realized that prior to purchase it would have never happened! I do not like to be told what I can watch and can't watch when I am the purchaser. I suggest you bring the FLASH BACK! This Really Stinks and makes you product CHEAP and USELESS! Why bother to put a browser in it at all. So This is a Not So Smart TV>

This 55" TV looked good in the show room and seemed like a good deal for the money. When we got it home we found it super easy to install and the picture quality is amazing! All of the features are easy to use. The "up converting" is fantastic and we have already discovered a new love for the older movies in our collection. Thanks LG! I highly recommend this product.

Cons, for its price range you would expect my 3D glasses to come with it. 4 seems a better number. Pros, I came from a 32" 720p TV so this was a noticeable jump for me. When watching shows where people are on location and no green screen is used then the images tend to be amazing. Netflix has some 4k nature shows and wow the images can only be seen to be believed. Now if your watching a show and green screens were used then you can easily tell whats going on. The background looks great and the people look good but they don't appear to be the same picture but two pictures overlaid. Which is what they are but now you can easily tell when its green screen or on location. Also when you see actors faces up close the lack of pores due to heavy makeup becomes painfully obvious. This is not bad mark on the TV just that Hollywood needs to catch up.
