This unit has the required software for future upgrades but when you contact LG for help, all you get is info that is already on the Help web site...It is ashame, have been a long time fan of LG products but I am done.

Thought the price was a little too good to be true and I waited a few months before deciding to buy. Did lots of research and read many reviews. So glad I went for it! Set up was easy, size, audio and visual quality perfect. So many features it will take a while to explore them all. Only disappointment is the chrome edge, would have preferred black, No big deal though.

I've owned this tv for awhile now and I'm completely satisfied! Great 4K picture and the sound is so much better than previous tvs I've owned. Plus it's packed with a lot of apps that I use everyday since I only have internet, no cable or satellite.

I had a 32 in LG and loved it so when I bought this 55 in I was blown away with the clarity and sharpness of the picture. It is well above my expectations. It is also very simple and easy to navigate.

I purchased this product in February and we have really enjoyed the quality. We use a cable box on HDMI1 and a Roku 4K box on HDMI2. Switching between the boxes is fast. We also use Cast apps from our Android tablets to view recipes and pictures from Pinterest/other. This has been really useful for our renovation plans because the large screen size allows us to consider ideas much as one would with a board.

I bought this item a year ago and can not be more pleased with it. The 4k visuals, the customizeable settings, the sound can make you feel like you're in a movie theater, it's super energy efficient, the apps included are amazing, I still have yet to get through all of them. No regrets at all!

I've had this TV for 9 months, and I’m as pleased as the day I bought it. Image processing is the strong suit, with lots of options to choose from according to your choice. 4K is not yet available for me, so I can't comment on that. Frame refresh can't quite keep up with a fast-moving football, but I’ve noticed no other limitations. Make sure the connections meet your needs: this model has an adequate assortment for common home installs, but nothing “extra”.

It has a beautiful picture that you can change with an event movies, sports, or whatever your looking at. It has a great sound that can be changed to. The only problem I have is it doesnt have a lot of apps. But overall its the best tv I ever owned.

I bought this three months ago. Started having problems within the first month. If you watch it for 2 hours at a stretch, it turns out on its own. I have had to troubleshoot the tv atleast 4 times so far. I have had to reinstall apps multiple times. Oh and the customer service! I have booked appointments online and via telephone atleast 3 times so far. Please do not buy this.

The 4K television has great resolution and has many features. You can download many media apps and the app layout is placed in a very useful out of the way place. The smart remote that comes with the television is a very useful device and it work effectively with my television, cable box, and sound equipment.

I bought this TV to replace a 49" lg smart tv which i loved because picture quality was awesome , well this new 4k is amazing ! The picture is so clear and crisp . The quality was better than some of the more expensive TVs. I will always buy an LG TV !

price is gr8, and after adjusting to sports pic mode and lowering brightness from 50 to 42 and added +2 on color and +2 on sharpness... i'm happy again... natural sound is good... you cant go wrong with this price and size... good buy

Just purchased this TV, and it by far surpasses any expectations. It took longer to build the stand, and take the TV out of the box, than it did to set it up. Picture is amazing. It's the best TV we have ever owned by far.

I find this tv has great feautures like easy to connect other devices. I had a issue with its remote not working and I had to request replacement remote which fixed the issue. Overall, I like this TV.
