Has worked day and night for last 4 yrs till last month the 1.8V supply went out, took ferrite and one CAP with it. Found out other 10UF was shorted (too small) so added two 50 WV CAPS and larger current handling inductor. Wish it had Bluetooth for late night viewing. LG 4K 72" is in my future.

I have owned this TV for three years. During the first year the "Magic" part of the remote stopped working. The Magic part is the mouse cursor which I believe uses Bluetooth. LG sent me a replacement. Later that next year it failed again. This time they replaced the Bluetooth board in the TV. Now, in year three it has failed again.

One complaint that covers it all. Every time I turn around something else is being eliminated from the services/special features and LG doesn't give ANYTHING in its place. Oh, and there needs to be a remote developed that has a keyboard on it for this model. I enjoy the point and click but this is the age of the "text" master it would be nice to have SOMETHING nice that works with this set and how about adding "Theater" as a download for us movie server owners with a huge catalog, since the other service NO LONGER works..

We like this TV because the picture is very clear and color is spot on. The 3D feature is fun and enjoyable to watch movies with since the TV converts 2D to 3D but a 3D movie is awesome to view, some scenes appear to have items IN the room with you, cool! The Magic Remote is cool too but not why we bought it for. We chose this TV due to reviews and when I went to the store to check it out the price had been lowered $400 so that helped. But we really do like this TV so far and hope to say the same years from now. Yes I would recommend this TV to others.

I absolutely love this T.V. Has excellent picture and features. The Smart remote is awesome. I wasn't looking for a 3D t.v. when I bought this one. I bought it because of all the other features (size, wireless, apps, and interface to external components, and the 3D was a bonus. I would highly recommend this T.V.

Purchased this Television in May 2013 from Best Buy. We had it on a TV stand. The picture was so great my wife insists on it being mounted on the wall. The 3D will blow you away. Setting up the Wi-Fi was very easy and 240HZ picture is the best I have seen. Don't waste your time looking any further, this is set to purchase. The pointer on the remote control is cool.

Purchased in May 2013...great picture, great features, lots of stuff I use and many other features I will use int he future. Had a slight problem with teh Magic Remote last night but I did a chat with LG support and they are sending a new remote. Very pleased with the level of support. It looks like there is also a firmware update that I will download.

I did a good amount of research before purchasing this television, and am very pleased with my decision to buy this particular model. The price was more "friendly" than models from other manufacturers that had the same features, and the picture quality is excellent in my opinion. It would've been nice to have more rear hookups for accessories (no analog audio, only one hybrid component/composite port, etc) but I knew of this situation before making my purchase. LG has a nice selection of Apps to choose from, the tv has alot of great features (manually adjust the "Motion" settings for more or no Soap-Opera effect, Dual Play for 3D split-screen gaming, Media Link and other apps for streaming video, pictures, etc from a laptop, smart phone, or other external media device, etc). I am very pleased with the television and would definitely recommend it.

After 11 months of ownership of this tv,I thought it was about time to post a review. I have been completely satisfied with the whole experience from the 3d viewing to the internet capabilities. I really cant think of one thing I don't like about it. Some people have posted negative about the smart remote, however it's simple to get used to. The picture while viewing live sports is phenomenal. The 3d is best with the animated movies, however it's not bad with others. I purchased a few after market 3d glasses that were a little more comfortable than the ones that came with the tv. If you are in the market for a new home theatre, You may want to check out some LG products. In fact I have also purchased a 42" smart tv for my daughters room and have just purchase a 32" led for my bedroom. All LG.

Pros: Great for gamers, less than 30ms of Display latency. Large Vibrant screen, great customization features. Impressive app store. Cons: 3D has some artifacts once every 15 min or so, it is only for one frame at the time, but it is enough to make your eyes twitch for a little bit. By default it has enabled all of those things which give all video the "soap-opera effect" but with some decent config areas you can turn that off. I was shopping around for a television to replace my aging DLP which I had used for gaming and movies for the past 8 years or so and came across this gem. Modern TVs aren't very gamer friendly especially if you play many fighting games(Street Fighter, Blazblue, Persona4: Arena, etc) or if you're into twitch shooters(Call of Duty, Battlefield, etc) due to the large amounts of display latency that you get from the pre-processing that so many 50inch and higher TVs use now. After doing months of research on tested models it came down to this model and another one from a competing manufacturer. However this one was around 1000 dollars cheaper(though this one does have 17ms more latency than the other un-named model). So frugality and common sense won out and I picked up this television. Which wound up being a pretty big plus because my wife was really excited about the prospect of a 3D TV. However the 3D feature does bring up my biggest complaint about the television. While not quite on clockwork, every 15 minutes or so the TV has a bit of an artifact inducing frame only visible from the left eye while using the supplied glasses. It only lasts for a split second and is gone as quickly as it came, but it does ruin the immersion that 3D is billed for bringing to the table. Side note: the remote is a little odd, but if you've ever used a Wiimote you can quickly get the hang of it.

I am very happy with this TV. It is my 2nd LG HDTV. My 1st one was a 47" that I bought it in 2010 and have been very happy with it. I wanted to upgrade to a a bigger Smart TV that is 3D. My wife will now get the 47" tv for the family room.

I looked at a lot of TVs before I purchased this one and I could not find a bigger bang for my buck. I wanted 3D 240hz 60" smart TV and I looked at all the brands and did a lot of research online and talked with salesman in TV specialty and big box stores and no one "NO ONE" could find a better deal than this. And its not just about the money, its also about the features and picture quality. I could find a clearer picture unless I went to a 4k TV. Wireless Smart TV works great. Only thing I would change is: more free 3d content in apps and the 3d glasses not being so shaded # but I guess that's an issue with all the 3D glasses#.

I have 6 harddrives in 3 two slot docks plugged into a powered usb hub plugged into one of the TV's usb in ports. The TV directly plays mp4, avi, ect. movies from the harddrives. Eliminates the need for external player.

I am blown away by the quality of the picture. 2D HDTV viewing is phenomenal. The build quality is excellent, and I like the design of the base. Where this HDTV really shines for me is 3D viewing! The clarity is amazing and an awesome TV for the price.

I love this television. The picture is clear. The size of the tv isn't too much. You want to pay for HD channels. My only complaint is the motion remote can be annoying, reminds me of the wii controller. I would have liked a keyboard remote like the new ones come with, easier to play online. Very easy to use and quick set up. Hardest part is getting it out of the box.

Great picture and features. I wanted to invest in a solid HD TV capable of connecting to the internet and this TV caught my attention. I don't use 3D too much but figured I might as well get one that is also 3D capable to satisfy any spontaneous urges that may arise.
