I bought this TV 6 yrs. ago my son in law thought I should purchase a different name brand.I wasn't sure of the name but the picture was the deciding factor. I'm sorry to say the TV lost the picture video and only sound was left.I thought it should have lasted a lot longer than 6yrs.To fix wasn't worth the cost I want to purchase another TV but not likely a LG.TV is gone

Liked all the reviews and enjoyed the easy set-up. Sound was OK for a typical flat screen TV. I purchased LG speaker system to enhance the sound. Color was great for 14 months. Picture and sound just went out and now I only get screen with vertical lines. Will be taking it in for estimate and hopefully it can be repaired.

The 60"LN5400 LG TV is an excellent purchase. The TV has great sound and the picture quality is very sharp. The TV is very durable. It has MCI 240 and the 120hz makes the images look very smooth. Great TV for watching sports. The audio has an option for Sport Mode, which is great when watching any sports event. I recommend this TV to anyone interested in purchasing a high quality TV. The price is very reasonable.

I think you can spend a lot more for a TV that is not as good as this LG. Picture is stunning, it's very easy to use and it's energy efficient. The audio digital output is a good feature, but if you haven't added an HDMI-capable receiver to your system, you might wish for additional HDMI inputs. There are two, but I'd love to see four. Design is very clean. Remote control is full-featured and easy to use. Definitely recommend!

we received this tv when we purchased our kitchen appliances. we didn't need another tv, especially this large, but we ended up putting it in the bedroom. We thought it was going to be too large, but it's perfect. The picture is great and so is the sound. It does have a lot of glare so it needs to be in a room without a lot of sunlight, so it's perfect for a basement or a bedroom.

Our first big screen television and what a wonderful surprise! The quality of the picture, especially in HD was amazing -- sharp, clear and beautiful colors. The price was comparable, if not better, than other similar LED televisions with all the same features. This TV is great. I was hesitant about the size at first, however it looks great on my bedroom wall. Besides feeling like you're viewing in a theater, the TV itself is very streamline and modern. I'm very happy I purchased it.

Bought this just before the Olympics came on. Beautiful picture. easy set up. Love this big screen. The sound could be a little better but I hooked it up to my surround sound and sounds great. If anyone is looking for a big screen this is definitely worth the price. LOVE IT!!!

After many, many visits to my local H H Gregg store, looking for the best picture for the money, I kept coming back to this TV. After reading the reviews, I bought it. It has an awesome picture, and is so easy to set up. The remote is great, and the menus are easy to navigate. A complete surprise to me was that it solved my satellite TV lip sync problem by connecting the optical audio output from the TV to the optical audio input to my 5.1 audio system. Woo hoo!

I'm satisfied with this product. Maybe, someday, I can afford to buy an even bigger screen but, for now, I'm very happy with this 60" model. The picture clarity and detail are superb. The base is good and sturdy, so I don't have to worry about it falling off the fireplace mantle. When company comes over, I get lots of compliments on it.

This is an excellent product for the money. It has a superb clear picture with excellent resolution. I matched it with a sound bar and watching movies now is like being in a theater. I am really pleased with the simplicity of operation and changing settings when necessary. This was worth every penny I paid for it. Watching TV is now a truly enjoyable experience.

Great television. Right out the box the picture quality was amazing. I adjusted it a little bit and the picture is very crisp. I purchased this because the price was right. Good sound for the size of the tv but will probably purchase a sound bar. Had the tv for two days now the only issue i have is when I turn the tv on and its set on HDMI, I have to cycle the tv modes for the sound to kick it. Instead of turning the tv on and the sound automatically works. Once I cycle the mode to tv than back to hdmi the sound works fine. Besides that this 60'' tv is awesome and will recommend to any one.

For us, this television fits our needs perfectly. With Direct TV we can use Pandora and You Tube. Picture quality is great. People have said that sound quality isn't that great because the speakers are on the back, but we like loud TV and have never had it much higher than 30. We absolutely love our choice. We compared product before we bought and even compared in the store. No regrets.
