I bought this TV in 2014. It survived 4 moves across the state and gave me 11 great years of service. It still actually works, just has a little bit of burn in. Replaced it this month with another LG product.

Very pleased with TV so far. Great picture. We would recommend enlarging the pedestal mount feature to attach to a larger area on the back of the TV. We are not totally comfortable with the small attachment area relating to its apparent stability.

I have been waiting to get a flat screen TV for a few years and I finally ended up purchasing a 60 inch LG Plasma TV. I did intense research and decided that LG was the one I wanted. I was skeptical about getting a Plasma because of all the hype about the lamps burning out. I LOVE my new TV! And so does everyone who sees it. The sound is great....the picture is unbelievable...the quality is awesome! It has so many features that I haven't even investigated them all. It was easy to hook up and worked great from the minute I turned it on. I love everything about it and would recommend it to anyone! I am a true believer in LG products.

I spent months looking for a HDTV with great contrast. I finally settled on the LG 60PB6600 after research and reading of reviews and other info online. It is a heavy TV and I had to get the help of a friend to lift it onto my TV stand. I couldn't be happier with this TV. As advised, I kept the brightness and contrast less than 50 for the first 100-200 hrs of operation to avoid screen burn. During this period I didn't get optimum picture enjoyment but it was for best long term picture performance. You can find the hours used in Settings-Support-ProductServiceInfo. I erred on the side of caution and waited 200 hrs before I adjusted the video settings using the built in Picture Wizard. I have no problems with brightness. Yes there's a bit of reflections during the day when ambient light is at its brightest but you will find that sooner or later your brain will tune them out. Or you can simply dim/close some windows. This is a great TV and the picture is extremely close to natural. I have no problems with sound. I set it between 11 and 13 and have not hooked up a sound bar or external sound system yet. Above 13 and it's too loud for me. My set came with the LG wifi dongle and it's connected to one of the USB slots in the back. This connects it to the internet via my wireless router. I've had 2 system firmware updates so far, with the TV alerting you to each new update, and you simply agree to the update. No problems...not sure what the updates fixed, but I'm sure the updates fixed bugs and/or improved the system. I like the YouTube feature where you can select and play YTube videos from your laptop onto the big TV screen. The only gripe I have is the slowness of typing internet URLs on the TV via the remote...I'll have to look into getting a different remote; there should be one with a QWERTY keyboard. I recommend this TV highly.

The giant screen is awe inspiring. It works well with action movies and sports. I feel as though I am in them. Friends come over for parties and we play Youtube videos or put nature scenes as the backdrop of the party. This is a great TV.

My wife and I are in love with this TV. We shopped a lot of different brands, sizes, and technologies before deciding on this one. We felt the pluses for plasma easily outweighed the minuses. The picture is clear, there is no streaking, and the contrast is good. It helps that most of our viewing in is a dimly lit room, so the plasma colors really pop. The sound quality from the internal speakers is adequate. Like us, you will probably want to use a home theater audio system. With that the sound quality totally rocks. Crisp highs, clear mids, and thundering bass. We are, however, disappointed by the owners manual. It's very incomplete. LG must expect us to be able to intuitively find everything the set offers. The TV is chock full of neat stuff, but we've had to wander aimlessly through the controls to find them. I'm quite certain there is even more there that we haven't found yet. Otherwise, the ownership experience has been outstanding. This is a set you can be proud to have purchased.

I use this in a large basement exercise and game room. As with any plasma, it is highly reflective of any ambient light. So thought must be put into room lighting and window coverings. In a dark room, this is a bright and sharp display that can be viewed from virtually any angle. It is amazing for high def content even when viewed from only a short distance - like 5 or 6 feet. Gaming with Xbox One or PS is fantastic. No lag noticed as I have heard can be a problem with plasma TVs. I can't say enough about how well it renders black. Just last night I watched a movie that had a completely blacked out scene - only a quiet audio track playing - in the dark room, the TV disappeared! An LCD display could not do that.

Got a really good deal for this tv. Like all the features of the tv. Things I dont like, does not have full dvd remote control with a lg player, and once tv is turned on it takes a few seconds before it reapnds to the remote, and wish it had a sturdyer stand. Yes i would make this purchase again.

Despite improvements in LCD/LED, plasma still has the best picture. The only negative is the glossy screen and glare from light, but this model is acceptable in that regard. Plasma prices are extremely competitive and I purchased this TV at a fantastic price, making it a great value. East to setup and worked perfectly. Had a very good picture and required a minimal amount of adjustment to factory settings. The SMART TV features are OK, but a little difficult to use. My TV did not come with a WiFi dongle, but a quick chat on lg.com and they sent me one for free. I am a very satisfied LG customer. In addition to this 60" plasma, I also have a 42" LG plasma, and a LG washer, dryer, and refrigerator. All great products.

I love this tv. It has a great picture with great sound.I'm actually not using my surround system with it since the sound is so good. This replaced my previous 9 y.o. LG plasma. Since I had such good luck with the first purchase I wanted to stick with this brand and I didn't see a LED/LCD that could compare to it. I would have liked a sturdier stand.

There wasn't another TV on the market that we saw that had the same features and even came close to the price. This plasma screen has one of the best quality pictures of any TV that we looked at. We do a lot of streaming and watching sports. The clarity and color on this set is incredible. Movies on this TV have taken on a whole new dimension. I would definitely recommend this TV. Unfortunately I heard that LG is going to stop making Plasma sets by the end of this year. I am sure glade that we purchased one before they stopped. To us, the action on the LED's on the market at similar prices do not hold up to this set.

This LG plasma replace my Panasonic LCD tv. Very good picture quality, really good to watch World Cup in a sport mode. I like how tv shows the field half in the sun half in the shade, this is where sports mode is a must. Plasma does not have that "soap opera" effect when watching movies. Due to glass screen there is a reflection on tv, make sure to close the blinds/shades to get most from plasma. My only complaint is a remote control. The arrows are close to the bottom and it's hard to hold it and press buttons at the same time. No "Netflix" dedicated button! It's a must now. Overall really good TV!

I bought this tv because I know the Plasma's are heading out and I know that they have the best pictures around! This is my 3rd plasma tv and the largest of them all. My others are Panny's and maybe because this is newer its got the best picture as far as I'm concerned. I LOVE the size and for the money it can't be beat! I've had LED and LCD and they are too bright and I cant stand the soap opera affect. I jumped on this when I saw it.. figured this will be a great tv to hold me over till the 4k tv's come down in price. I am very happy with this baby!

I got mine from Micro Center cause it was cheaper. I sit about 8 feet away from the screen, and I notice a significant blur when the things on screen are moving. I have an issue with connectivity, which LG tech support has been working with me to resolve. I can set up the password to the WiFi, YouTube, etc. but when I turn the SmartTV off and turn it back on, it doesn't remember the passwords. I have to retype passwords every single time I turn the TV on. We've isolated the issue to the wireless dongle that comes with it. They've sent me one in the mail. I'll see if that works and update later. I would advise not to hang this on a wall. It is a bit heavy. There is a noticeable flickering in the changing of the brightness when you have the Energy Saving feature set to Intelligent Sensor. Sound quality is great. Not a lot of bass though.

I moved into a new apartment 2 months ago & decided to upgrade to a 60 inch TV..I made an excellent choice, I was looking for something that I could afford. Not only was this 60 in. plasma TV affordable, it has great features. I am yet to use them all, but i love that i could hook it up to my surround sound..view Youtube, Netflix, & more by downloading the Smart Share app. I have not used the wifi feature yet either, but I will very soon.. If You are looking for an affordable TV with great features & an excellent picture quality..This is the set for You.
