Had this unit for about 2 1/2 yrs and it is worth every penny. Bought this for $600 at Micro Center and wasnt really sure how it was going to turn out. Talk about bang for your buck. Works flawlessly. Colors are great. Wireless connection is great. Sound is gd, but I use my HT, so not really a concern but gd enough. Give it a few weeks for break-in period and start tweaking for your preference. Cant be more satisfied.

This was my second flat panel and first Plasma. I had heard that the glare was present on the plasmas but took a chance with it. I have not been disappointed! The picture quality is excellent with an acceptable amount of glare that through positioning of both yourself and the tv can live with easily. I have this in a room with 4 windows near it and an overhead fan with 3 lightbulbs. Not the best situation for the plasma but I am wholly satisfied with it. Probably 70% of the time is watched at night anyway. LOL. Smart features are nice and work excellent even with the laggy wireless dsl that I have. I only have one complaint and it isn't a big deal, but I wish you could run the tv speakers and use the optical out at the same time. I don't have the best surround and it helps with the center channel for voices but like I said not a big deal. I recommend it highly!

This LG TV has USB ports, it is Smart TV, and Syncs to devices. I can watch Netflix, Cable, or stream a movie off my Laptop, Tablet, or Phone, or I can add a USB drive. And I can watch the WWE Network on this TV. The Xbox One also syncs easily to this TV as I can turn the Xbox power on and the TV automatically turns on. I love everything about this TV. My next TV will be a LG no doubt about it.

Compared to other big screen HD TV's, I think that a plasma set gives a better picture at a much better price. LG is one of the last manufacturers that still produce a plasma set and fortunately they make a quality product. Check it out for yourself. Compare how a plasma set looks next to another type. You can't go wrong with LG.

The first flat screen television I brought was a LG "Life's Good" 32 in. for my daughter. I found myself watching her television more instead of my television because of the great picture quality. I decided it was time to treat myself, so I brought myself a 60 in LG "Life's Good" television and I'm enjoying it. It brings out great color when I'm watching sports and wow when I switch to hd, there is nothing better. Great job LG "Life's Good"

This is my first smart tv. I love the picture quality, and the looks of the tv. I can connect to the net, stream Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc and am VERY happy with that aspect of the tv. I am not happy about all the included apps that take up screen space. I don't mind apps for children (I have none in the house or other apps that I personally would never be interested in but I don't like the fact that I cannot uninstall them or at least take them off the interface. Maybe I just haven't found the correct way to do it. Also I really dislike the fact that my TV cannot use a wireless keyboard. The 'Magic' remote (I had to buy separately) works alright but it is not the same as a keyboard in typing searches and such. I will know more about what I am doing when I by my next TV and LG is still a quality buy in my opinion.

I cannot be happier with the performance of this TV after a year. I bought it to hook up my Xbox one and have had no issues. Great for watching TV and gaming. No image blur at all.

Excellent picture quality. Unfortunately HDMI failed within 2 weeks of purchase. Mother board had to be replaced. Great customer service at LG and technicians at Roth's TV. Now close to 2 months and pixel is not working. Hopefully the plasma will hold up.

Reviews indicated great picture. So so when I plugged it in but after a few days of "fine tuning" the picture is very good. I have not been able to connect an older home theatre system to the audio although it worked with a late model 55" Vizio. Probably something I'm missing on hook up. Need to call LG techs I guess. I like the way it updates the Smart TV program on a regular basis.

Extremely pleased with my purchase of this LG 60" Plasma! I did a ton of research and found nothing even close in this price range. I'm technical, so I compared the specs with brands and models in all price ranges. Nothing compared in my opinion. This TV has to be one of the most underated and best kept secrets on the market today. Do your research and compare the specs. The only TVs that begin to compare cost several thousand dollars more! I spent about two hours configuring the set to my specifications. Do a search on "Tanveer Chaudry's user settings on the 6500" and you will find a review done by a professional technician that explains how to use custom settings to configure the set. It's worth the extra time and effort. Then use the Picture Wizard to adjust each setting to your liking. Once you have done that, go through every setting to customize the sound, aspect ratio and anything else you can find to fine tune the TV to perform the way you want it to. You won't be sorry. It is well worth putting forth the extra effort to get every detail just right. What you wind up with is an amazingly accurate picture with a full range of beautiful colours amd a very sharp, detailed viewing experience. I've never seen anything like it! I am one of those that prefer plasma over LED. That's what first drew me to LG and this model. Dark scenes are incredibly clean and detailed with various shades of gray and black. You can actually see what is going on! Ignore anything anyone says about the sound. It's a television. What do you expect? I connected it to my 900 watt 5.1 Surround system. This completed my home theatre experience. Friends and neighbors are green with envy. They all spent much more and have smaller screens, dull colours and streaking during fast action scenes. I experience none of that and I likely paid a third of what they did. Believe me when I say, you will not be dissapointed. I have no regrets whatsoever and enjoy movies, concerts and music videos with unbelievable clarity and sharpness. Deep accurate colours. Clean fast action without streaking or blurring. I am very happy with my purchase and plan to purchase another LG television for another room. In bright light or in a dark room, the picture quality is stunning. I never believed I could be the envy of the neighborhood with my home theatre setup. This was the final piece of my configuration and has given me the status I have always dreamed of. LG, you did it this time. You created a viewing experience like no other at a price point that the average person can afford!

This plasma TV has the sharpest, clearest, best image I've ever seen in a television. At 1080p HD, it is stunningly beautiful, the colors rich and vibrant, and the detail astounding sharp. This is the best television I have ever owned, the quality is unsurpassed, and the features made available by the smart features mean I can access more, do more, and pay less than any other form of tv when wanting to watch my favorite movies or television shows. The nice feature about television shows is that on the smart tv, you can usually watch an entire season in a weekend. This is my first smart TV and my first Plasma. I was a little concerned for the first two days because the picture was not very crisp. However after the initial burn in period, the picture is now awesome! Compared to an LCD, the screen is dark grayish when off rather than black. There is a reflection on the glass but it is not a problem for me since the sun never hits the screen in my den. The Smart TV features are OK but not wonderful - I rarely use them. The sound is OK but not great due to the rear facing speakers. I purchased the LG LAP340 sound plate so I can use the TV remote to control the sound plate and get much better sound. Overall and terrific purchase and I would recommend the TV.

Great app content, mirrorcast is seamless, and my XBOX ONE GAMES looks incredible. And the sound!!!! Omg my TITANFALL game looks and sounds like I'm in the middle of the action. You can hear the ammo droping, the robots servos as it moves, and the bass sounds like if I had a home theater. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PLASMA TV. Thank you LG for this great product and my LG flex!

Provided you're able to purchase this TV in the $800-900 price range it's a great value for a mid-line plasma TV. I've seen it as low as $600 and as high as $1,200 so you do have to shop for a good price. The picture is very satisfactory and the built in wifi receiver connects quickly & automatically to your wifi. I like the great number of pre-installed wifi program choices & the limited functionality (no download/upload) browser. These features are much easier to navigate and much more extensive than a high-line Panasonic plasma with no browser we have. Another feature I really like is the LG remote control smartphone app which gives you a cursor to navigate the TV's screen. The supplied remote is not very well ergonomically designed so you're either going to want to use the smartphone remote app or purchase LG's Magic remote. Overall I'm very pleased with this TV. As long as you don't need 3D or want to play games it's a great TV for the price. This is my first LG TV so I can't comment on the long term reliability and I've had no need to contact LG tech support for the TV so I just hope it's a lot better than it was for a LG BlueRay player I had to return. You'll probably need an extension cord to plug it in as the supplied cord is very short. I recommend this TV and would buy it again.

My first big screen smart TV was an LG Plasma. It was a great television that unfortunately suffered from a lightning strike. I again went with an LG Plasma because I love the look that a Plasma set gives me...and Plasma sets are becoming more difficult to find...plus I feel that LG makes a quality product at a great price. I upgraded to this 60 inch set and have been more than pleased with my choice. The set has wonderful color, it has all sorts of apps as well as internet access to your home wifi. It is just a wonderful television and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a smart TV at an affordable price.

This is my 2nd LG TV. The first was a 37" LCD, and now the 60" plasma. The 60" plasma has a beautiful picture, that is easy to adjust and fine tune to the individual's taste. It has good connectivity with 3 HDMI ports, and all the smart features I was looking for. I am very pleased that the software can be ungraded online, because initially I was not able to connect to Amazon Prime, but a software upgrade corrected that. Like most plasma TVs, the screen is not quite as bright as the LCD, but the quality of the image is amazing and in my opinion it is bright enough. I would not hesitate to recommend this TV.

This is a really great TV. I am glad I went with a plasma, the picture is much better than my friends new led lcd. I used the built in Picture Wizard II to adjust the settings and I don't think the picture could be any better.
