Have used this TV for 9+ years. What a wonderful TV. Absolutely NO problem at all. What a workhorse. A beast of a TV. Crystal clear pic quality. Nice audio without using external soundbar/surround sound devices. Has blown my mind away, the way this TV has withstood 9 years of heavy use. To this day people are amazed by the clarity of its images. People have gone on to buy LG OLED after seeing this TV's performance. I am not changing or discarding this TV until the day it stops functioning. But I will pick up an LG G3 [or G4 model of 2024] 83" for my upstairs main bedroom. LG can truly be proud of the OLED TVs they produce. No wonder that even Sony purchases the OLED screens/panels from LG. Many companies including SONY tried perfecting the OLED panel tech, but they all threw their hands up and decided to buy the panels/screens from LG. So proud being an LG OLED owner, especially as a 9+ year owner of the now outdated 'curved screen' OLED TV.

Guys I just bought one and it keeps turning off every hour or so. It's not the settings, timers are off, eco mode is off, still it turns off! What a waste of money!!!

I first saw this TV in a Best Buy. It wasn't turned on at the time, so all I could think about it at first was how strange it looked. I could not (and still don't understand why it was/is curved. I suppose it has something to do with a more natural feel to the picture and how our eyes work, but I've yet to really read anything that tells me, specifically, why it's curved. They generally say it has to do with creating a unique design that makes it "bring you into the experience" or that it's a design that "makes your TV an art piece" as well. Either way, it's a neat idea. Once i actually got to see the TV in operation, I was blown away by the picture quality. Amazing! The images were so crisp and clear! You know that annoying thing that HDTV's have done where everything looks like it was filmed with a home video camera? OLED doesn't. You know that annoying pixelation that occurs from shoddy, Plasma or LCD displays? OLED doesn't. They even reduced side glare by making it curved! Although, I don't think that was on their minds. The OLED is a beautifully designed, magnificent piece of hardware that offers a visual feast for your enjoyment. I WISH I could afford one. I wouldn't want anything smaller than a 55", because I'd definitely want to make it a part of my home theater system, as opposed to setting it up as a counter-top TV in the kitchen or what-have-you. It simply wouldn't receive the laud or praise it deserves anywhere other than where it is a central and integral piece of the experience. I will say that there are two major drawbacks for the OLD: 1.) Price...dear Lord is it expensive! 2.) Shininess...If you like to have lights on around your TVs, you've probably always hated Plasma TVs simply because they give off glare from every angle and they reflect YOU and other objects in the shiny screen if you're anywhere near them...and OLED TVs can be known to do that too- albeit, at a much reduced level of occurrence. Either way, this is a fabulous Television- and boy is it ever a vision!

This TV has surpassed all of my expectations. The blacks and contrast are the best I have seen. And I had a Kuro. The passive 3D is great.

Watching television on this TV is like being on the set location of whatever show you are viewing! The OLED screen resolution is simply amazing and the up converting to 4K/UHD software is without equal in the current market place. This is the best TV you can buy right now!

LG has stepped their game up with a totally wise way of technology. Adding the actual color of BLACK to the pixels enhances the images far more clear than any leading competition. The fact LG included this feature allows a seemingly infinite refresh rate, not needing a special HDMI cord to play games or watch colorful, action-packed films! The 3D option on this television is also an excellent luxury!
