I bought this Tv in 2015 and no issue until today were when i turn it on the screen blinks out and there no picture, But yet i can still hear sound and change channel. From what i been told it's a back light inverter. Ok but when i try find a repair shop. No none exist anymore. When i try to research the part again none exist. LG if you put out a product still have the parts available or don't sell discounted product.

I've had this TV for 2 years now and hasn't failed. However, there are some questions as to why they made this TV in the first place? 1.) Its not smart so technically you can't wi-fi your NETFLIX or do any networking for that matter. 2.) It'll show JPEGS and MP3 on a USB drive but not AVI, MPEGs, MP4s, etc?!?! 3.) You're limited to certain I/O on audio visuals. I had a sound bar I wanted to hook up but didn't have S-Video connection. The only way you're able to get this TV with a soundbar is if you're using USB or HDMI or RF jack. Maybe my soundbar was dated, so I'll give LG that point. 4.) Speaking of sound quality, the 2 small speakers they installed suck b*lls. Every movie I play has to have the volume turned all the way up. There's no bass or tone which makes me think they skimped on sound. In summary, this is nothing but a big gigantic computer monitor with great rez but to integrate it with your home i would search for other models.

I bought this at Best Buy maybe 14 months ago and I was happy with it at first. Now there is light bleeding through around the edges of the screen, and there are dark streak spots on the screen. If this is the quality of LG, I think I will look into a different brand when I buy a new TV.

I bought this tv in January 2015 at the recommendation of the Best Buy Associate. It is NOT a smart TV, which is just fine as I do not need those features. Yesterday however the sound did not work. I am thankful I have purchased the extended warranty plan.

I was pretty happy with this t.v. until I bought my husband a sound bar for his birthday--for being a newer t.v. we were shocked to find out it isn't equipped to accommodate the optical audio cable and instead has to run through the cable box. Tried to find some sort of adaptor, but apparently one does not exist.

This tv has the best picture out here. The structure of the tv is amazing, all around quality. I'm very happy with the investment I made.

This TV is big and it's clear from corner to corner. It's loud which is awesome when comparing to some other large LED TV's. It's light weight for a 65" but you'll need two people just because of its size. The only thing that annoys me is the special Component input required. They give you the adaptor but it's a hassle and a half, if you lose it like I did, to get another one. They should have just made the component input the same as every other TV out there.

I reviewed a large number of LED TV's this spring. I kept coming back to this one because the price was excellent for a TV of this size. I like this TV because, even though it doesn't have a ton of features, I don't use or need them, thereby allowing me to have a large screen TV at a great price.

I bought this TV because it was priced just right for a 65" LED TV. I knew going into it that it did not have WiFi or any special features, but that is okay to me. The picture is beautiful, and its used to play an Xbox One which has all the connectivity features that I need. The sound is amazing as well. On my last set I had a 5.1 surround sound system that I have not hooked up to this TV yet because the stock sound is good enough. I enjoy how easy this TV was to set up, and how think and sleek it is. I would definitely recommend this TV to my friends!

So far we're really enjoying our new LG TV. This is the first LG product we've purchases and if this is an example of LG quality we'll be buying more. The picture is great and the features are all we wanted. We'd recommend this product to family and friends. Thank you LG.

I've owned this TV for about a month now, using it primarily with my Xbox One and Amazon Fire TV Stick. I also have been using a 40" Vizio SB4020E-B0C Sound Bar. I've found the performance to suit my needs, especially since I found this TV at a great price. Some aspects, however, have been underwhelming. PROS: - Picture & sound is crisp - High refresh rate is noticeable - Wall Mounting wasn't particularly difficult - 3 HDMI & 2 USB inputs CONS: - No Optical Audio output. I have to run my soundbar directly from my Xbox One. If I had a different system and watched cable, I would be annoyed that I couldn't run the optical straight from the TV to the sound system. Plus, having to use a third remote for the soundbar due to this is a pain. - I have experienced the issue that I've seen across several online reviews of "bright spots" (resembling a light ring) in the screen's background. It's not too noticeable when you have highly colorful/bright content on the screen, but if you're watching a scary movie--or any movie that has dark coloring for that matter--it becomes very apparent. You can fidget with the backlight settings and others to bring it down some, but I haven't been able to fully eliminate it.

I Bought this LG 65" TV to replace a Vizio 55" TV, It only lasted 4 1/2 Years. I have 3 other Vizio's. This is my first LG. I bought the LG because I could not find any other TV that was not a Smart TV. I have a Fire Stick. So I didn't need that feature. I'm Happy to say, I bought a LG, Great value for the money. Picture quality and Sound is awesome. My next TV will be an LG also.

I looked at a lot of TV's before I purchased this one, read a lot of reviews, and got stuck on this one. I started out looking for a 55" to replace my current one and just couldn't pass up this deal. great name brand, lots of excellent reviews, cost less than my 3 year old one that I screwed up with windex. so far we have been very happy with it. picture is great. sound quality is fine. one month in I have no complaints. I would buy it again.

After reviewing many TVs, I chose this model from LG because of the features, size, reliability and price. If looking for a non-smart TV, this is the one to buy.

I did a lot of research on tv's and am glad I did. I have beyond happy with this TV. My only gripe would be the sound quality, However, I plan on getting a sound bar to compliment the TV. All in all I am very happy with with the TV.

I have a 65LB5200 on November 28, 2014, however, since May 1, 2015, the remote does not control the TV, as the sensor may been defective. Please advise, thank you.

Have been purchasing LG for at least the past 20 yrs. never been disappointed yet. Great picture, good features, excellent value for the money. Not a problem with any of them! Not crazy about the new stands. Liked the old ones that pivoted. Otherwise, two thumbs up!

We like everything about this TV except the sound quality. We have it in an entertainment center and since the speakers direct out the back of the TV it sounds exactly like it's in a wooden box. Other than that it's a great value for the money.

It is all about the picture . . .

This is our second large screen LG for a reason: the outstanding picture at a price less than that of a small car. With a little tweaking out of the box to match your viewing taste, it will not disappoint. Since it is an older model (who really cares about the latest features, when the picture delights, the sales price freed up dollars for a sound bar. Suggest LG LAS551H . . . combination = great home entertainment value.
