One quirk that drives me crazy. When watching a show that is shot in low light, ie. a cave, night filming, more shadows than highlights, or if the lights in a scene go out. There are areas on my screen that turn pixelated as opposed to sharper areas of the same screen. Oh, and yes I finally figured how to turn off that annoying Google "continue" startup screen. Other than that GREAT Tv.

This TV is amazing. The video quality and size are perfect for a home theatre. There are a good amount of inputs on the back but not enough for all my hook up needs. Especially for the higher end 4K video hook ups. Only 1 HDMI port seems to support true 4K high res input. Another plus on this TV is the upscaling of video. I have a Laserdisc connected to this and it looks pretty amazing for an old analog video that large. The sound is pretty amazing on this too. Love the 3D feature. It is the best looking 3D for home we've ever scene. The only drawbacks I have are (besides the weight of this monster) that the video image started showing grey shadows and lines in the background. They are really only noticeable on solid color videos. The problem is LG's warranty and 3rd party warranty support vendors. No one wants to work on this large of a TV and now LG won't stand up for the repair. So for the TV itself, I give it a 4.0 but for the warranty support I give it a 1.0. the amount this thing cost (as much as a good used car) should warrant gold star support.

I was an early adopter from 5 years ago, after all this time, this 4K HDTV still work flawlessly. The only bad thing is about the interface and how LG couldnt figure out a way to be able to update them to latest version, that's just terrible design.

I got a great price and I love the TV, Great picture. I have it mounted on the wall and it looks very nice. I seat only 12 feet away, it is very bright compared to original TV.

At first, I thought it may be too big. I could not be more wrong. The viewing area is approximated 12-14 feet away and it is perfect for viewing. The quality of the picture is stunning and the features are very easy to use.

When purchasing a high end unit like this, you have fears of problems and issues that seem to have plagued other similar TV's. Fortunately, this exceeded all expectations and performs flawlessly, whether viewing action, or UHD content.

Pros: Picture quality is excellent. 4k resolution is excellent, I cannot see any lines at all. Lots of bells and whistles. Noticeable bass sound considering how small the speakers are. Cons: Could not connect to the internet. Needed a software update installed before successfully connecting to the internet Remote control should be backlit for this kind of money. When I play a widescreen blu-ray on an LG player, there are black bars at top and bottom using 16:9 aspect ratio

We first bought this TV for our Summer home in Alaska. We did not have a chance to see it at a store before purchase and were hoping it live up to our expectations. It did. When it was delivered and installed our first impression was that it was big. After several months of use we were very impressed with the picture quality and clarity. Being on satellite TV we were not able to use the Netflix features or many of the Smart TV features due to streaming issues. We bought the same TV on our return to our Florida home. Being on cable TV in Florida we were able to explore the many features of this Smart TV. It is easy to use and the 3D is excellent. Like the fact that it has a picture adjust function that makes it eassy to adjust the picture to your preferencess. NFL games are a whole new experience with this outstanding TV.

We upgraded from a 65" to this 84". What a difference it makes. The picture is clear and the sound is great. We find ourselves watching most all shows in 3D. The engine on this TV produces perfect 3D from normal 2D shows. The Wi type remote is a little hard to keep still over the buttons you are trying to push but other than that small annoyance, it is a great TV and we are glad we bought it.

Very happy with our purchase of this LG TV-- the only problem we had is the weight-- It's pretty heavy and we had to get a friend to come over to help get it on the stand. Set up was very easy and it's been working great for us-- I like the menu structures and the remote took a minute to get used to, but really like it as well. A great product for us!!

Overall the TV has a very nice appearance in just about any kind of room. The sound quality is so good you think its coming from a complete surround system and the picture when streaming YouTube etc. is about as perfect even using wireless as one can expect.... However, in LG's attempt to make a tv "user friendly" in actuality they have complicated things so much I, a so called Tekkie have a hard time with it. Just finding the setup, picture and sound menu's etc are next to impossible. The remote control leaves much to be desired.. looks like something a 3 year old would play with rather than that belonging to a sophisticated tv. It tries to operate like a Wii but is so difficult to enter letters or click buttons on the screen it takes a 5 star tv down to 3.. no joke. Last, tho updates are appreciated it really makes me wonder why the TV has updated itself twice and other programs on it many times also in the past few weeks we have had it around. Is there a hack for the GUI yet?

First off, it's extremely heavy weighing in at over 170 lbs with the stand. You'll be sweating with 2 guys moving it onto your stand. But I like that it's got weight to it since it's a really nicely sculpted piece of electronics, solid. Once I turned it on and dialed in a few of the settings, I was blown away buy the shear brightness, vividness, and contrast of the source material. It really is like having a gigantic retina display. 4k material is simply unbelievable and you just can't stop but stare at it. It even makes regular 1080p look fantastic. I actually like the enclosed remote and will continue to use it even thought I have a dedicated universal for my gear. The 3D is incredible too. Best I've seen on a TV yet. Since I record video in 4K, I wanted to have a reference standard monitor to view my material on and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this display for those who are looking for the best at a reasonable cost.

We received our 84" 4K LG about a month ago and are thrilled with this fantastic television. The HD and 4K programs are spectacular. The 84" LG upscales regular programming flawlessly and the 3D is excellent. We're watching all of our old favorite movies but now we can see them in 3D. Amazing product!!! LG scores !00% with this product.
