Ours worked fine for about 1 year, but after that the buttons were not very responsive, and it started needing new batteries about every 3 or 4 days! We have spent so much on battery replacement?NOT worth the "magic."

I’m not sure why but this remote has been a big pain compared to others. Having to replace it once a year seems kinda ridiculous to me. Poor quality.

this is a terrible manufacturing problem. this is my second remote in 3 years. the wheel stops working and cant even use or start up TV since the wheel does not work. Very disappointment in product, especially because I love the TVs.

Even though manual says this is comparable with my TV, I cannot get enter button to work. I wanted this mostly for voice recognition and the scroll wheel. Lg customer support and website are great. Said I need to contact seller. Such a pain that I haven't yet. I have seen a lot of comments just like mine

I have this remote and it broke immediately after its warranty expired. Then LG charged me $75 for a replacement - this even though the remote model is 3 years old and the remote probably costs them $2 to produce. This is NOT how you treat customers! I used to be a loyal Sony customer but stopped being one after I owned a computer that broke right outside of its warranty period and they wanted to charge me the full amount to replace it. Now LG is doing the same. So for the sake of squeezing out $73 in profit, you screw over a potentially loyal customer???

The remote does not stand up to bumps that you are used to with all of your other electronics (remotes, phones, etc.. Dropped it on a padded, carpeted floor from a height of 2 feet and it no longer works. Otherwise, it navigates the LG just fine, but it navigates Spectrum underwhelmingly. I would buy this again, but I am looking for something that is not built cheaply, something that can withstand normal drops and bumps.

I bought a replacement for my original remote which failed after 13 months. It was out of warranty by a few weeks so I purchased a new one. At the same time I pursued a replacement from LG under warranty. I DID receive that replacement after almost 3 weeks. So now I have two. It is a good remote, just should not fail.

I wanted to buy an OEM remote for my TV vs. any of the aftermarket ones. As soon as I turned it on, the remote sinc right away and worked perfectly.

This remote came with my TV. 60UH8500. 6 months of good use and it has had no issues. I read it uses batteries fast but I have only needed to change them once in 6 months. Great remote.

My supervisor and I bought this product to help a customer when he purchased a used OLED from 2016 and received the 2017 magic remote. Personally using the 2016 remote at home on my OLED C6P I love the functionality and we were to very quickly figure what the issue was for the gentleman. Shipping was quite quick and arrived ahead of schedule which was excellent for both parties involved.

Works perfectly with TV, very easy to use, voice search is very convenient way to find anything and if you use Web Browser this remote is the best thing for navigating as it works as a virtual mouse.

My tv did not come with this remote but I did buy it to go with it. It usually works really well, but sometimes you have to reset it to get the remote to work. Thankfully it is really easy.

After cross checking model numbers of compatible TVs with various vendors I purchased the unit online. A couple of vendors stated it would not work, while the one I bought it from stated it would. I received it and found that it would not sync with the TV

This remote is not good. First, it's not backlit! Secondly, the + and - keys as well as the up and down arrow keys are cute but not easy to see or manipulate - - main keys should be larger than other keys since they are used most off. Despite it's curvature, it actually does not fit naturally in your hand. Not a good product at all - very disappointing.

my 2015 tv did not come with a magic remote so i went out and bought one to pair all my devices. WOW was i choked to find out they change the remote every year and it is not compatible with older models. Why this remote cant connect to a TV I bought 2 years ago is beyond me. way to support your products.
