I purchased my High Performance Mini Hi-Fi system CM4550 from Best-Buy back in 2017. I've been using it at home since til last year. I tried using several months ago at my family function but it stuck on the CD mode . Try putting it on BT but would jump back to CD. What possibly can I do to fix that. I love this system very much.

cannot find information about headphone connection. or any information about any product as the website is a voodoo mess. There is no 24/7 support. Seems there is no 001/001 support. I just want to know if there is a way to use headphones with this thing. I guess tha't a giant secret.

Had this less than a month and the sub woofer just stopped working. I looked to see it the connection was the problem but it wasn't. It made contact . And nothing was broke . The unit still works but its not working at full capacity.

Every thing about this system fits me perfectly. I play it at near the top of the volume control nightly and havent had any problems even though I bought it used from a pawn shop. I have no problems connecting my phone to the blue tooth but for some reason it wont discover my desk top which is 4 ft away. Can anyone help me please??

I was finally cable to purchase this Model CM4550 stereo. Before that, I was only able to hear it. The sound quality that this stereo creates is just simply out of this world. I get a lot of compliments about it. It's , by far, one of the best purchases that I have ever made

The gauge of the wire is too small to handle 700 watts RMS. The power consumption is 80 watts as shown on the specifications so that means the watts it produces from it will not be 700 watts RMS. The boxes for the speaker/subwoofer will not handle 700 watts RMS. The tweeter is cheaply made. The magnet size of the speakers can make me tell that it doesn't make 700 watts RMS. There is actual wood inside of the speaker box to add weight to it, to make it seem like the big deal.

For my birthday 2 years ago I had decided, that since I loved music to no end; what better way to show that than to get a stereo? I was not looking for some cheap brand with probably only 50 watts of power, I was wanting something as powerful as I could get it while still remaining...Fairly priced to say the least. Well Walmart is where I originally found the CM4550 at and I just knew this was going to be my stereo, I knew I had to get it. It totally exceeded my expectations, and for the speakers to be as small as they are they surprised me with how much bass they got, even at a lower volume level like 15/40. I have mostly used it for bluetoothing Spotify on the weekends to have fun with, but the FM radio function is quite good, and clear 97% of the time. I have not tested the CD function yet nor the USB recording feature but when I do I may come back to give my input on it. The only cons I have, which are small, are 2 things: They try to automatically connect to my PC by Bluetooth every time I turn either one of the devices on, so to prevent that I have to keep my stereo unplugged from the wall until I decide to use it. And the 2nd con is they have had issues sometimes with staying connected to the wires that go to the main unit. But other than those 2 things they are flawless and I'm perfectly happy with them. I have loved LG's stuff for a while, and this is one of my prized possessions right here. You cannot go wrong with this stereo.

I'm a music teacher who managed to get my superintendent to purchase this system for my classroom a few years ago. It had all the features I needed, and set up was pretty easy. Sound was not bad (still find it odd that all of the EQ settings were basically just various genres of Latin music, but maybe I'm missing something). There have been two problems, however. First, after a few months, we discovered that there is no way to block access to the Bluetooth function. No password feature, no "off" setting, etc. to stop anyone (and I mean ANYONE) within range from pairing his/her phone and taking control of playback, even if the system was turned off! This was discovered by accident when the biology teacher next door began letting students play on their phones during class and quickly became common knowledge among the jr. high kiddos (I'm sure you can imagine the problems this caused). I contacted the manufacturer and they told me there was no way to stop this from happening, so I'm guessing it would be a problem for individuals who live in close quarters with their neighbors as well. The second issue is that a few weeks ago, it simply stopped producing sound! I'm checking to see what the cause is, but no matter how I try to play music (CD, aux, bluetooth), no sound comes out of the speakers (yes, I've checked cables and connections). It's also now struggling with reading CDs that I know are perfectly good, and will suddenly freeze up with "S PROTEC" on the display. I'm assuming that this stands for "surge protect," so I'm researching what, if anything, can be done to fix it (no, we didn't have any lightening storms or power surges at the school prior to this happening, yes, I tried multiple outlets, etc.). So, in short, it WAS a nice little system, BT can be hacked by your neighbors (both accidentally or on purpose), and it may just stop working after a couple of years.

If the bluetooth quits just unplug it people wait 60 seconds it resets! Been maxing this machine out via bluetooth for a couple of years. No problems. Great volume, great sound.

So I picked mine about two months ago hooked it first thing out the box and its been playing most anytime I'm home. Love it no doubt and its my first out of own pocket system and couldn't of made a more perfect shot in the dark, didn't really know what to expect just that I'm looking for awsome quality n boy did it deliver. I just Wish it would link with trusted BLE set devices when solo music selecting. One other thing, im not sure if this can even be avoidable or a sign of a defected product but I hear a sort of double faiding like eco around mid-low volume. Could this be from BLE linking? Would using USB Rec or Aux improve this for best possible performance... Or am I mainly overthinking all this. Answers would be appreciated to cut some stressing in the head of a helpless perfectionist on the smallest details.
