If you have a Samsung phone don't waste your money. The LG app will not work and LG does not plan to fix the issue.

The band seems to do it's job, but as the app won't work, needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled to work. Tried on two different Android phones LG G4 and HTC M9, both decent kit, but neither works consistently.

I bought it a week ago, its nice and if it worked.... it would had been great. LG needs to fix the bugs, otherwise it feels great even though when i am using my motorcycle the wristband thinks that I am walking

Trying to sync this device to an iPhone 6s and app keeps crashing. This is a Christmas gift and am thinking a waste of my wife's money as I cannot use it yet.

Resets the time and number of steps at midnight... but can't set the time. Will not sync - app does not run on either Nexus 6P (Marshmallow 6.0.1 or iPhone 5C (9.02). Renders product useless.

Im using an iPhone 5S on iOS 9 and the app crashes every single time you try to connect the band to the phone, the app needs fixing immediately.

Love the band, but I hate the app! Crashes EVERY time in iOS9. Full price was paid so I expect full features.

I have had this life band for less than a week... The band itself is fine... the App is atrociously disappointing. The App has not been updated in almost a year and while it worked for the first few days it now crashes every time I want to sync with the Lifeband... especially since completing the iOS9 update, so until this is sorted, I am incredibly disappointed. What use is a decently designed product when the accompanying software/App render it useless?

There's always been a problem with the app....after the device is synced, the app will automatically close & the only way to get the app to stay open, the Bluetooth has to be disconnected. After loosing weight, the band became too big & is not adjustable. The device will not measure heart rate unless the earbuds/headset is purchased. That's a bomber

If I could give this negative stars I would. The app is just about useless, and the wristband is poorly designed. Charging the built-in battery requires you to connect a small dock which constantly falls off. Sometimes the device will charge and sometimes you have to fiddle around with the device to get it to work. This product is difficult to use; I would strongly advise against buying it.

Very hard to set up, virtually impossible to be able to change parameters once set up. I could not for example correct a incorrect birth date. My daughter wanted to use it, but was unable to change the exiting parameters to her birth date. Because it is so user hostile I would never buy it again.

love it. It's bluetooth capabilities are awesome and it keeps track of all my steps and just how many miles have have traveled and at what rate of speed I'm travelling.

This activity tracker really failed! constantly wants to sync & then closes out the app! At the end of the day I want to be able to open the app and see my results and end up very disappointed. This was a total waste of money. I've only had it 4 days and already I want to throw it out the window! I think the problem starts whenever the workout mode is used, it seems to short circuit the tracker in some way. I'm already looking for another brand online that won't let me down.

When a salesman expllained the features at a Best Buy to me, he made it seem like it did everything. He didnt explain to me that you had to have other devices to read your heart rate, and that it didn't actuallly show your text messages on it. I thought it would scroll the full text message on it, but instead it only shows the namee off who text you. At first it held a charge for 3 days, but now it only holds a charge ffor up to 2 days, which can become annoying especially when it dies in the middle of working out. I have only owed this prodduct for 4 months. At this point, Im only using it for a watch. VERY DISAPPOINTING, especially since it has a great look and is very easy to take offf andd put back on. I'm looking for a better device.

Great product with the features as required for daily use. Only drawback is it does not work on a treadmill if you hold the rails to support yourself when you are at an inclination. Works only when you swing your hands.

Does not work with LG Nexus 4. Step counter is inaccurate. Cannot set stride length. Expensive for what you get!

Pros - Goals and fitness features are great. Seamlessly integrates with bluetooth Cons - No micro USB port for charging, requires the cradle. Love the device, but if you lose the smaller than 2 inch charging cradle, be prepared to buy another activity tracker because LG does not sell the cradles separately. Bottom Line: Buy a device with a Direct Micro USB connection, not this.

I love the design of this product. Like most of my friends and associates I was not looking for a watch. Most people in my profession wear very expensive watches and will not buy an electronic one no matter how nice. However I can wear this one like a bracelet on my opposite arm and wear my fancy watch too. A few things I feel the next generation needs to have brighter display. Heart rate monitor built in and most important to me sleep tracking I almost did not get this device because it doesn't track sleep!! I love the app design!! Would love to see something in the work out drop down for push ups and sit ups. I love lg new innovation in the mobile industry This product has great future potential at a time when most companies are focused on watches there are a lot of professional that will only wear bracelets and this is the product. I love that you guys actually listen and improve.

I live in Mexico City, I was very excited about this gadget, so I asked to my sister, who lives in Detroit, to buy it and bring it in her trip to Mexico. She arrived yesterday and II connected to charge but the level of the battery never pass from the firs mark and the LED remains in red. If the band is connected to the charger it “works” but once you disconnect the charger, the band dies. The battery does not take any charge; it looks like there is no battery in the band. I’m big fan of the LG smart phones since few years ago, so this is VERY DISAPPOINTING TO ME. I will give it to my sister to take it back to USA and request my money back. In this moment, this band is garbage to me.

cant read in sunlight which makes music controls and other values useless during most workouts. call and text notifications dont work on iphone. silencing calls by covering doesnt work on iphone. workout mode gps and mapping in app appear to be wrong many days, mileage is often off from true mileage. you cant adjust your step/pace to account longer or shorter strides. i do like some of the features, however given most of my activity is in the sun where i cant read it they are meaningless.

First the good news - sleek, has the time (no need for a watch) and seems to be more accurate than the jawbone. The However - The battery only lasts for a couple of hours. I have turned the bluetooth off which prevents messages and notifications features from working and set the gesture feature to off. I also set the time to automatically turn off to the 5 seconds. I was planning on purchasing the HR earphone monitor but the battery issue renders the band useless. I do wish the display was a little brighter because it is impossible to see in any type of normal light. It appears to track your activity or steps but I am not sure what the difference between activity tracking you must turn and the step counter.

I like the LG Lifeband Touch, however some of the phone related features simply are not compatible with the iPhone. For instance, the income call alert does not show the name of the caller or the phone number, if you are using an iPhone. The text alert feature does not work with iPhone at all, it supposedly only works with Android. Honestly I thought I read all of the specs and features info before making my purchase and I do not recall seeing anything about these phone features only working with an Android phone. Two other disappointing points about the LG Lifeband Touch, one is that the display is very difficult to read in sunlight. The other is that the way the device sits on your arm makes it awkward to read, you kinda read everything on a slant.

I have been searching for the perfect tracker and was excited when I saw this come out. I have used, Fitbits, Loops, Misfits etc etc. I am looking for an all in one band that can monitor heart rate, calories, steps, sleep. I picked this up and ran home charged it, strapped it on. It synced to my Bluetooth polar heart rate monitor quite easily. Then proceeded to fire up a HIIT workout for 50 minutes. checking the band during the work out displays the heart rate perfectly. Finished the workout and went to check the app for total calories burned only to see 300. This workout normally gives me 800 burned. Then I found out the product does not track HIIT workouts. Which is a major downfall. The fit and finish is great, control music is fantastic. However without this basic tracking I will be returning the product.

The Lifeband looks sleek and stylish and is comfortable to wear (not the least heavy or unbalanced as some people in hands-on reports before general availability stated). Make sure to get the right size for your wrist in order to have it fit well (I can imagine that if it is too big or small it might be quite uncomfortable). Extra functions like the text notifications and the music player controls work well. I have the Lifeband paired to a Nexus 5. The pairing process was very easy. I cannot say anything with regards to the battery lifetime yet as I have just used the Lifeband for about a day so far. Definitely I would have prefered it to be waterproof instead of just splash proof. But that is something I knew before buying it. Why only three star as overall rating: What needs improvement is the explanation if what the calorie counter means. The app estimates a BMR (Basal metabolic rate) based on the user's age, weight and height. And then it starts counting calories towards a goal that has to be set. It is not clear to me what calories are counted. It seems to be activity on top of the BMR, but as mentioned, no explanation anywhere... I connected the app with myfitnesspal (my primary fitness/health tracking incl. calorie counting I do there). It is definitely great that LG is so open that it allows to connect to different services and allows even to connect heart rate monitors from other companies. But the calorie adjustments posted to myfitnesspal don't make sense to me. It seems that everything on top of the BMR gets posted there as a workout. As this doesn't take into consideration my calorie goals in myfitnesspal it is not helping me to figure out how many calories I can consume a day and still hit my goal adjusted for my daily activity level... I think there is room for improvement and I hope LG keeps on working on this. In total I like the Lifeband Touch and if LG follows up to improve the calorie counting issues in connection with connected apps I'd be more than happy to bump up the Overall Rating.
