LG OTW420B Full-Motion Wall Mount for 2016 LG OLED TVs

Got this mount as part of a package deal with my OLED55C7P 55-inch TV The mounting instructions are good, although some of the illustrations could be a bit clearer. The mount is sturdy and includes some heavy-duty bolts, 10 of them, that go into wall studs or with the durable wall anchors that are provided into the drywall. The mounting plates’ length only span one set of studs, so using the wall anchors may be necessary for some setups. The hardest part of the install was getting the TV bolts into the slots, which require putting the bottom in first and then lifting a bit to get the top bolts into the mount. One small issue with the mount itself, is the excess white grease on it, which helps with the mount’s movement, but could have been a bit more moderately applied. I like that this mount has the ability to angle and tilt the TV a few inches. Not as much as those mounts with an articulating arm, but enough for my needs. This not only is helping for my viewing needs but also makes attaching the cables much easier. The mount definitely has a slim profile, allowing the TV to sit close to the wall and once on the wall, it is not noticeable at all. The TV sits very stable in the mount with the locking mechanisms that hold the TV anchors in place and feels very solid overall. This mount is a bit pricey as compared to some but with LG’s plastic back plate, not all mounts work. The mount sits where you angle it and doesn’t really move easily, so you have to make sure to be careful when pushing the TV back flush against the wall. I usually just grab the back and angle it that way to avoid pressing on the screen. Overall though, a solid mount that works fine for various LG TV’s. 4 stars

Only one picture in the photo I couldn't understand and it turned out to be the most important instruction of the manual . It's the one about an arrow to help you line up to mount the TV to the wall. I looked all over for that stupid Arrow. Finally I got a flashlight and found a stamped air on the side. You would think they would have gone the extra mile and colored it in Black to make it easy to see. Because when you're mounting it on the wall the closer you get to the wall things get hard to see awfully quick. I recommend three people when mounting this TV. It's definitely not a one-person install. A third person is needed sightline the TV to the mount while installing.

I started preppring for installation and the instructions are pretty easy to follow however is tell you to use a cetain mount with cretain screw that do not fit on the tv. The incorrect parts fit but might damage your tv voiding your tv warranty. Called LG and are useless in helping. They advised me to call a profesional which i am!!!

Be careful, The new LG OLED 65E7P has a new 300x300 Vesa pattern (as per their manual. This bracket does not support those dimensions, only 200x300 and 200x400.
