I bought this ust a month ago. After months of research I finally pulled the trigger. Nothing really blows me away. But this little gem did. So easy to use. It took me less than ten minutes to set up. No running wires through the walls or bulky tv brackets. When you think technology can’t get any better lg is destroying the competition. A very satisfied customer.

The projector works great in a low light room on a screen of 100". LG seemingly has not released any new software to support the new apps that are on its TVs of similar age.

Rarely used the product. Just for presentations. One of the most convenient projectors I have ever used. Very portable and bright for its size. Convenient to setup.

Bought this last year and brought it to Australia (auto volt works, just need a plug adapter for a long family vacation. Everyone loves using it for playing video games, enlarging streaming media using our IPhone with lightning to HDMI adapter.

This projector is in a class of its own; it's hard to find a product like it. It does everything you'd expect it do do, but has a few caveats. Pros: - Good Image quality - High resolution and high brightness for an LED projector. - Long lamp life - Wireless connectivity - Built-in TV tuner and apps. Can connect antenna for basic TV service without paying for cable. - Relatively quiet fan and distance from projector helps with perceived noise. Cons: - Difficult to get an undistorted picture unless projecting on an absolutely perfect surface. - Color is not completely uniform but this is not too noticeable. - Needs faster way to switch between inputs. Magic Remote is not nice to use. - Cannot connect to 5 GHz WiFi APs. - Must be placed awkwardly in room. Cannot place too close to wall because image would be too small. Cannot place too far away from wall or on other side of room because image would be too large. Nice to haves: - Way to turn power on/off from remote app - webOS software updates - More input ports

PF1000 is pretty much as described. Its quality is fairly good and you don't need to worry about any obstacle in the projection line. However one should be aware and understand that the quality of projectors is very different from that of LCD TVs. The picture quality depends greatly on the environmental lighting and the projection surface. I think PF1000 does about the best it can, but you won't get a perfect picture unless you get all the other elements perfect as well. The key short fall/drawback of PF1000 is that its functions and quality depend solely on the reflective mirror, and the mirror is difficult to be kept clean and dust free because it is open and facing up the whole time. I wish there is a cover or air flow to protect the mirror and the projection head when the device is not in use. The customer services of LG was wonderful in responding to my service requests, though they don't seem to know exactly who are LG authorized service centers and what they repair.

Everyone's looking for an ultra short throw projector, I think this is top of the line. I'm just projecting it on my wall right now in the basement and the result was already good even with some ambient light coming from 2 small window and lampshade on. I'm thinking to get a projector screen in near future to take the most out of it. Believe it because when it comes to buying something/everything I can say I'm a type A's person.

Had this projector since start of the year and still very happy. It well suits my needs. Because of the short throw it can be on a unit close to the wall and projects a huge clear image and cables are kept close to the wall. It has lots of inputs which is useful. My Brother in law has already bought one for himeself

Such a fun and simple to use projector, amazing image quality, I actually have it at 140 inches. With only 1000 lumens you will need a dark room though, just get curtains. And super portable too I take it with me to friend's house all the time.

The software is horrible! Registering and all also is HORRIBLE. The video quality isn't bad and all it's just the software that makes is so bad. This device will frustrate you just trying to find "apps"

While this is a good 1080P Projector, I can't recommend it to anyone that cares about the "Smart TV" features. The primary apps I use are not supported (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, HBO, Pandora, Plex, etc.) The lumin output is OK, but you will need to strictly control ambient light (eg. blackout curtains, etc.)

I found this to perform really well in a dark room and reasonably well in ambient light conditions. It is not the best for direct light conditions - not much of a problem for my situation. Other than that, this projector is absolutely fantastic - LED lamp, Ultra Short throw, Bluetooth connectivity for audio, up to 100 inches screen, full HD resolution & reasonably silent for my taste.

Everythings perfect with this machine. But you can not adjust zoom in or out. You have to change the machine directly forward or backward. it's verry funny. is it really hard to make a button or something for it. For example if your Wall does not fit with your projector you can do nothing !!!

I bought this projector about a month ago. I was skeptical of the picture quality, given that the Ultra Short Throw is relatively new. I was pleasantly surprised after I got it all setup, the picture is great. No you can't really use it in a sunlit room but it is a home theater projector mainly for movies. I have my projector in a room that does not get direct sunlight and it is amazing. I was so impressed with this projector, I built my own entertainment center specifically for the projector. I put the projector under glass to minimize dust collecting on the lens and mirror and installed cooling fans to eliminate excess heat build up. I have the projector set at a distance farther than recommended, to give me a 120" screen and it performs perfectly with great picture quality. All my friends are amazed at how it works and how good the picture is. I bought this projector to watch movies but because of how well it performs, I use it for watching regular television as well. I have not even turned on my 70" inch television, since purchasing this projector. I will probably buy a second one for another room. Overall great job by LG.

Hardware - 4/5 - Weight remove the speaker it just add to weight, add "distance from wall" value displaced when moved or placed near a wall. Software 4/5 -- App and appstore need lot of improvement. Bluetooth with Amazon Echo doesn't work. Fire dongle works just fine with Echo.

Looks great, just wish there was a way to remove the slight bend at the top center. No alignment options for that. Its pretty small though and if you line the image up with the cloth it can easily hide that and the rest of the screen looks perfect and clear as can be. Love it.

So, I set this thing up and everything looks good. I go to the app store to install some the usual: Pandora, Plex, etc. Pandora? Nope. Plex? Not a chance. In fact, they have a whopping 35 total apps. That's right, TOTAL. So much for it being a "smart" device.

I bought this Projector and have been using for more than a month now. Recommended for below points: - Ultra Short Throw : No need for Extra room setup and can be used on a TV Table. - Portable : Small and portable - Input options : HDMI, Cable Antenna, USB. Almost all options you need like a TV - MiraCast : Casting enabled is another great feature, removes the need for a Chromecast - Life : With no need to change a lamp this can be used a daily use screen like TV Problem Areas: - Dark areas : They become obtrusive on black/night scenes - Not very Bright : But work in Theater setup rooms - Priced High then expected : The Price should be lower to justify a buy for this Item as many users even if impressed by this projector turn away for other options. Other Features: - Ok Speaker Sound: Need external for a good watching experience - Acceptable Fan sound : If Maximum Energy saving is enabled, the Fan sound does not bother and especially if you are using external speakers. - LG Smart : Not a great piece of feature but works for some basic TV Streaming services. I would really like LG to address the screen Dark Areas issue with an update (Hardware or Software).
