It has been amazing, great picture, great brightness, only slight issue is fast motion scenes are a little rough, but that's to be expected for the price, time of manufacture, and the corresponding technology available at that time. My only question is why is there a button that says "push" on the side without any mention of what it is for in the manual.

It showed damaged pixels just after one year and got worse with every use. After a few more months it started to flicker on half the screen and finally died completely after about three years. I did not use the projector very often. So I clearly recommend to stay away from this model and look fore something else.

Have owned for more than a year in my new theater room. Picture quality is excellent at 11ft diagonal. I try to keep the room dark for best picture with relatively low lumens. Wish I could load more apps though. Need a Fire Stick for better streaming options.

I bought this about six months ago and I'm very happy with this product. It has an excellent quality of colors. The sound of the proyector could be better but I used it whith a home theather. Is compact. I have to use it in save energy mode because it makes a lot of noice. The rest of the functions are excelent.

I work for a University and sometimes we have urgent meetings and all the conference rooms in our building with AV technology is booked. If someone had to present to the group, we all had to huddle around a laptop. We decided to buy a projector to solve this problem. The issue with projectors is that they can be unpredictable in terms of performance. After extension research, we decided to go with the LG PF1500. It is a little pricey but definitely worth it. Picture quality is great and the colors are punchy and not washed out. The projector is bright and can be used in a room with windows. I think the best benefit of the projector is that it is quite. Most projectors we looked at were loud and noisy. Its nice that the projector connects to our TV cables as well. Last march, we used it to watch one of the march madness games in the office. We very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend this projector to others.

I bought this about nine months ago and I love it as much today as when I got it. Great price, great picture and easy to use. In fact, I have made it my main TV viewer. I haven't even turned on my regular TV in months. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, the remote loses it's connection to the projector 3-4 times per week. No big deal, just have to pair it again.

I always wondered why my projector gets so hot. After one year use I found out that in eco mode only the fan spin reduces and not the brightness which is the reason for getting so hot. This was a known bug the whole time but LG never bothered to provide a fix!

Worked like a champ for a year and 6 months. Great picture and worked great even during daytime with verticals closed. The problem started when it turned off a few times by itself on dif. days. And then it technically died, it turns on stays running for maybe 20 secs or a bit more and then it shuts off & starts again by itself and goes into a loop of off/on with no secs delay in between. This even with external fans blowing at it. Any fix to this would be appreciated I'm sure more and more will eventually experience this.

I've had this projector for 11 months and am quite happy with it. I had a previous halide bulb DLP projector and wanted my next one to have an LED lamp. This is the first 1080p one I found at a good price. I'm using it with a 100" 1.0 gain screen in a dark room at a viewing distance of about 14', great for sports. It gives good brightness at the medium power setting. It was 1/3 the price, uses 1/3 the power, has higher resolution, and the lamp lasts 10 times that of my former 720p projector. It also has better brightness, color, and contrast, is quieter, and no mechanical color wheel (which failed with a raucous noise after about 5000 hours in my previous projector). I had to tweak it some from the default settings to optimize the picture, but after that the picture quality is very good.

Great picture with a screen! Super quite fan on medium setting. Picture just as bright as the day I got it and I watch it every night for at least 4 hours. I have it hooked up to a lg sound bar via Bluetooth. The best part is the sound bar turns on and connects when I turn on the projector. Good job LG on another great product!

Great projector. Clear picture. Bright enough for me. However, white dots started to appear (dead pixels). All within 3 months of purchase. Terrible quality for an object worth quite a bit. Not worth the money if it is going to fail in 3 months. Will have an over glorified paperweight.

I bought this last November and didn't even last me a whole year before I had issues... Today the lamp went dead I assume because it should not show the image and it flash for a second before it turns off and restarts again and does the same over and over, restart... Flash... and turns off.

I have this product for 6 months. Its quality is good but not LG update support. Everything is slow (browsing experience is horrible) and there are not much applications on this device. I have waited for so long to have a amazon video app with no luck.

I am about 6 months and 400 hrs of viewing time on this projector. Setup ceiling mounted in a fully light controlled room with a 1.0 gain white blackout cloth screen at 120". Image is outstanding in medium energy mode which is a good balance of brightness and low fan noise. Color really pops and the image is very clear. Overall I am very pleased with the projector. I have used some of the onboard apps, vudu and Netflix. I don't use them routinely as I primarily use an Apple TV and a PS3 to view online content. There is a lag in video processing causing sound sync issue, I have been able to adjust for in my receiver so it is not an issue. Other minor issues, finicky placement to get the image size for my screen, drilled three sets of holes in the ceiling but the third try was perfect. The biggest seller for me is the lack of bulb, no worries about dimming images or bulbs burning out! Overall the positives out weigh the minor issues and I would definitely recommend this projector.

1080P, color, lighting, clarity, size, led long life, cost, all the best in the class. A little lack of contents, comparing with google play. Attach a Android TV stick ($30-60) you it have all. I don't gaming with this projector. Very happy with it.

I don't know why - but whenever I have a strong opinion on something ... my brain associates it with a song title. I've lived with the LG PF1500 for a while now and I feel ready to share my thoughts here. Didn't we almost have it all - Whitney Houston 1st impression after turning the device on: "This is 1400 Lumens? I expected something brighter' - well, it was mid-day and I have 3 sliding glass doors in my living room with no curtains or blinds... Which left me with an image STILL viewable - but awash in ambient light :) Yeah, I know. 2nd impression: After turning on the LG PF1500 in a light-controlled room - "HOLY COW" this image is gorgeous! When viewed in a proper light-controlled room, the brightness and clarity is all you could ask for. Colors POP off the screen - and screens with a lot of white - like the builtin web-browser, fills the room with light. The device supports multiple paths to content, including widi/miracast, dual HDMI, ATSC TV Tuner, Component/Composite inputs via included adapters, USB(for divx/mkv/mp3), Wired and Wireless LAN for access to DLNA/NAS locally - in addition to Internet based content via their Smart TV features. These include netflix and hulu plus - but oddly ... doesn't support Amazon Prime video, even though that feature is available on other LG TV products. Perhaps that's an over-site and they'll fill in those blanks in their LG app store soon. I have tested each of these content sources and I'm pleased to report that they work well - just as you'd expect them to. Some have reported stuttering with widi/mira ... but that performance is dependent on the source as much as the receiver. The LG PF1500 comes with headphone/stereo jack out, built-in speakers - and the life-saving 'bluetooth audio' support. The builtin speakers are loud and thin - missing any hint of bass ... ( and I have to say, I'm all about dat bass ) The device easily pairs with speakers and provides a way to re-lip-sync the audio when/if you find the visual queues don't match the sound you're hearing. Customizing the image? If you're an average consumer looking for a giant TV on your wall or projector screen -there are menu options to control almost every aspect of picture quality, brightness, contrast, and clarity... As a business traveler, you've got builtin support for Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF - this makes a great travel projector -despite it's increased footprint over many other micro projectors. The size difference comes with a giant leap in lumens. If you're a an experienced home-theater geek looking for a true replacement for your bulb-based system - you will be less pleased with the black levels, gamma options and fan noise. If you're a gamer - you'll be disappointed you don't have more control over options that add LAG to the display - but you'll be awed by the giant-screen 1080P crisp game images. If you love/must-have 3D - then you will want to skip this projector. I bought my LG PF1500 when when there was still a lot of speculation over which models would support it. I took a chance .... and Alas - no 3D love for the American market. LG really dropped the ball and chose not to include this feature for the USA. LG's Korean model and possibly the European model are said to boast this feature - but American LG fans looking for a new projector with 3D should consider the other new projector from LG this year - the LG PW-800. With such a positive take-away on this projector - why title my review 'Didn't we almost have it all' ? ... Owning THIS top of the line LG projector without 3D ( for those of us who care about 3D ) Is like buying the newest Cadillac automobile and discovering they don't offer power steering, eating french fries without salt, or seeing Star Wars without surround-sound. Yes, you can do all of these things ... but you're always thinking about what's missing. LG, the LG PF1500 is a great all-around projector ... but I can tell you - everytime I load-up a movie ... I'm reminded of what it doesn't have. As it stands, sits, or hangs - it's a great little projector. One that always reminds me - LG, You almost had it all.
