I bought this a year ago and the subwoofer sounds terrible its leaking air in the box and it rattling because the material used is very cheap.

I bought this a month ago. Muck better sound than the Samsung TV. The fiber connect came loose a couple of times and I had to replug it in. Other than that a great buy.

This has totally changed the movie viewing experience. I am less inclined to go to the movies and really enjoy the sound quality that the sound bar has to offer. I didn’t have one prior to this.

Got this after our old soundbar died (different brand). It was so easy to install and set up - pairs really nicely with the wireless speakers. Sound is excellent - bass boost is probsbly the best overall setting, IMHO. Am definitely enjoying the upgrade!

We bought this 3 days ago. Hook up was super easy. Didn't need any instructions. Powered it up, put the woofer next to it and it came on. I'm hearing impaired and wear hearing aids. Our flat screen TV speakers made it hard to understand. Aids are Bluetooth but unfortunately, this system doesn't feature that use. I'm still able to clearly understand what's being said. I connected my phone and laptop via Bluetooth. Works great. Trailcameras videos are very clear audio. Phone playing music is wonderful. I downloaded the app, music flow Bluetooth. Not needed but works. Overall, I'm going to keep it. Even registered it already. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a midgrade soundbar.

I’ve had mine for about a year and then my subwoofer suddenly stopped connecting to my sound bar.. my wireless subwoofer started having a blinking red light.. don’t know what that means, hopefully someone can help.

Subwoofer stopped working.... hardly even use the subwoofer. Sound bar still works. I dont recommend this product

All of a sudden the sound goes in and out. Mostly the subwoofer. Makes no sense and is very noticeable during movies and song play. Stick with Harmon or Bose.

Bought this item about 6 months ago and the subwoofers volume stopped working out of no where, it used to sound really loud with loud bass, but now it doesn’t sound very loud at all. We did not use the product that often. Tried everything to fix the problem and can’t seem to figure out the issue. Also called the support number for LG and they cannot understand the issues either. Highly frustrating, do not recommend.

I've had this soundbar for about 7 months now. it sounds great but every few seconds, the subwoofer loses connection. It's really embarrassing especially when you have guests over. I've tried to fix the issue but I can't figure out how. It doesn't have a usb port so I'm not sure how I can update the firmware. Annoying

For about 6 months the unit worked fine. After that the subwoofer stopped connecting with the soundbar on a regular basis. We have to unplug the sun woofer and then plug back in after it cycles down. It has gotten worse as of lately. We now unplug and get a red flashing light or other times we get a green flashing light. Red flashes slowly and green flashes quickly. We cannot get it to stop the green flashing as of right now and it will not connect.

I've had this for some months now and it's starting to act out of the ordinary. It's the second one I've owned and was great for awhile, then there were issues with random sound changes, then it wouldn't turn on when TV was turned on, now sound is getting softer and there is no sound change between cinema and standard settings. They're nice but just don't last.

My only issue with this product is not being able to change the Bluetooth settings. One of my neighbors (I do not know which one has connect to my Bluetooth and plays music at odd hours of the night. I called LG support to figure out how I can reset the Bluetooth or add a PIN and I was told there is nothing I can do. Well, other than turning off the system.

I bought this three weeks ago and having set it up just now, it is clear there is a fault as the volume gets pushed up to maximum every time it is switched to optical. Various batteries swapped in the remote, optical cable changes and hardware elimination have been attempted. I've also found that the volume functions on the back on the soundbar change the function (not the volume) and the remote itself does not allow any buttons to cause any change. I am having to get this returned back to where I bought this.

I've had this for almost a year now and I'm still quite pleased with it. It works flawlessly with my LG TV but I also frequently use it with my laptop computer, wirelessly. Good Choice!

Bought this sound bar several months ago to use with my TV and Amazon Echo Dot. It was very easy to setup using a optical connection to the TV and Bluetooth connection to the Echo Dot. Sound is great from either source.

I've had my sound bar for about 7 months now and it still works great!! It switches over automatically but when you turn off bluetooth, you have to switch the function back manually with the remote. Awesome subwoofer that comes with it too. It doesn't distort when you turn it up which is always a plus. Just a great product all around.

The LG sound bar and woofer do a fine job working with my LG TV to provide good, clear sound for all of my DVD's. They look excellent and have a quality feel to them. (Note: I do not use my LG TV for broadcast services. It is basically a playback machine for my many films. I cannot comment on sound reproduction from broadcast services. However, the sound is excellent from all of my DVD films.) One thing that I would add to all sound bars (including this one) and all TV's is an earphone jack. There are numerous times where I want to be the only one hearing the sound and as a senior citizen it would be nice to bring the sounds "up close and personal" so to speak. One other important comment: I am very disappointed to see that LG is not including the 3D feature in all of its TV's (from 2017 on) except for its expensive and large size OLED TV's. My LG 55" (model #55UH8500 2016 model) 4K UHD 3D TV is the best TV that I have ever owned. I may have to hunt down another one of these very rare TV's just to have a spare. (My motorized TV cabinet that raises and lowers the TV can only accommodate a 55" or smaller TV.) I also really like the passive 3D glasses system that only LG and a few other companies chose to use. 3D Blu-ray films continue to be produced and 4k 3D players are still available. Please LG come back to 3D machines in the United States! There are many U.S. 3D fans that want this feature in their TV's.

I bought this and out of the box it's like PNP plug in play. Exceptional sound from this LG sound bar system. The SH4 puts out some good subwoofer low LFE effects with proper volume level. Would like to see some type of volume number levels to indicate how loud your are playing output.
