Bought this item 8 years ago works great till recently started hearing crackling. Daily use lasted longer than expected went threw 3 tvs now looking for an upgraded versión.

I bought this item, and two H1s to give myself a cheap surround setup. When it works it sounds very pleasant and adds a lot of fun to movies and shows. However, these products rarely work together as advertised by LG. From the connection between the speakers being unstable from one to the other, to certain speakers randomly disconnecting and being unable to reconnect until hours have passed for seemingly no reason at all. i have gigabit internet that extends well past our house. The most recent issue I have had is also the most infuriating. For some reason when the speakers are connected to each other (surround or wireless link) then no audio passes through ANY of the speakers. I am so incredibly dissatisfied and disappointed.

I brought this product in 2015. I thought it would be a good match with my new LG tv, and I could add wireless speakers to my system. Little did I know how many problems I would have. Its necessary to constantly reconnect this system to my wifi and to reconnect speakers to soundbar. The music flow app is basically a piece of garbage. LG discontinued the music flow system and provides little, if any support help. The sound quality is, I find, very good, WHEN IT WORKS. What's the use of having a good sounding system that has to be constantly reinstalled and reconfigured. All these problems, and more, greatly takes away from the enjoyment of listening to music, which is of great importance to me. I am past my wits end with this system and LG.

My kitten chewed the optical cable between the LG TV and LG sound bar. After other businesses sole me a universal cable that was not universal, I called LG and got the correct one. Alas the kitten chewed that one too so I had to order a new one.

It is really difficult to connect to my wifi, sometimes it works and sometimes do not. So every time my router is restarted for some reason, I have to try to connect several times before I get a successful connection.

Always crisp clear sound, at any level. On my move cross country I put the soundbar on the dash of the van, soon in the back, ran an inverter; makes a great car stereo.. Lemme tell ya!

I purchased the SH7B about a month ago and was a little intimidated I am not to high tech savvy. I played with the controls and downloaded the instruction manual and it started to come together. It sounds Great! I highly recommended it to everyone.

Our only problem is when grandchildren are watching cartoons and the next cartoon starts only the background music is heard (no voices and we need to reset the soundbar. No other issues.

I bought this unit a few months ago. I have it connected to an LG OLED 65" TV. I first connected it with the optical cable. That worked OK, but the volume would vary while watching live TV. I just switched it do a HDMI cable and the unit works fine now. Very good sound for the money.

Bought the product two weeks ago at Costco. Easy to install in less than 10 minutes. Sounds great with subwoofer. The only issues I have had are the tv and the soundbar are out of sync a little. Another problem is the sound will suddenly diminish occasionally .

Recently joined the streaming senior population that rid ourselves of satellite tv. Our family room is not suitable for surround sound and sound from the tv was not meeting our needs. Decided to try the LG sound bar to complement our LG tv and it has fulfilled our need big time. May be getting older with some hearing loss, but the sound bar has made tv a better resdon to watch. Just saying.

I’ve had this sound bar for 4 months and i love its versatility and sound. It auto connects to my tv whenever i turn it on, or i can change it to BlueTooth and stream from any wireless devices. Sooo simple and user friendly, it just works and sounds great

I have the sound bar paired with the 55" OLED HDTV. Gorgeous picture and good sound. The native speakers of the TV are deplorable - so the sound bar is a must. A nightmare of interface issues when I used the HDMI ARC connection (loss of sound on channel change, sometimes surround only with no dialog audio, sometimes back to program from commercial dropped out the sound bar all together). All issues resolved by simply changing from HDMI to optical.

I have had this sound bar for about a month now. I am noticing that when we change channels or sometimes when we switch outputs, half the sound just goes out. The only way to fix it is to turn off the TV and turn it back on again. Then the sound comes through the TV speakers at first before it switches to the sound bar. VERY annoying!

The LG SH7B replaced a surround sound speaker system of 5 desktop speakers plus a sub woofer. The soundbar really cleans up the area and provides the same quality of sound we have been used to. It was not too difficult to set up, and we have enjoyed it tremendously.
