Construction & Build
The guitar has a solid cedar top, made from wood that's hundreds of years old, which lends to a fantastic tonality that only improves with age. In addition to careful tonewood selection, including rosewood for the back and sides of the guitar and mahogany for the neck, a special eight-layer lacquer is applied to the final build and then sanded and buffed to a smooth glossy finish. The finish has been formulated to enhance the natural resonance of the wood, unlike some stains and lacquers which dampen a guitar's ability to project sound.

Design & Playability
While it's built in the spirit of classical acoustic design, this instrument features a new truss rod system that La Patrie uses to slim down the neck. This allows for an easier reach on the fretboard than many traditional classical guitars, reducing hand fatigue and increasing playing comfort.
