This bag is a perfect fit for carrying camera gear, go pro gear, even stores a laptop and plenty of safety to make sure nothing gets damaged. My son was over the moon with this bag. Great quality. Easy and fast shipping. All around an amazing purchase, and we couldn't beat the price!

Excellent camera bag with sufficient space in the top for day hiking supplies. Can adequately fit a Canon full-frame DSLR with 70-200 lens and two additional wide-angle, prime, or multi-use lenses, as well as accessories and filters. I do not carry a laptop with me so I was able to rig the laptop compartment to accommodate my Camelbak water system (I recommend placing it inside of a very large zip lock for added insurance). You really will be concerned with weight long before you start to run out of space for your gear. The straps are comfortable and sturdy when used properly. The tripod strap though does leave the tripod a little lose. I used a flexible gear tie for added stability. I hiked two days with this bag in California, including to the top of Mt Tallac - worked great.

Quality of the product is great and the modular storage is useful to get your setup just how you want it. Camera storage is tight and can only seem to fit the 70-200 while attached to the camera. This is a trade off for the extra non camera storage up top which is what I was after. Haven’t had a chance to use the water proof casing yet but was a factor in the decision while out camping or hiking. I would highly recommend for someone looking for a travel pack that will carry more then just camera equipment.

Poorly designed. I was concerned about the security of my camera in the side access bag.

I like this backpack as it's just the one what I want. I was browser for a backpack for travel purpose just to hold my 5D IV with battery grip, and one or more extra lens or flashlight, also the room for laptop and some stuffs. This is the only items I can find, and it does the job. The only concerns I have is that the room for holding the 5D body is not thick enough. It was just tightly fit in, but I always feel can't close the zip when putting in my camera.

The backpack looked very small to be able to hold all which was stated in its description. I was able to fit all of my current camera options and a laptop in the pack with room to spare.

I bought this pack for a trip to Jamaica last week. It is the perfect size for a trip like this. No problems going into overhead bins on the flights. I fit my Nikon D800 with vertical grip, 16-35mm wide angle, 85mm prime, 24-120mm zoom, sb910 flash, pocket wizards, 13 inch laptop, external hard drive and other accessories with some room to spare. I would highly recommend this lowepro pack.

I'm just starting out in the photography world. So this purchase was my first big one, and one that I was scared to make. But I can gladly say that I don't regret this purchase. Obviously I did a lot of research, and this pack came out on top for a majority of my searches. This pack is amazing! It is so sturdy, has SO MUCH room, and comfortably sits on my back (which I struggle to get from backpacks because I'm short)! I'm really looking forward to using this pack more, and filling it with more gear as I continue to work more with photography.

Needed a case for a trip through Europe and wanted something that would hold both camera stuff and day hike stuff. This has worked great. I carry a sony a7 with prime lens and two additional primes (short- 24mm, 35mm and 85mm), two extra batteries and the charger (that charges in camera), filters and a remote controller. That's all I wanted to carry so I am pleased, but if you wanted to carry more (in the lower compartment) it would be tough- that fills it up pretty tight. In the top I carry a jacket shell, snacks, phone, charging bank, sunglasses, gloves, etc., and with that there is room for more. I love that I can swing it around on my left shoulder and access the camera to get it or put it away quickly while moving. Haven't needed the rain cover, but am glad it is there (and have stuffed a camera rain cover in the same slot). It is very comfortable to carry and feels very well made- I have no concern about it failing. If Lowepro is reading and wants to hear a wish list, it would be 1) to have more of the loop material inside so the dividers could be arranged in more ways (currently it is placed in only particularly places so you are kind of stuck on interior layout- you can remove pieces, but you can't rearrange it much) and 2) figure out a configuration where the camera AND and additional lens can be accessed through the side flap. As it is, if I want to change lenses, I have to take it off my back and open the entire bottom to get another lens out. But... I am very happy with the bag. Love the top/bottom separation, love how tightly it holds everything in place, love the quick access side flap, love how comfortable it is. Oh, and the design of the camera section and the necessity to undo a flap to then unvip the full access seemed like an annoying concept at first, but over time I have come to like it because I am paranoid about my gear and that closure method makes it next to impossible for some to nefariously quick-access the camera section while it is on your back.

I bought this backpack in April 2016, and it still looks brand-new. I haven't had a single issue with it, even though I've brought it all around the world: from New York to Beijing, from forests in Scandinavia to temple ruins in Cambodia. This backpack has served me well with no signs of stopping. The only downside is that it's simply too small sometimes, which forces me to pack it to the brim. I've lugged it around for hours on end when it weighs over 12kg, and while it's exhausting for sure, it's never an issue for my back. This is an excellent backpack that can be used for almost any occasion for what I can only assume is decades.

I took this on a recent trip through the Middle East. I would have liked a bigger bag, but I had little time and this was in stock. I did a tour of "backpack journalism" and had a variety of gear and a lot to move over a short time. The bag worked perfectly. It held a laptop, camera, two lenses, a recorder, a few microphones, chargers, extra batteries, small lights, iPhone photo gear, and some personal gear. It carried the weight well, fit on several airplanes, and the rain cover held up to the weather. It's well made and well designed. All in all, I'm very pleased.

I love all the travel features with attention to going through airport security. Especially the strap for the putting it on a telescoping luggage handle. Dislike that it won't fit my nikon 70-300 mm lens comfortably. If I put in pocket vertically it sticks up a little too far. My lowepro sling I used to put it horizontally in a pocket with a partition over it to hold it in place. Not the best but more protective.

I can't imagine a more versatile traveling companion. I used this bag to take a vintage Rolleicord, two DSLRs and three lenses and light meter plus my MacBook Pro, a travel tripod, cords, and personal items and a rain jacket to Ireland for a month-long slog. Now, I am living in Ukraine and I use this bag as my daily commuter walking to work and back. Takes my lunch, laptop and papers without complaint; my camera too, if I need it. I fold my raincoat and secure it under the back flap. Pretty much the ultimate bug out bag for a photographer on the go. I can even tuck in an extra pair of pants and a shirt for extended, secure travel on the night train to distant destinations. Could not be happier.

I've been using this pack for 3 weeks now. It has gone with me on a wildlife shoot, a corporate event and several small events. It houses my lenses and flashes well. I like that I can turn it on my left shoulder and pull the camera out of the pouch. So far it's been perfect. And the built in rain cover is perfect durning monsoon rains!

Though the camera backpack itself seems fine (have had it for a very limited time), be prepared to be BARRAGED by emails from this company, should you order something from them. Email after email after email. Newsletters, ads, moment by moment order & shipping updates. Unsubscribe ... still get them. Send a feedback message ... still get them. TOTALLY not worth it.

Recently acquired a Zone VI folding field 4X5 camera and 3 lenses. These types of cameras are not in wide use anymore and manufactures don't make backpacks now specifically for their use. This bag, however, completely fits the bill. The top compartment easily accommodates the camera and dark cloth, the lower camera/lens compartment is easily adjusted to take the 3 lenses and light meter, 6 film holders and changing bag slip into the laptop compartment, and the remaining two compartments hold a box of film, shutter cords, notebook and other miscellaneous items. The bag is light in weight and rides well fully loaded on your back even with a larger tripod hanging on the side.

I purchased this bag from Lowepro to use for traveling when I'm flying to a photo shoot destination. It has extra padding to support both my camera, the photography equipment (lenses, flash) and my laptop for editing. Lowepro always provides high quality products.

Avoid this backpack - looks are deceiving. Poorly built. It lacks of good padding specially on the laptop sleeve bottom (less than 1/8" thickness). Also zippers tend to run open by itself when completely full. Not that spacious - pictures not true. Thanks,

I have used Lowe Alpine and/or Lowepro packs for more than 30 years. This pack left me feeling a little empty. I bought this one because it had a 15" laptop pocket. It does have a nice pocket for that and a roomy top pocket for other than photo equipment, though the top pocket does not open as wide as it could. What I don't like is there are no outside MOLLE webbing attachment points or any lashing locations outside of a single tripod pocket and strap. Not even one for fasten a Lowepro Lens case. This pack has a flap over a small pocket in front of the camera pocket. It could be a little deeper with more organization to hold cables, chargers, and photo gear. I always travel with my office, pencils, pens, markers, measuring tools, contracts, business cards, etc. More pockets for this could be provided. Only 2 pen pockets provided. I'd like 6! Give me more organization that really works! Not flat pockets that fit nothing. Lowepro, for a camera bag, this is not your best.

This backpack perfectly protects lots of camera gear and provides quick easy access to all of it. There is plenty of room for personal items in the top compartment. The pack fits well, as one can expect from Lowe designers. My large laptop fits neatly into a well protected sleeve. It may be a bit large for overhead storage on smaller connecting flights but will have no trouble on a full size airliner. I am very pleased with this product and it's price is more than fair. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to carry enough gear to capture any photographic opportunity that comes along the trail, both comfortably and safely.

Fits my all camera gears and all my travel essentials. I can squeeze in my winter jacket to the top compartment and still space left for other small items. The only downside of this bag is the tripod strap can't hold my mid-size tripod (440mm folded length) securely.

Bought this backpack several months ago and have since been to Colorado, Oregon, Mississippi, and Africa. It's been with me everywhere. I carry a Nikon D750 and two or three lenses, a spare battery and charger, cleaning supplies and an assortment of lens filters. I even stuff my laptop in. It's heavy or at least what I put in it is. Great thing, it has held up. The straps are comfortable, the padding is good, and the overall design is really flexible.
